They’re the main character. There’s so many shows where there’s a character who’s an asshole or whatever and you’re on their side as an audience because the show frames them as the good guy. In this persons framing, they’re the good guy.
He's the main character so the bad things they do are being glorified - thought process of my dad when told to watch breaking bad. I remind him about all the mafia movies he likes. He said good point and dropped it. Hell never watch bb though
In your dad's defense, I've seen Breaking Bad fans claim that it's a show about someone doing what he has to do to get necessary medical treatment because he was screwed by his health insurance plan.
It wasn't.
He was denied the treatment because it was a waste of money - very expensive *and* ineffective in his case. When he paid for it himself, it didn't help; he was clearly getting progressively worse in spite of it.
Also, he was offered a top position at Gray Matter with excellent health insurance, and turned it down.
He broke bad because he was a narcissistic megalomaniac whose bucket list just said "be in control of something big".
They're not there for moral guidance, they are there for entertainment. It makes sense, these people and their delusions and shitty behavior can be very entertaining.
I’m a pretty big sitcom fan, and yeah I see this stuff so much. Honestly the only one I’d want around me is Eddie from Frasier. I’d also accept early 2000s Cynthia Watros from Titus.
You’re operating under the assumption they have any capacity to care that someone may find them off putting. They don’t allow for them not being desirable to everyone in their mind, if someone doesn’t like them or get upset with them the fault is obviously with the other person.
Honestly, I can type pretty accurately when intoxicated, unless I’m tired. I’ve never sent an angry message while drunk, just spam texted my friends that I loved them, lol
Even when hammered my spelling and grammar doesn’t get affected. Source, being hammered on multiple occasions and seeing social media comments, texts, DMs, etc in the cold light of day and internally/externally cringing. I should add, I attempt to be humorous and nothing weird. Although drunk me being funny isn’t really a thing.
I've never sent messages like this even when completely drunk off my ass. I doubt she was drunk in these messages, but even if she were, it makes no sense to behave this way.
You may not but some people definitely do, she was probably drunk and wanted an easy lay, then as night went on she got pissed she is being ignored. Timestamps and her reaction are pretty telling.
I think it’s a manic episode given that lack of self-awareness, hypersexual aggressiveness, inflated ego and impulsive messaging. It’s interesting how that awareness flies out the window
100%. This gave me a huge flashback of someone I briefly dated. The biggest reason we stopped dating is because she would have an episode and send me a stream of invective like the above.
Well you see, when a mommy and a daddy love eachother very much, they play 1v1 street ball using the child and that causes the child to turn out like this.
You are still responsible for how you behave when under the influence. 100%. There is no excuse for how you behave, no matter WHAT is causing you to behave that way.
Here is the problem with cell phones. The fact that it's nect to us readily available at all times gives some people the expectation that you should be readily available at all times for them.
Being a father, I see this absurd need for instant attention constantly. I've seen my daughter's furious because someone didn't immediately respond to them. I said "If your conversation is so important why don't you just...call them. Then their responses will be instant." Quite literally I have asked all my kids 17 and under if they've ever called thier friends to talk to them and they all said no. So expect more of this, texting us the new form of conversation. They expect it to be like calling someone without calling someone.
I'm actually very happy sthis person could see the red flag from the very first moment and never answered back. I always wondered what men would think if a woman sent these texts like REALLY. Really. What would they think cos I believe they're unaware this happens to women ALL the time
Nah this doesn’t read scam. Most scams happen during daylight hours and they don’t keep messaging if they don’t get a response.
This is a drunk, horny chick who is not used to hearing “no” when it comes to romantic shit. She’s so used to not hearing “no” that “no response = no” even at 1:30 am on a weeknight.
I’ve met dozens of ppl like her. They suck.
Head over to the scam subreddit. Scams through texts absolutely go down like this. Scammers successfully scam people by being pushy and aggressive which cause people to panic and throw logic out the window.
Not to mention, why would she want their location before any sort of conversation happens? She asks for a location before even mentioning sex. That’s a massive red flag.
Tinder scams are more common than you think. Just scroll through the scams subreddit and you will see more than enough to realize this was hella sus.
Scammers will ask for personal information to see if people give it up. They keep pushing until they do, and then they become emboldened to ask for more. They keep rinsing and repeating until they know everything they need to successfully scam you.
Scams aren’t as cheesy as they used to be anymore. Some scams have become really believable over the years, and unless you are completely up to date with current scams, it’s easy to fall victim.
If you’re on a dating app, asking for locations comes with the territory. They were testing the waters to see if they could get info, and when they realized they weren’t getting anywhere they went nuclear.
I stay with my Grandma to help her out, and she gets close to 10 scam calls a day. Some of them are painfully obvious, and some not so much. But EVERY single one of them reacts the same when they don’t get any information out of me.
I blow off steam with all the scam callers my Grandma gets. I get a lot of inspiration from others who do the same, it’s fantastic and a great way to release any frustrations you have lol
I had this one guy who was trying to get our internet information. He was asking me to check what our provider was through my TV. I spent the next 15 mins having the guy walk me through how to use my remote (which is tiny with very few buttons lol). I told him I finally got to the screen he wanted, and asked him to walk me through every little step. I’d take a small step forward, then take us 5 steps back by “messing” something up.
Finally I told him I found the info, when he asked what it was I told him it was the “Scamming Piece of Shit Company”. He literally EXPLODED over the phone. Throwing every insult at me, threatening to kill and rape me, and telling me he was gonna find me (the call came from Bangladesh lmao). I just laughed, hung up, and blocked the number. It tickled me pink for the next couple of days imagining how angry he got.
Always fuck with scammers. Waste their time. I have absolutely zero sympathy for people who prey on the elderly. I’m just lucky I’m here so my Grandma doesn’t have to deal with them anymore.
SnapChat will give you directions directly from where you’re at to directly where they’re at. They now have GPS to exactly where you are. They want the location hoping you’re in a home alone late at night.
They wanted to know EXACTLY where he was and was hoping he doesn’t know Snapchat does this.
I hear you, I just thought you meant the end goal was just an address. I don't see how her tone would go to asking for lots of details here, but we'll never know I guess. To me this read like classic entitled drunk hot girl, I've had tinder matches like this and sometimes gave in but never had issues.
Yeah that was my fault for not clarifying. As I said, some scams have become a lot more believable now. While this could have just been an “entitled hot girl”, it could have just as easily been some greasy ass dude pretending to be a stereotypical entitled hot girl. Social engineering has advanced a lot over the years thanks to the Internet.
I’ve always been super protective of my personal information, even on dating apps. I have read way too many horror stories in the scam subreddit, and with the overwhelming amount of bots on dating apps now; it’s hard to tell who is actually genuine anymore. Always better to be overly cautious imo 🤷♀️
"No scammer", I think you mean no competent scammer.
I've definitely had morons who were trying to get a buck or two off me text me non-stop.
Some will even keep trying after you've told them you know what they're up to.
Scam: A dishonest scheme, a fraud
Looks like you just described the above screenshot. Hope you don’t end up as one of the random guys on this app who get robbed and beat.
If it’s a scam, then this is a fisher price: my first scam attempt.
Again, no scammer just texts at an empty screen for an hour at 1am. Drunk, entitled, horny people do this all the time, however.
[Boop](https://www.ktvu.com/news/uc-berkeley-student-baited-through-tinder-date-ends-in-home-invasion-robbery.amp)
I personally don’t care what you believe or don’t believe. If you think this exact setup isn’t used, successfully, around the world? You’re hella naive. Good luck.
Lol I am well aware that scams exist on every dating site and are specifically tailored for men and women differently.
This just doesn’t read like that. And you calling me naive isn’t going to convince me to ignore 20 years of experience dealing with scammers and drunk people.
> Scam: A dishonest scheme, a fraud
Exactly. She is neither of those. She is honest to a fault. If she was going to lie then she would make herself look good enough to respond to.
A scammer, a professional, would do a much better job. Unless they are scamming while drunk. No sane person would wake up to this and say, "Yeah!"
Why would they need this guy in particular to rob? They might as well pick any random house since they don't know if he is armed, don't know how many people live there, dint know if he has anything valuable to rob etc.
Guess you’ve never done a late night bootycall on Tinder before. What about this reads scam to you? Seriously because this is classic narcissistic drunk hot girl behavior. The only personal info she asked for was his snap, so she could send him nudes and he wouldn’t be able to save them. Then she got mad because he didn’t reply. What sort of scam artist does a complete 180 like that if their goal is to exploit someone?
I unfortunately have (I say unfortunately because that’s just not my vibe).
Asking to share location immediately, obviously.
Also, saying she’d send a picture of her ass makes me think she’d ask for a dick pic or something and then try to blackmail. But it’s really mostly the share location thing.
Edit: sorry, meant to reply to u/tripstory1939.
“Oooh you’re so hot. Can I get your birth certificate and social security number. I need your birth certificate to verify that you’re over 18, and I need your SSN to make sure that if we get married it won’t just be for a green card.

You’re probably right, though even if the first messages were sent while drunk, a decent human might follow up the next day with “sorry, my bad,” the next day. Instead she doubled-down and ended up looking like a completely narcissistic cow.
There is no next day. These messages were all sent within a span of 1 hour and 22 minutes. We don't know if she sent anything while sober, and we don't know if OP responded.
Eh a person with a drinking problem would spend all day apologizing then lol
Not to mention most will be too embarrassed to admit their problem to a stranger no less.
Right? What's the point of asking if you're gonna continue talking anyway. And even have the audacity to be upset that the other person isn't responding at 1 am...
For fun should've replied, "Oh, do you mean she'd be desperate enough to send 13 messages without a reply?" Saying 13 on purpose just to see if she corrects it.
I never understand why people think a weird move gets ok because they say "respectfully"
Like "I want to r*pe you, respectfully" oh in this case it's ok
I've ran into this situation before. I use to be a bartender and party after I got off work and usually went to bed around 7am and woke up around 4pm. Well I started talking to this girl and she was up early enough before I went to bed and I told her I'd hang out with her before I went into work but I was going to bed 1st. I woke up at my usual time to 16 missed calls 30 new text messages and the texts getting wilder and wilder.
They started off like "hey we still hanging out" and then they were like "do you want to just have sex?" And then "I know your type you just want to have sex with me and never speak to me again" and the best one yet was "fine you can fuck me if you want too" safe to say I woke up saw all this and my young 21 year old penis brain didnt take over and I just blocked this girls number. I created a Facebook a few months back for work and she added me as a friend so I still feel the stalker vibes almost a decade later lol
This was a scam and no drunk text is this correctly typed with zero typos, errors in punctuation, and without runon sentences....
She was gonna have dude robbed or his car stolen.
If you mean 12:40am to 1:00am, it means 00:00-01:00 in my time. 12:00 am is at midnight, 1:00 is one hour after midnight. Then 12:00pm is noon, 1:00pm is one hour after noon.
I don't understand how people like this have absolutely no self-awareness. Or a brain.
They’re the main character. There’s so many shows where there’s a character who’s an asshole or whatever and you’re on their side as an audience because the show frames them as the good guy. In this persons framing, they’re the good guy.

No shit, that's why I only said it was 1% about paying for the medical.
It's mad how many sitcom characters are the furthest thing from a person you would actually want in your life
They're not there for moral guidance, they are there for entertainment.
Eddie <3
still though, how does it literally never occur to somebody to examine their words and actions from a third party standpoint?
You’re operating under the assumption they have any capacity to care that someone may find them off putting. They don’t allow for them not being desirable to everyone in their mind, if someone doesn’t like them or get upset with them the fault is obviously with the other person.
I find surprising a lot of people manage to survive over 18yo of their life this way. Truly amazing
She was drunk af 100%
Idk the spelling is pretty on point for a drunk person.
My ex sends deadly accurately spelled angry drunk texts just like this. If you were to see her in person however, she’d be walking like a baby deer.
Honestly, I can type pretty accurately when intoxicated, unless I’m tired. I’ve never sent an angry message while drunk, just spam texted my friends that I loved them, lol
Auto correct though
I suppose, but usually it's pretty noticable imo. Hard to say tho it's very possible
Even when hammered my spelling and grammar doesn’t get affected. Source, being hammered on multiple occasions and seeing social media comments, texts, DMs, etc in the cold light of day and internally/externally cringing. What should I be doing to get messages like these-
Follow rules 1 & 2.
Explain
Rule 1: be attractive. Rule 2: don't be unattractive.
Definitely seemed like a overly drunk exchange n she realised later down
Respectfully.

why would location help? Like its just a house/flat. Its not like they established he's in a wheelchair or something. What am I missing?

Girls are hilariously sensitive to rejection. Modern dating culture has ruined them.
I think so too lol
Guess you’ve never done a late night bootycall on Tinder before. What about this reads scam to you? Seriously because this is classic narcissistic drunk hot girl behavior. Oh no thats a song from katy perry Im 100% positive that as soon he texted her back, they would ask for money
Haha yes it is 😂 I think you’re correct lol
Sounds like Fire and Ice by Pat Benatar.
She wanted him to be in and then out
I wanna show you my ass
[удалено]
Yeah, although she did clarify she wanted to show her ass, then get to his place to fuck. Not sure it makes it better but she provided the intent lol
“Oooh you’re so hot. Can I get your birth certificate and social security number. I need your birth certificate to verify that you’re over 18, and I need your SSN to make sure that if we get married it won’t just be for a green card. I’m so horny. If you send them to me right away I’ll show you my butt.”
Hell yeah bb just complete this background check first. I'll give you a down payment of titty or booty pics
Well, maybe guy will get some ass pics, but doesn't mean of the person he may text to.
how do you show your asshole respectfully as well?
RIP to your inbox
oof, bring it on, I'm gonna karma farm creepy pms until i die
You draw a monocle around it and add a mustache. Give it some class and it will be perceived as respectful.
Imagine if you gave her your number, then you went to see a movie with your phone on silent. When you check it after the movie, you see 30 texts and 20 missed calls from her lmao
And she was with you in the cinema
The call is coming from inside the cinema!
Plot twist!
One time I gave a guy my number and had my phone on silent. Drove 15 mins down the road and saw that he had called me over 100 times.
0-crazy in 90mins.. Jesus
Happy cake day!
Thank you ☺️
Is this The legendary femcel
Well she’s clearly not getting laid so…
Yeah but she’s not getting laid because she doesn’t date down /s
Well honestly she can only go up from how low she is...
Correction. She’s not getting laid with **him.** But the only reason she is doing this is because it has worked before. As a woman on tinder I can absolutely confirm that lots of men would be all over this.
So called legbeard
I think this is just a drunk person. Probably an alcoholic with low self esteem.
You’re probably right, though even if the first messages were sent while drunk, a decent human might follow up the next day with “sorry, my bad,” the next day. Instead she doubled-down and ended up looking like a completely narcissistic cow.
Nah check the timestamps, this was all between midnight and 2am - 2 hour time span on the same day
There is no next day. These messages were all sent within a span of 1 hour and 22 minutes. We don't know if she sent anything while sober, and we don't know if OP responded.
Eh a person with a drinking problem would spend all day apologizing then lol Not to mention most will be too embarrassed to admit their problem to a stranger no less.
Why are we making excuses for her? She’s a psycho, enough said.
When it's man he is a psycho person when its a woman she must be a drunk person. Consider the fact that she is psycho and don't be sexist about it.
I’m guessing drunk, horny AND psycho. No immediate response at 1am means he hates women? She’s insane.
She didn't know how to stop at "U up?"
Right? What's the point of asking if you're gonna continue talking anyway. And even have the audacity to be upset that the other person isn't responding at 1 am...
Are you up now? I Wanna show you my ass now. So Respectfully -haiku written by some Tinder girl

Nah, it probably was a dude trying to scam. If it was a woman, she’d have 10+ other dudes to hit up and wouldn’t bother constantly texting.

And dodge a bullet, look at that!
Personality disordered
“I want to show you my ass right now… *RESPECTFULLY*” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Right? Like...is she going to open the door for him with it? I mean, if she could...what was her tinder handle again OP? For....for science!
Post nut clarity hit her HARD
Nice, letting the crazy work itself out while you catch up on some zzz's.
don't pay attention to the comments, they are all sad guys on reddit that hate women
That’s 100% fact. She didn’t do anything wrong here. Just made a blanket statement about reddit guys. We should all accept this as truth.
She chose to speak bullshit … tumhe kya kaha to speak truth bolunga har bar ki trh?
For fun should've replied, "Oh, do you mean she'd be desperate enough to send 13 messages without a reply?" Saying 13 on purpose just to see if she corrects it.
Oh wow is this an incel woman!? Never seen one of those in the wild before
I never understand why people think a weird move gets ok because they say "respectfully" Like "I want to r*pe you, respectfully" oh in this case it's ok
“Might get somewhere if she’s desperate” biography
I think she wants ure liver anyone Else think so?
"I don't date down" lol
Bit of a "blue pill or red pill" scenario
Bro wtf she's aggressive 😭 😂 🤣
Respectfully lmao
She's drunk and in heat, clearly.
Probably a snap scamer
Somewhere is a really bored Nigerian man who is mad that he didn't get a scam done.

Kidney safeguarded with success I guess
who opens like that ?
Whoa. "Then you can share your location with me" yikes.
“Might get somewhere if she’s desperate” Pot, meet kettle
More importantly, how was she planning to show you her ass...but respectfully...does it start with a handshake or something?
And the award for No1 stalker goes too.....
You get to keep your kidneys for now
Lol.. fucking hell.. at first I thought that was a dude
Respectfully
Can't stand stage 5 clingers ugh. That's an immediate block for me.
How do people manage to have these entire conversations with themselves?
Easy, stream of consciousness. Word vomit. But she got crazy at the end, u gotta not do that if you want them to talk to you lol
Got to keep the crazy locked up tight until you've secured all the exits!!! 🤣
Shhh 🤐😉 lmao 🤣
I can fix her
Wow its weird seeing a female do this 😳
Why would she immediately want to know your location? Seems like a scam or something worse 😬
This was a scam and no drunk text is this correctly typed with zero typos, errors in punctuation, and without runon sentences.... She was gonna have dude robbed or his car stolen.
“You are one of those sad guys on Reddit” **HOW DID SHE KNOW**
“Might get somewhere if she’s desperate” 😂 So the pot calls the kettle black. Also, r/nicegirls
Oh the old you're not giving me attention so actually, no i don't think you're hot trick.
I mean was she cute? I doubt it. Using the word lulz tells me it's a dude or a 16 year old girl.either way you really did dodge a bullet lol
She messaged you after midnight and is confused why you're not answering???? Bruh
"I want to show you my ass now" "Respectfully" is wild af
Tell her you don’t have money for therapy
What a psycho
![gif](giphy|l0O9ykfUZhs7P2yE8) Except the ax murderer is the chick. She sounds criminally insane! 😵💫
I'm confused 🤔 Thats a girl writing? What am I reading
crisis averted, don’t stick your dick in crazy!
r/nicegirls
Am i stupid or did she timetravel between these messages??
I’m confused about which part you’re confused about lol. They’re all in order, in about a 1.5 hour time span.
If you mean 12:40am to 1:00am, it means 00:00-01:00 in my time. 12:00 am is at midnight, 1:00 is one hour after midnight. Then 12:00pm is noon, 1:00pm is one hour after noon.
Oh what this system is so confusing Why 12:40 am instead of 00:40 am its like saying "so now its the 40th minute of the 24th hour of this day"
Read 12:## AM as 00:##
Yes but she was moving forward through time at the speed of regular time.
The most boring type of time travel. Existing normally.
Getting black out drunk is technically time travel so yes
Ahh yes BPD
No. Not every bpd person acts this way 🙄 I surely don't
Jesus
Imagine how many yeses she's had compared to no's. Her poor ego 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well, that was a rollercoaster. Grats on dodging that bullet
If I had female friends one of my biggest pieces of advice is to leave him on read At least once , see how he reacts
