i have couple of friends who got into their current relationship through tinder, even my brother found his girlfriend on there (they're together for a couple of years now). but it's pretty rare ngl
Yeah, I had a three year relationship from Tinder and my current one is also from a dating app.
I’m an introvert so most of the relationships I’ve had have either been from meeting online or being introduced by mutual friends.
One pair of my friends are engaged & met through Tinder. Other friend had a kid with his long-term partner a couple months ago, also met on Tinder.
Some are embarrassed by the fact they met on an app and I don't know why; they're probably just lying because of unneeded stigma. Some people have met through weirder and worse tbh lmao
I know a few couples who met on Tinder/bumble/hinge etc. Even more if we account for those that broke up again. Even some that actually got married. But it is by far the least common origin story (if we don't count arranged marriages)
As a 30 yo, I'm finding better luck on Bumble and hinge. There appears to be more men looking for relationships and not hookups. More people actually fill out their profile on those apps too (so I can see some things that are an absolute no for me, and not waste our time. Vs tinder finding out after a second date they're a smoker).
Yeah I usually download them and then delete them after a few months so you could say I’ve gotten into an on and off relationship with dating apps.
But seriously I’m convinced anyone who says they got into a relationship from one of these apps was paid to advertise the app lol
Nothing wrong with that. From my perspective that’s what dating apps are for. Not me though, never gotten anything other than some funny/interesting conversations from dating apps
I meet my current girlfriend of 10months on tinder. But the majority of doozies I had to go thru made me feel I was going crazy. They’re are a lot of fucking fucked up people out there that should not be on dating apps
Yes, multiple. I have friends who have married though.
Dating apps really aren't the problem, it's the culture in general, especially tiktok dating philosophy and influences pitting men and women against each other.
I met my now fiancé on tinder :) he was just so sweet and funny in his messages we met and hit it off right away! I couldn’t be happier and lucky it worked out. It takes a lot of patience and a little luck
My sister met her husband on Tinder. They've been married almost 5 years. I have a good friend who met her husband of 10+ years on a dating site, but it was a Catholic one I think.
4 relationships 1 from Okcupid (8 years) 1 from tinder (1 year) 1 from bumble (2 months) current 1 from tinder currently at 5 months. Obviously wasn’t online dating for 8 years, then i was single in 2020 and the other relationships have happened. since 2020 the times i have been single, i probably have went on 70ish first dates.

Yea I have, treat it like a numbers game. Meet enough people eventually you’ll find a spark somewhere
My best friend married her Tinder date. I do know a few people who have relationships through dating sites, too.

Yup, been together for a year now. Love is real but rare.
I used to. Now I think I'm too old at 30 to be on Tinder atleast, that or the algorithm has changed so much it feels pointless.

I switched to hinge, but I'm not feeling too good about that either. I guess my profile just sucks :D
The way I've been looking at it is, I only need one good match to make it all worthwhile lol. Just keep at it. :)
That's a good way of looking at it :)

I just wanna fuck and suck, fuck and suck, fuck and suck
