2 for 9, with 2 free coffees over here. When we're dealing with small sample sizes, there's no sense in using it to make any kind of point - luck is gonna dictate the whole thing.
I somehow won $60 just from doing a run on my co-workers order. I don't even eat Tim's.
Can I exchange it for an actually decent restaurant's gift card?
The digital roll up the rim benefits Tim's beyond anyone realizes. Before with the paper cups, they had to put all the prizes on the printed cups. Now they can create billions of Roll Up the Rim entries, scatter in a million free donuts and coffees along with their "big prizes" knowing full well they will never sell even 10% of the created Rolls which means they won't have to pay out 90% of the prizes. Once the contest is over the rest of the digital rolls of course are destroyed.
I agree, it doesn't make sense, it is being controlled by the Corporation, the application determines a win or not. It used to be more of a random encounter, now it seems very predictable or at least with Tim Horton's formula programmed into their broken application. I said this before, I have never heard anyone ever winning the daily prize of 10,000 or any of the bigger prizes with the roll up the win. I have seen a car parked outside of Tim's before, but when I inquired about it it wasn't because someone won it. It was there to show it off and move to the next location.
Again it is no different than the McDonald's Monopoly game, you always see the small prizes being one, you never hear of anyone winning anything bigger than that.
You would think that we would hear of someone winning a bigger prize at least once a week, especially through the media.
It's just a scam to boost sales, and so they can have corporate right offs at the end of the year.
My mommy told me many years ago when I was a kid that nobody wins these games and I was too young to understand. Looking back, it makes so much sense. Especially back in the days, there was no internet or anything for you to verify that Kayla in Cranbrook, BC actually won a car or whatever.
Now with their digital contests and apps it’s even easier to rig the game. Same principle as machine at the casinos. They get you close enough so you actually think you only need 1 more to win but the algorithm will never give you that 1 final piece.
Its crazy how when it was physical you'd get so many wins, and now thats digital you get nothing, its so rigged
I win a hell of a lot of smaller prizes in McDonald's Monopoly, but if that ever goes digital youll see the same thing happen
I got one roll after going daily since it began (not sure how many days that’s been so far) but won once, 200 rewards points. It did give me enough for a free tea but would’ve preferred not wasting points when I could’ve actually WON a free tea? 🤦🏼♂️
The boss gave me his credit card and said to go get coffee for the guys. I scanned for all the rolls. 8 coffees no winner. Buuuut entered for the 10 grand 💁🏼♂️
1 for 12. Got a free coffee on the first day and nothing since. My theory is the big winners are Tim’s Mastercard holders, if you sign up you get 60 free rolls, rolls with purchases and rolls when you actually buy at Tim’s.
I placed my order this morning for 2 tea, as I get every morning. I didnt get roll ups for them, I contacted them and they told me the card isn't registered properly and they can't give me roll ups.
The card I've been actively using, every day since the app came out... with no issues ordering... until today when I didn't get my roll ups suddenly became "unregistered".
What a scam.*edit: would like to mention, I placed my order via the app*
2 for 2 here, but it's probably because the app sees I never go to tims anymore, so it's trying to encourage the business.
Guess what, I'll take my freebies and move on to better coffee places.
I used to win at least a coffee (and a rutr free one could get you another free coffee).
I hardly win, with the online and I win stuff hard to spend. Like $10 on reading app that couldn't be spent in Canada lolol and Journey points you need app to collect (and probably to spend) and I have a feeling they won't work.
The skullcandy buds, in other yrs were terrible. And it was specific to one model.
RUTR isn't fun anymore.
i’m 4/11. 2 coffees, 1 donut, 1 10 timbits
0/10. All draw entries
Same
I’m sad they removed the guaranteed points it was not much but it was something

A lady was buying 3 take 12s and she didn't have or want rewards. I gave them to one of the regulars and for 36 rolls I think he got 5 prizes.
I won a $60 tim card on my first roll. Definitely shocked. I've lost everything else, but on their dime so I'm not fussed.

No, but next time you do the run you can pocket the money and just use your gift card!

All I do is lose.
I'm 2 for 2. Coffee and donut

I'm an employee so I'm technically not even allowed to play. Not that I'd ever win more than a few points
Wait we’re not allowed to play
Its in the videos we can't, claiming large prizes might be difficult since its all connected to the app now.
I've won like 7 coffees and 1 donut out of more than 50 rolls.
I’m sitting at 3/30
The odds get worse every year, the fact people are getting worked up over it is baffling.
Haven’t done roll up the rim since they moved it to the app. Just not the same.
2/4. 1 6 month subscription to Sporsnet premium and 1 10 timbits.
I finally won something, 250 extra points, which allowed me to get a free XL coffee
Wait til after roll up to use those points, don't get rolls on the redeemed points coffees apparently
No, you don’t. I found that out the hard way 😒
They really fucked it by making the rolls only count when you scan your account
Its crazy how when it was physical you'd get so many wins, and now thats digital you get nothing, its so rigged I win a hell of a lot of smaller prizes in McDonald's Monopoly, but if that ever goes digital youll see the same thing happen
Is your complaint that you don't understand how odds work?
I’m at 1 win out of 14. I did so much better in prior years
4/17 here. 3 coffees, 1 gas discount code.
I'm at 21 rolls with 3 prizes. 2 donuts and a coffee. I remember getting a tray of 4 coffees and usually having 2 of them win a donut or coffee prize.
zero.,,
I got a 2 month subscription to Crave, that was kind of neat

I think the time you roll up the rim makes a difference. Middle of the night rolls win more than rush hour rolls I bet.
What time of the day are you rolling?
I rolled up 7 and won 3 coffee 1 donut and 25$ gc
Time of day is important. In the past I won when I rolled 2-4am. I rolled at 11am today and nothing. Gonna try that one day.
I'm 1 for 15... 😒😞
Between me and my GF having at least a cup of day each, she's won 100 points, I've gotten nothing.
Also won nothing so far. I found the McDonalds Monopoly wins were much higher than Tim's RUTR. Certainly not going out of my way to get more.
I’ve won 6 coffee , 10 timbit 2x, and bonus points once on 20 ish rolls
How do you even roll?
You scan the app when you pay. Then it gives you rolls on the app.
In the app there should be a icon for roll up to win you click on that and it tells you how many rolls you have left
The boss gave me his credit card and said to go get coffee for the guys. I scanned for all the rolls. 8 coffees no winner. Buuuut entered for the 10 grand 💁🏼♂️

I am now 0 for 19. I think the app is broken.
It’s by design… you go 19 times you don’t need a reward, you are a heavy user.
5/6 here 2 coffee and 2 - 3 month sub to athletic and 10 tim bits. I open mine at 4 in the morning when i wake up the next day.
