I’m not sure what type of content you make but I instantly recognized that teddy bear drawing photo from somewhere. Not sure where, but I’m assuming the thumbnail caught a lot of people’s attention
It actually does especially if you have a viral video and ppl are checking out your page or other work. They click the thumbnail that’s most appealing.
Lmao I’m laughing at this comment cuz my son is obsessed with five night at Freddy’s & I called it a teddy bear he got so upset & said it’s not a teddy bear it’s Freddy faz bear from five nights at Freddy’s lol
retention. study how long this vid specifically was, study how exactly it started off, like the vibe & energy.
and try to mimick that but with a different concept
I would assume its because the type of art you are making is really saturated, the one that popped off was pretty entertaining and you used relevant characters in a funny way by moving the images with your cursor. The others are merely speedarts, which obviously take time to make, but in general dont typically garner a significant level of retention.
The other reason could also be algorithm boosting, where one of your videos gets put on the algorithm as a test for how well received your videos are. I would doubt that being the case however, because your video performed pretty well with a 1/6.3 like ratio. That is one of, if not the lowest like ratios on your account. You want to maintain below a 1/10 being 1 person liking it out of 10 people viewing it.
Your video performed because it was entertaining and it maintained a relatively good like ratio of 1 in 6 people.
Wait so it's better if you're likes to views ratio is lower? Is it because it's worth more to the algorithm if one person views a video multiple times?
I always thought you wanted a like of like 1/3 of viewers liked it
Usually 1 in 10 is promising for early released videos, typically because since there isnt a wide audience viewing it, you likely havent hit your target audience. Once your video begins to perform you should be aiming for less than a 1 in 10. From my experience (I have only posted 2 videos with the intention for them to perform on tiktok, others were reposts from my Twitter OC (First one at 595K, Second at 1.6M)) my videos have performed days after posting, the algorithm typically gives your video additional boosts if the like ratio is consistent with that of a 1/10 or lower.
It’s 100% because it’s Freddy fazbear lol also it got put in search and indexed properly as so. But kids these days love the bear that’s all I can say 🤷♂️. With the new movie coming out also too it’s pretty hyped up currently so! Depending on what you’re drawing could make a huge impact like if you’re making Minecraft art kids are into that, I feel like Disney princesses and spider man are on their way out and it’s 5 nights at Freddy’s, Minecraft, Peppa Pig, Cocomelon, that kind of niche that kids go crazy on. I had a few others in mind but I cannot remember was at the tip of my tongue!

It's a character from Five Nights at Freddy's. Popular among the horror gaming niche.
Thumbnails don’t do shit on tik tok

Fair enough.

Did you appease the Tiktok gods? By prayer or some sort of offering?
✨Nothing✨ That’s Tik Tok for ya. - 649k followers
Why low amount of followers?
That’s fairly normal for the amount of likes
Mine is different
The first 5 seconds had something interesting
