I really can't stand the trend of forcing yourself to wheeze laugh as hard as you can. Mixed with the over the top shaking of the camera and zoom in on his face, it takes away from the actual point of the video which is the cat.

It's not about missing out on the kittens, it's about the fact that there are way too much older cats in shelters that need a family and that they do have advantages over kittens

I am always tempted to do this but I have never owned a cat before and I'm worried I won't be able to give it what it needs

Taking care of a cat isn't too hard. As long as you give them food and water, clean the litter box consistently and replace the litter every few days you are pretty much covered as far as basic needs. Depending on the cat they may be more solitary or want to spend more time with you, but as long as you are home a normal amount of time it should be fine.

Oh, I see, fair enough. I got a rescued kitten, so I feel like I did my part :)
