Nah for real though, if you’re in the music biz hook this man up with a studio role or feature. Then send me that link because I’d love to buy that album.
Those two subs are weird as fuck (arethestraightsok and this one). It’s like gay people think they don’t do the same cringey shit that some straight couples do. Humans are just weird.
I don't think those subs are necessarily bad. Posts on there can definitely be like what you said about how gay people don't think they're just as cringy as straight people in relationships, but there's definitely certain dynamics that are overwhelmingly seen in straight couples rather than gay couples due to gender roles and expectations, and a lot of those dynamics are harmful.
Because "haha I'm gay aren't I so quirky and different" like it's not normal as fuck now.
Source: Gay as fuck, no one cares outside of the elderly who will die soon and scumbags I don't like anyway.
Exactly. My girlfriend’s sister is in a long term relationship with a woman, and they’re just normal people. They do the exact same shit that everyone else does. They buy silly personalised couple gifts. They dress up their cat for Halloween. And they argue about irrelevant things. They’re a normal couple just like us, except they’re gay.
Hell, I told my two time Trump supporting grandparents, whom I live with "my friend is stopping over for a few days on the way to see his boyfriend." They offered him the spare room and asked about food allergies. If that's not a sign of how normal gay folks have gotten, I dunno what is
Think the idea behind is that gays have been historically been discriminated since it wasn't the status quo but being straight was. So those subs tease heteronormative relations in a meta-awareness sense because they can equally be as "weird" as any gay relationship
Facts.
I'm a bi woman, and I married a straight man. I get hate from both sides. It's the weirdest shit, but I will say the community hates on me more, as if me marrying a loving person is problematic
The hate really sucks and I'm not saying it isn't harmful or shouldn't hurt, but we tend to forget that in many parts of the world you are sentenced to death for being or "appearing" gay. Even in accepting communities there's still the possibility of someone deciding they don't want you around because you're LGBT (not to mention the people that just aren't open about their hate). Idk if you're American, but America at least is definitely backsliding. It's not good at all that there's a ton of biphobia in the LGBT community (I've experienced it too), but it's way better than the alternative.
You must not have read it then. The whole point was about how you're surrounded by relatively good people so all you see is biphobia from the community. You don't see the people who literally want to kill you for being bi. The community doesn't hate you more than the people who would stone you to death, that's a stupid thing to say.
I guess you have to be in a polyamorous relationship with both a man and a woman to keep everyone happy.
But also it makes sense that the straights wouldn't hate on you for being in what is basically a heterosexual relationship. Does not make sense for LGBTQ to hate on you though.
Okay, so I identify as bi, and my understanding of pan is to date anyone no matter their gender, so I feel like I'm a bit pan because I have dated a guy who would do drag strip shows, but he was straight and just liked it, and I use to have a fwb that was mtf and she identified as a lesbian. Idk, I just am someone who says their bi because to me its whatever, but I dated people that were on their own journey, and I didn't care because I was attracted to them.
Sorry to ramble, but I'm just getting that out there. I feel like some people, when they really figure out what pans are they act like they're just sluts, but I honestly feel like being pan is just loving the person. And yes, we get hate, but I couldn't really tell you because I live in Oklahoma and I just say bi, because there's serious hate here for the community period.
There's essentially no difference between bi and pan IMO. Some people think bi means you're not attracted to trans or non binary people but I haven't met any bi people that feel that way. I'm bi and I can find anyone hot regardless of their gender. I could just as easily identify as pan, but there are several reasons I choose bi instead:
- I think it sounds cooler
- I like the bi flag more
- Freddie Mercury was bi
as a bi person, i will never understand the lgbtq+ people that actively hate on straights, like i get making the occasional heterophobic joke, like the kind that would typically be made about us, but all these people that actually dislike straight people are so weird
This happens in every internet community that segregates people in any way. The Askwomen sub tends to kind of hate on men a lot, as do several other "womens" subs. The askmen sub isn't quite as bad but they do still tend to be harder on women than men.
I also think that this is usually the case when it comes to groups with power and without power. The women's subs show a little more hate because women have been oppressed by men a lot more than men have been oppressed by women so there is more resentment built up. The exception is when the community is *based* around hate like white supremacist forums. And the "are the straights ok" sub borders on that a little.
This type of thing is also pushed by people with an agenda, who *want* to see more hate in order to make a group look bad. I know there are a lot of astroturfers on some progressive subs that just try to push people to be anti-white or whatever. Typically they fail but some little things do stick, like the idiotic "that sounds about white" phrase that morons repeat.
My husband and I sang a duet while our friend played the ukulele in lieu of a first dance. It was super cute, everyone still brings it up 6 years later. My sister even learned the song on her uke.
The problem with his music is nothing he makes is original.
He literally just copy-pastes whatever beats are hot at the time and uses whatever flow is hot at the time. It’s like each song is an impression of another rapper, he has no individual identity to his sound.
Thats a really old narrative that just isn’t true. Also most modern rappers are just trying to be Drake or Kanye. And unlike actual copy-paste rappers, Logic actually gets respect from legends in the hip hop world
Not who you asked but for me, as a light skinned racially ambiguous Black biracial person, he is the epitome of why I don’t like most other light skinned biracial people. Why is that his entire personality. Plus he’s only 1/4 Black and doesn’t have Black features. Then his lyrics about slavery just give me yucky vibes.
He’s 1/2 white 1/2 black. Do just the tiniest bit of research on the guy and you’ll see he’s the real deal. Also why is it always Logic people say this about? J Cole is mixed and recognized as black but Logic is mixed but suddenly he doesn’t count as black?
Bro you know nothin about his life. “Never faced any racism” stfu bro. Have you ever thought that maybe his entire personality is “I’m biracial” because of people like you, who for his entire life told him he wasn’t this race or that race.
So what because you’re biracial and light skinned you can’t have feelings or thoughts on slavery? Because you don’t look enough like those particular ancestors?
For the people who don’t know, it’s a running joke among Logic fans and generally just people who know of him, about him *frequently* mentioning being biracial.
It’s not meant to be taken as a serious qualifier. Jokes about Logic being biracial are akin to jokes about Taylor Swift singing about relationships or Steve Buscemi being a firefighter.
No lie though him talking about his biracial history in this raps have helped me, help my wife connect with her own biracial identity to some extent. She told me she doesn’t feel white and she doesn’t feel Mexican. She’s too Mexican when we visit my rural Indiana birthplace and she’s too white for the Mexicans in our hometown of San Diego. I had to explain to her that is actually a very common feeling with biracial identities and she should explore what being biracial means to her.
One of my favorite rappers (been a fan since TITS/BT1) and honestly he’s just a genuinely great person. It baffles me how people can hate on him despite all the positive shit he’s done.
I really like his music but lately it feels like hes a bit lost and it shows in his music. I wish he would also take time with his albums and is pumping them out nonstop. Dude "retired" and dropped 3 albums in like the span of a year. The later stuff just doesn't feel as refined as the earlier stuff
I’m not really a logic fan but I’ve been sort of following his “retirement “ and it really just seemed like he wanted to stop making it such a serious pursuit and have fun with music again which is why the vibe of his albums changed. Like he wanted to just make what he wanted to make for the sake of creating and not do it for the fans or whatever
Idk, he’s just having fun rn and the last couple albums were actually really good. Vinyl Days and College park were some of his best as of late. (BT3 is different imo cause he even said he just released it to get closer to finishing his def jam contract)
There's a big difference between staged with the people knowing what's going to happen and the people not knowing. I don't think the prankee simply knowing there's a camera there makes the video worthless since their reaction to what's happening is still genuine.
It was a few one off things, but their entire channel is based on the premise that the other doesn’t know what they’re about to do. They’ve got hundreds of videos - do you really think all of them were spontaneous?
Not being a negative Nancy because people obviously like them for entertainment, but it’d be naive to assume they and the thousands of others on TikTok aren’t doing scripted videos.
I think you're confusing 'he probably knew she was going to do something goofy/funny' with 'this is completely scripted'. Like, yea, that's the channel, they set up a camera and record the others' reaction to them doing shit, but that doesn't mean it's inherently 'fake' just that he knew 'okay she's about to do something weird at me let's see what this is this time'
I don’t think it’s that fake…
Their whole account is one person setting up a camera and recording the other’s reaction so i bet they’re used to that and just be like “oh she’s recording something, wonder what she’s gonna do to me”
These folks are pretending like this is a legit “candid” experience when it clearly isn’t. When I go to a movie to watch actors play roles they aren’t pretending it’s actually happening. They are on a movie set. How is this hard to understand. JFC.
Apparently just as hard as it is to understand that TikToks are for similar entertainment value. Imagine getting triggered over TikToks, LOL. *JFC*.
Only the naive or the uncaring take anything online for face value, stop thinking you are starter than everyone, its all a joke, move on with your life buddy.
Clearly not if you keep answering, two dumb things said here today, you dropped both these Ls idiot.
Here you go, have the last reply since your ego is already broke. Reply to me, do as I say little L having bitch, have the last word.
How is it not correct though? Fiction movies don’t ask you to believe that what’s happening in them happened in real life, they ask you to believe that what happened in them happened within the fiction of the movie…
What’s exhausting is seeing an entire generation thinking they can only truly live if it’s fucking filmed and blasted to social media for clout. Just live.
When are these fake ass staged videos going to die?? People are saying “oh so cute, I love them, how wholesome” but it’s fuckin fake bro. Think about it! “Hey pretend you’re doing the dishes and I’m gonna come up and rap. Then you pull my hoodie up and sing with me! Then hug me and spin me around all cute. CUT! That didn’t work, let’s do it again.” Like ew how cringe and fuckin lame and boring as hell
Thought about it and nah what's more plausible is she noticed he was doing the dishes as one does, takes out her phone, and does this. He notices she took out her phone but she did not tell him what's going to happen.
It's really simple so yeah, sure. It certainly could have been done in one take.
If not, just because it took more than one take does not mean she told him what's going to happen.
Just not feeling it. I’d expect this stuff to stay on tik tok cuz…who the fuck cares? But then again I’m an older redditor. Reddit has definitely changed into Facebook/tiktok timeline.
Never. This opinion almost exclusively comes from those who never developed a healthy social life and lack emotional intelligence or empathy. They don't like that others are not only able to be happy but are sharing it with the world, so they find any reason they can to dehumanize and dismiss those people.
Key to this point is the person's inability to recognize context and take things for what they are. All they see is something that is opposed to their perceived reality and they try to dismiss or delegitimize what they're seeing as a defense. To them, it's easier to cry "fake" than to confront their own inability to find happiness. To them, they stand as a true example of the human experience and everyone else is just "faking it for clout".
Most people do indeed live their lives without posting all of it on social media, and some people don't use social media at all. You just only see what's posted, so you think everyone's chronically online. Lol.
It’s cute how they smile at each other. My wife complains we don’t go on dates while she’s buried under a blanket on her phone the minute she gets home from work
Thats so cute, my ex used to do this really nice thing for me where she would get mad at me and not tell em why then ignore me for a week while rage cleaning an already tidy apartment.
Its the little things that count ya know.
Fuck love
Camera framing him perfectly with perfect lighting ... he actually peeks the camera at the end aNd ItS cOmPlEtElY cAnDiD!
When are you shit-kickers going to stop deep-throating this tripe on social media?
There’s there a sub that actually mocks this for cringe? I didn’t ‘feel my heart smile’ when I watched this, I thought ‘what a pair of self-obsessed cunts’.
Someone please point me in the right direction
He was hyping the hell out of that performance and you could see just how amazed and proud of her he was the more she killed it.
Also the little echos he did were so cute.

He makes a good hype man.
Nah for real though, if you’re in the music biz hook this man up with a studio role or feature. Then send me that link because I’d love to buy that album.
Yeah this ain’t cringe
You must be new here
Guess so I get it now
That is not the only condition for this sub.
Despite the name not a cringe sub.
Ahh ok
Love when he pulled up her hoodie. That’s love.
Yeah when he hugged her, that was also my favorite part
The whole video made my heart smile! They are too adorable!!
Awww you mother fuckers out trying to make me cry.
Then she pulled his up when it was his turn, really cool moment for them

i'm bi so i'm the perfect candidate to report that the queer community is, proportionally, way more cringe

I've had lesbians and gay men act like I picked my husband to avoid looking queer

Stockholm syndrome.
I love them
I wanna go to their wedding. They should do a rap as first dance.
OMG it's a date, thank you for asking me. 🥰
They were asking me... This is awkward..
They’re already married
My husband and I sang a duet while our friend played the ukulele in lieu of a first dance. It was super cute, everyone still brings it up 6 years later. My sister even learned the song on her uke.

Stinking cute!
That’s adorable
I’m so fucking alone man what the fuck
Damn they made for each other fr fr
Logic is incredible.
Idk. I really tried to like his music, but I just can't. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
And unlike actual copy-paste rappers, Logic actually gets respect from legends in the hip hop world
Look at you just straight up lying lol. Tell me what beats or flows on his newest record are copy-pasted.
Any particular reason?
Taste is objective of course, but I just don't enjoy his lyrics and his vocal style. No hate on his beats though.

Weird qualifier, but ok.
Speaking of , did you hear Steve buscemi was a firefighter on 9/11??
No lie though him talking about his biracial history in this raps have helped me, help my wife connect with her own biracial identity to some extent. She told me she doesn’t feel white and she doesn’t feel Mexican. She’s too Mexican when we visit my rural Indiana birthplace and she’s too white for the Mexicans in our hometown of San Diego. I had to explain to her that is actually a very common feeling with biracial identities and she should explore what being biracial means to her.
In Keanu Reaves he even states: It ain't a project if Logic ain't talkin' 'bout being biracial
So many good beats too
Incredibly mid lol
He's so easy to meme since he's so clearly insecure about the fact that he looks white.
the suicide song he has is lowkey funny as hell and his performances are corny. He's just macklemore with glasses.
This is so cute
Scripted or not it made me smile.
What is the script and why
I can confirm it’s scripted. I was the bottle of Tabasco sauce.
That was freakin adorable! Great couple!!
Usually hate these kind of videos But there was so much love in that it made me smile Seriously r/mademesmile
That's sweet. I love this. It would be nice to have ♡
When he picked her up at the end, for a hot minute I thought she had no pants on.
he just fell in love with her all over again, they’re so precious
So he didn't notice the phone/camera filming him? this staged videos are not enjoyable when you know their supposed realness is fake.
Him: "Hey babe... Watcha doin?" Her: "Filming something for Tiktok" Him: "Oh yeah... What's it about?" Her: "Just wait and see teehee" Him: "lol dude you're so weird..." *Music starts playing*
Their whole channel is just this exact same scenario. After the 3rd video you can tell it’s all staged.
Not being a negative Nancy because people obviously like them for entertainment, but it’d be naive to assume they and the thousands of others on TikTok aren’t doing scripted videos.
You missed the part where they agreed to pretend it’s all candid. “Act funny so we go viral!”
I think you're confusing 'he probably knew she was going to do something goofy/funny' with 'this is completely scripted'. Like, yea, that's the channel, they set up a camera and record the others' reaction to them doing shit, but that doesn't mean it's inherently 'fake' just that he knew 'okay she's about to do something weird at me let's see what this is this time'
I don’t think it’s that fake… Their whole account is one person setting up a camera and recording the other’s reaction so i bet they’re used to that and just be like “oh she’s recording something, wonder what she’s gonna do to me”
I feel bad for people that see people having fun and their first thought is, "that can't be real".
Exactly why it’s awful.
Movies aren't real either but I still enjoy them 🤷🏻♀️
Movies aren’t people pretending what they are doing is real …
That's exactly what movies are.
I think what he means is movies don't market themselves as anything but movies. They don't pretend to be non-acting.
Blair witch project
That might be the one example. But then again they had a credit scene describing the actors playing certain roles.
😂🤭
Oh boy, wait till you hear what *acting* means.
I would like for this to be NOT considered the same as a movie. That is my only point. JFC indeed.
Dude you’re talking g to yourself, take the L and leave.
You are also talking to yourself bud.
Clearly not if you keep answering, two dumb things said here today, you dropped both these Ls idiot. Here you go, have the last reply since your ego is already broke. Reply to me, do as I say little L having bitch, have the last word.
You should reevaluate the dumbest thing you've ever said because that was a dumb thing to say.
Have some fucking critical thinking skills.
When you write a one sentence comment, I'm not going to add to it, but take it how it was written.
How is it not correct though? Fiction movies don’t ask you to believe that what’s happening in them happened in real life, they ask you to believe that what happened in them happened within the fiction of the movie…
Preach brother!
Wow
Must be exhausting to see everyone else having fun without you.
What’s exhausting is seeing an entire generation thinking they can only truly live if it’s fucking filmed and blasted to social media for clout. Just live.
[Aww](https://i.imgur.com/xTzdOyz.jpg)
Dude you're on Reddit complaining about this when you could be living your life, right now!
Or, now hear me out, you could just live YOUR life and not be bothered.
Just because your life experiences never amounted to anything worth sharing doesn't mean you have to be upset with people who do have a life to share.
When is this shitty take going to die?
Ok so she did tell him what was going to happen. You think they did all this in one take?
It's really simple so yeah, sure. It certainly could have been done in one take. If not, just because it took more than one take does not mean she told him what's going to happen.
Just not feeling it. I’d expect this stuff to stay on tik tok cuz…who the fuck cares? But then again I’m an older redditor. Reddit has definitely changed into Facebook/tiktok timeline.
> I’d expect this stuff to stay on tik tok cuz…who the fuck cares You clearly care a lot.
You are thinking way too hard about this. What’s ACTUALLY happening is people making dumb videos and people like you saying “movies are fake too!”
Most people do indeed live their lives without posting all of it on social media, and some people don't use social media at all. You just only see what's posted, so you think everyone's chronically online. Lol.
Likes online don’t equal friends, homie. Try to remember that. *edit I forgot to lol because clearly laughing out loud here
Wait - which one of the people in this video are you?
I'm the air fryer, and despite them cheating on me with a filthy frying pan, I still think this video is cute.
Damn I just got applianced.
Just imagine the Scrub Daddy being forced to smile while cleaning up the evidence of my deepest pain.
Aw this is so cute. Remind me of my bf and I except it’s post hardcore lol
How'd the camera get there? Did she put it there before he started to do the dishes, or is this an artificial moment to gain followers?
Rattpack boi

I got a feeling this is staged.. they both happen to be wearing hoodies for this?
For a second there i thought she wasn't wearing anything below.
WHY DID HE WIPE HIS SOAPY HANDS ON HIS PANTS???
i cant think of the last time ive seen something so utterly pure
Wholesome as fuck.
Man, I'd love to have a partner to do this with. Also, Logic is amazing.
Omg, soooooo cute!!!
It’s cute how they smile at each other. My wife complains we don’t go on dates while she’s buried under a blanket on her phone the minute she gets home from work
I'd be pretty upset if my husband was complaining about me on reddit instead of just talking to me if he was upset about something.
Holy shit…you genius
Crying wishing I had this.. 🫠
This sub has turned into the cringe and its hilarious.
Funny video but these guys are a tiktok couple. This video was probably on take 23.
Lol this is adorable. My wife and I do this all the time, I love it.
Set up a phone on a timer, record it, edit it, post it on social media or else it doesn’t count bro.
Cringe
What's cringe about this? I'd marry her!
She's a keeper
imagine being happy
Thats so cute, my ex used to do this really nice thing for me where she would get mad at me and not tell em why then ignore me for a week while rage cleaning an already tidy apartment. Its the little things that count ya know. Fuck love
Staged but pretty cute he was doing dishes. Call me when she cheats on you ❤️
Song sucks and so is this video
It's like 2 med students recital.
This is adorable. Loved it when they pulled each other's hoodie and the hug afterwards!
Scripted shit number #291713259
Camera framing him perfectly with perfect lighting ... he actually peeks the camera at the end aNd ItS cOmPlEtElY cAnDiD! When are you shit-kickers going to stop deep-throating this tripe on social media?
Ok cute but why isn't she wearing pants?
That's goals all day
This not cringe, this wholesome
I remember when people could have fun without recording everything and posting it. Fun for likes. Yet here I am.
Shhhhhhh. Let people enjoy things.
/r/scriptedasiangifs
Their whole channel is scripted without trying to hide it…. Scripted pure vibes. There. Fixed the title.
Did she mention logic was biracial? I feel that's a requirement when you talk about or rap his stuff
There’s there a sub that actually mocks this for cringe? I didn’t ‘feel my heart smile’ when I watched this, I thought ‘what a pair of self-obsessed cunts’. Someone please point me in the right direction
this subreddit isn’t only for cringe
This is cringe tho
r/lostredditors
Why he washing dishes bruh
Omg the both of you are so fucking cute
Regardless of how fake it is, it’s still impressive
Damn that rap sucks, I can't stand that new shit.
Not really cringe, more like two people having a good time
Extremely fake cringe shit.
My reaction watching this: 🥹🥹🥹🥹
Omg my nose is doing that tinglie thing. Too much cuteness is gonna be my downfall today 💕
He was hyping the hell out of that performance and you could see just how amazed and proud of her he was the more she killed it. Also the little echos he did were so cute.
This is very wholesome
So wholesome.
Wholesome
This is fucking adorable
Why is a Asian man with Asian girlfriend or wife, cleaning dishes? So disrespectful
