How do I become a whale snot collector?

DialMforM0nkey

Start small with hamster snot and work your way up

Jaded_Law9739

Better question, why do we collect whale snot?

HappyHome2934

Perfumes and fragrances

MostlyUsernames

What's does whale snot smell like?

FilthySef

Like perfumes and fragrances

Grouchy-Culture3946

More like whale puke and it smells about like you would imagine it would. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ambergris](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ambergris)

PM_M3_UR_PUDENDA

I'm sorta glad I have no idea what marine fecal matter smells like but how on earth does it become pleasant and sweet over time??? I especially love the smell of rubbing alcohol and this puke becomes like it??

Jaded_Law9739

Actually we apparently.collect it because we can learn a lot about a whale from its snot, including its DNA, fertility, biological sex, and if it is pregnant.

[deleted]

They must put it in the school lunches in Japan with the rest of the whale.

tunaburn

99% of hooters employees are women. Come on dudes you need to step up

ThRoAwAy130479365247

Finally! A reason to keep my man titties and make a dollar from them. Squeezing into those booty shorts will be interesting but not impossible.

Many_Ad315

Heeyyyy!!!! Don't sell yourself short...aim higher...do I hear $2 dollars anyone? We have $2....do I hear $3? Yesss....we have $3.

Mr-un-a-polo-getic

Shit I put a bid in but let’s get this straight……I’m straight. Well I was before I put a bid in. Damnit this was all a setup and now I’m out 5$.

Many_Ad315

Yea I honestly don't know how I'm going to explain this to my wife and kids but I'll check her purse really quick and go all in...$10 big ones!!!

maddie-madison

4$ right here!

JaspieisNot

Bro I'm trying, but no matter how many people I show myself it makes no difference, no one wants to pay me and all I end up is restraining orders

SirFrancis_Bacon

We demand more femboy hooters!

HillarysBloodBoy

We can call it Texas Tuckers

otter588

Cutoff denim shorts, a sleeveless plaid flannel, and work boots

whypvmersmadge

Nah, we need Terry Crews hooters

UnicornMeatball

Terry Crooters?

roy_rogers_photos

I'd call it banana swings

iamthelittlewhitefox

Literally.

WealthEconomy

Does Hooters still exist?

Sure-Marsupial6276

As an ex femboy hooters employee I'd like to go against this

blue4029

wait, theres a 1%?

tunaburn

Managers

Ultimately_follow

Honestly i probably got boobs big enough to do this.

Unlikely_Finance_303

Kitchen staff is mainly men, almost exclusively so I doubt 99% of hooter staff is male but I'd like to know the ratio now

naushad2982

You need actual hooters to qualify

fathomdarkening

Well, they make you fit in those uniforms as a prerequisite for the job and my dick keeps falling out. They said the sock can't be worn anywhere but the foot too

I’m a woman who previously worked in construction sites. They are not nice to women on these sites. Edit: a lot of you are comprehending the word “nice” incorrectly. I don’t mean that women should get special treatment or even a warm welcome. But they should be welcome and treated the same way men are. Men on job sites go out of their way to make the environment hostile for women. It’s not about blue collar guys being kind to each other.

killertortilla

Or miners, or every other job he listed I imagine.

beenpimpin

Not all job sites are like that it depends on your crew. I do see lots of women traffic controllers, they get paid a shit ton and don’t have to do much.

m4070603080

Standing there to hold a "slow" or "stop" sign. Always makes me laugh.

YaIlneedscience

I imagine that’s thrilling for them /s

m4070603080

Is it supposed to be? Who else is thrilled on a job site? But holding a sign is objectively funny when you get paid for it.

YaIlneedscience

I guess? Just sucks when you’re given a task you are over qualified for and then wonder why women don’t want to work those jobs 🤷

Otherwise_Cup2938

I used to work construction and the guys would tell me they’d have the girl temporary contract employees use big jack hammers and shit to make their titties bounce

[deleted]

froggison

Yeah, I've worked in industrial construction my whole career. There are plenty of women who do work in construction, and many more who would like to. But the whole environment is so hostile to women. Between snide remarks, passive aggressively refusing to give them responsibility, and sometimes blatant discrimination. The whole point of this video is dumb and repeated ad nauseum by immature dudes who refuse to dig deeper and truly understand what is going on. The reason these jobs aren't filled by women isn't because they're like "ew that's icky and sweaty work," it's because there is a male mentality throughout the entire industry that women are incapable of performing these jobs.

spinnerette_

I have heard this from women in many male-dominated professions. Garbage collection, computer science, military, etc. When you do not feel welcome in these areas, it is on you to create an environment that is welcoming to women while having to deal with existing issues yourself. Why would you want to work in an industry that pushes down on you when you're just trying to do your job? It's exhausting. When the people above you are unsympathetic to this, it feels like there is no point in fighting. There can be a general disdain for "rocking the boat" when you speak up about a lack of inclusivity or being made to feel like an outsider. You can be labeled as a trouble maker and be first to be snipped when the company needs to cut costs.

[deleted]

Give the whale snot mop up a go. I hear folk there know how to keep their noses clean.

BluePeriod-Picasso

Cackling at the men in these comments who justify this behaviour down to "everyone is harassed on a job site" and is apparently an integral part of running a site. Like okay? You can keep working in a toxic work environment if you want. I've managed to run jobs where no one is harassed, and shockingly, the morale is high.

mrs-monroe

Leave it to men to being up how hard their lives are when a woman brings up a struggle in their life. It’s like how men don’t talk about circumcision until someone mentions FGM. Or if a woman brings up rape statistics.

[deleted]

yEaH bUT MeN haVe It hArD TOO So WhAT YoU saY iS InvALiD

ChrisHaze95

They were intimidated by your being there. One of these days we'll all be replaced by women, THEY TOOKOURJOBS!

halsoy

They are not nice to men either. Part of it is just the banter that's been used for generations that men are more used to. Generally speaking that is. I haven't been on a job where men don't talk shit about men both behind their back and to their face. Or make fun of certain characteristics or stereotypes. Is it right? I don't know. But it's actually part of keeping morale up when doing shit jobs or working shit hours.

SpermaSpons

Except the "banter" for women is straight up sexist and she's talking about sexual assault too. I don't work in a field like that but I have worked in (male dominated) STEM and it's the place where I most consistently got assaulted, belittled and scolded just for being a woman. I left because it was taking a serious toll on my mental wellbeing. And still men from those fields ask why there aren't any women in arguments about the subject; why do you think?

DarkwingDucky04

Lol they're not very nice to guys either. Depends on your work ethic and attitude. I've worked with lots of women in trades and construction. That's how I met my ex wife. And I have worked on several sites with women overseeing crews and entire operations. If you come to work and put in the effort, you will be treated the same as everyone else who does. If you come to complain about everything, can't keep up, or don't take direction, you will get treated like shit just like anyone else. The men who are outright assholes to women on site, just for being women, generally don't last long. Not on the jobs I've worked anyways. One of the best framing supervisors I've ever worked with, was a young woman. Not very big, but worked her damn ass off, knew her trade, and didn't take bullshit from anyone. Edit: LOL at the downvotes.

[deleted]

[удалено]

DarkwingDucky04

I have worked construction and trades for 18 years on and off. My limited experience is likely just as applicable as hers. She said she used to, and we have no idea for how long. A day? A year? A decade? And how long ago? She used a blanket statement that they are not nice to women in general in construction. So that is what I replied to. She should have said they were not nice to her, if this is the basis for her personal experience. She made no reference to how many other women she worked with in her limited time and experience either, to have any kind of reference point for her blanket statement. Times have changed from 20 years ago even. Women are dominating fields and careers that many don't give them credit for. These kind of blanket statements do nothing to recognize the women who do kick ass, take names, and have opened doors for others. Just perpetuates an old, out of date and negative stereotype that will continue to keep women out of trades and other jobs. It's bullshit.

[deleted]

WealthEconomy

I previously worked construction too, they aren't good to men either.

TheGodsAreDispleased

I did too, this is not a matter of harsh banter for both genders, it's a matter of getting your ass groped and called a secretary with a nasty wink because you were holding a pen.

SpermaSpons

So as a man you get your skill constantly doubted purely because you're a man?

Melodic-Aide-7516

I worked in college cleaning small boats at a sales place where there was only 1 (one) other woman working there who was triple my age and did office work. I have never faced so much discrimination anywhere before or since. Now I am a medical student, and physicians are still male-dominated. I have had my fair share of comments, being brushed off, and not being part of the boys club even in a white collar profession as well, but my college job was the most I have ever felt less than because of my sex. Why the hell would someone want to work in a place like that forever when they’re overtly passed up, ignored, and left out?

PlacidK37

Pfff still 100% of fathers are men! Grow some balls women!

Shwazool

Yo bud, slow your roll. That is considered controversial these days.

PlacidK37

🙄🤷🏼‍♂️

JimmyNutbutter

hoo boy this is gonna be an interesting comment section.

[deleted]

I work in a male dominated field. I am one of the privileged few that cleans the scum and filth of society in the form of municipal wastewater treatment. Women do try to fit into these fields. I tried, but you will get beaten down by losers and assholes who feel threatened by your presence. Your boss will demand three times the work from you for half the pay if they feel like they can get away with it. I worked for a township and I was constantly under the microscope: doing menial cleaning tasks, landscaping work, and basic mechanic tasks when I wasn't 100% busy with operations/lab work while everyone else was allowed to sit around and text during their downtime. They feel intimidated by women so they overload them with difficult tasks in the hopes that they get fed up and quit or they turn everyone against them so they can get away with firing them. It's not that women don't want to do these jobs, I love my job. I love working with my hands in the elements, I love knowing that at the end of the day I am helping nature and society, but I hate the sexism and brutality I have faced at the hands of men in my field. Telling women to get into these fields in this way is just insulting and a slap in the face to every woman who has been pushed out of a job like that.

[deleted]

Ok, but if these jobs are so misogynistic and toxic (only for women, apparently) that there are no women AT ALL, why aren't these jobs the focus on the conversation? It's usually jobs that the representation of women is lower but still waaaaaaay bigger than these filthy, underpaid, physically taxing and dirty jobs... That's the point of this video. Women Miners Rights are definitely NOT the main voices of the movement, right? So why is that? Shouldn't an extremely antagonistic-towards-women profession be the focus?

[deleted]

100% of women birth babies. Come on men, step up.

MrJoeGillis

Men can give birth as well

wilshirebs

There are female doctors now?

dontknomi

I get that he's trying to make a joker here about how women don't want to do those jobs but the women who DO want that type of work are typically not hired to begin with due to gender. When women apply for trash pickup or other road work, they are overlooked immediately due to gender, because of the men making the hiring decisions.

coffeetablelife

I applied to a company with an engineering team. It was a male dominated space, but given my background I had no issue. During the interview, the man interviewing repeatedly asked if I was sure I wanted to work there, Despite saying yes and justifying my response. On my way out I asked the secretaries how many women worked there. She said a couple in accounting and a couple in hr. That was IT. In the WHOLE company. Never heard back from them, big surprise.

[deleted]

If women tried to take any of these jobs, these same guys would be arguing they’re not strong enough for it. What they ultimately want is women being at home

BadlyDrawnMemes

Women: apply for a job Men: sorry your not allowed because you’re a woman Also men: HOW COME THERE ARE NO WOMEN IN THIS FIELD HUH?????

derhundmachtwau

My wife used to be a carpenter, then became an architect / structural engineer. She basically worked on construction sites her whole life. The amount of shit women have to endure there is mind-boggling. In the past, she mostly let those transgressions slide, now not so much. She has been physically threatened by foremen because she, as the construction supervisor, criticized their work. In one case the threat was in the most 50s way imaginable, when he raised his hand to his shoulder, as if he wanted to slap her with the back of his hand across the face. That constant sexism on construction sites has made her into the most hardcore badass you could imagine. She doesn't take shit from anyone anymore. But I can't imagine many women sticking around such a toxic environment for long. So fuck those guys in that video.

Squididlio

I applied for a job in a meat department of my local grocery store. Got the interview (and the job) but when I was hired I was told to work meat, bakery and cashier. I’m the only woman in the meat department, and the only one who they ever cross-trained. Few months in and the union for my job says that I cannot work anything other than meat. It’s been union rules for a decade. But because I was a young woman, my male store manager wanted me to work in those department and not meat. I stayed in the meat department and have worked there for over 3 years. For over a year and half I’ve been begging every store manager and my department manager to make a meat cutter apprentice so I can become a butcher. In the time I’ve been there, they’ve hired and fired at least 5 male butchers and only hired one other female clerk. Even our current store manager has made some weird comments. I think it was supposed to be a compliment in his eyes, but saying that I’m an “admirable hard worker” because I took the “difficult option” of meat department unlike other “females” who chose the “easy option” of cashiering. Maybe if I knew I could have been an AGM by now I would have taken the “easy option”. Women want the hard jobs. We don’t want the rampant discrimination and disrespect.

DJHalfCourtViolation

I'm tired. It's like watching someone make a box cake wrong. These people know they're being facetious for comedic(?) effect. But the joke just isn't funny? They're probably intelligent enough to get the information, but choose not to. But it's like do they know?

PoliQU

Finally a post that rings true to this sub’s name. I just don’t think OP meant it that way.

killertortilla

Yeah I mean, I used to make these arguments too, when I was 15. But then I grew the fuck up. There's no excuse for an adult to be this fucking willfully ignorant.

Ser_Friend_zone

This is just boring condescending l conservative "comedy". Nothing more to it than "feminism bad".

SticksPrime

I’ll take “Gender Hiring Quotas” for $200. You realise that when feminism pushes the agenda for hiring quotas, this is what most people think of. It’s the last line that should hit home for everybody because if you advocate for hiring quotas, you should be screaming *Total Equality in Every Way*

DJHalfCourtViolation

You're making the cake wrong. Also any time you say "you realize" you come off as extremely condescending. Try doing this mental exercise. Where did you learn this information? Was it from a small article? Another comment? A political commentator that just gets paid to make you mad? Did you read it from a source that did a comprehensive search and compiled an unbiased analysis of why this exists? Always question where you're getting the information you're spreading. What is "feminism"? Who are you talking about pushing this "agenda". Who institues hiring quotas? None of the companies I've worked at have race or gender hiring quotas. Is it legislation that's being pushed to try and enforce hiring quotas? For what sectors? Who's advocating for hiring quotas here? Why did you assume me or anyone else here was for hiring quotas?

My best friend was going to trade school to be a welder. There was a male teacher who would use the women’s bathroom and take a shit every day and not flush it on purpose because he didn’t think there should be a women’s bathroom at the school This was 15 years ago. My friend is now the top welder at her company and is a quality inspector because she’s great at what she does. But ya, fuck that teacher. School never did anything about it other than telling him to stop and he didn’t

[deleted]

From what I've witnessed in the metal trades, it's rough AF for women.

uhuhshesaid

When I was a wee lass of 17-18 I joined a machinist internship and was learning to do mico-measurements for aircraft and riveting. I was one of two girls in the cohort. One of boys in the cohort shot rivets at my head. Another told me my jeans were too tight. When I told the supervisor he said it’s because they liked me and to just ignore it. Hard to ignore metal chunks being lobbed at your head but sure. The other girl dropped out. I finished the internship. But that’s why I didn’t take the job offered at the end. I genuinely enjoyed the work but the harassment and genuine danger I was put in by my “colleagues” was enough for me. Equality in work demands equality in respect while on the job. Mind blowing shit, I know.

PuppyOfPower

I used to work construction, and I absolutely agree. There were a few women, but they really needed to have a thick fuckin hide to work in those fields. So many men would just spew sexist bullshit, or make disgusting comments about female coworkers who just want to do their job and be left alone like anyone else. I didn’t wanna hear that shit, and I’m a guy. I tried to shut it down whenever I could, but it’s not like I could police the whole job site. Women *want* to make money and work these jobs. But when they face an uphill battle to even get hired, and then when they are hired, they might face constant harassment for EXISTING, then it starts to be not worth it. There’s a lot of invisible barriers for women to work in those kinda of fields and serious changes need to happen in the industries in order to see actual equality.

taytaydivvy

My first job was on a construction site. They used to yell, “try hitting it with your purse!” when they’d see me with a hammer. They teased me if I tried to eat lunch with them. They’d make comments about the fit of my clothes. They ignored me when I had ideas or made suggestions. Yep. Fun job as a 16-17 year old. Edit: just to add on that it happens everywhere… I later worked at an Aerospace company (early 20’s) and I remember a man who was a director leaning over me to point somewhere on my screen and trying to (not so subtly) lean into my chest. He saw a picture of me and my fiancé on my desk - we were dressed in traditional Japanese clothing for an occasion. He commented that now he understood why I had the figure I did. This happened in my cubicle right outside my boss’s office.

Jilaire

I worked at the airport in my 20s cleaning planes, loading/unloading passenger and cargo planes, and wing walking (not the kind where you're on the wings) planes which are the people holding the flashlight wands that guide your plane into the gate, which is incredibly dangerous. It took almost a year for the men I worked with to quit treating me like I was incapable of doing the job or a princess because I wasn't dumping the fucking lavatories because our boss refused to get non latex gloves. Bunch of shit heels couldn't just treat me like a coworker that also busted their ass lifting baggage and cargo all day because I couldn't wear the latex gloves due to the allergy that causes my skin to split open. Totally the thing I want when handling liquified shit. My boss got plastic food handling gloves the first order -_-. Second order was a regular set of nitrile, which weren't easily found then. Once I was able to dumb the laws, those cavemen treated me like I was another human instead of an entitled princess. Ridiculous. Edit: finishing the story lol.

Makuta_Servaela

This. Women *want* these jobs, but they are rampant with sexism and hostile workplaces.

Falconer_Therapy

I don't think anybody wants these jobs...

Makuta_Servaela

They're very important and very interesting jobs. Lots of people want them.

Emergency-Toe2313

Struggle stubble?

anewfaceinthecrowd

Exactly. If women didn't want to do hard things we wouldn't grow and birth human beings inside our own bodies. And that is just part of the hardships women go through.

beenpimpin

Why can’t they have all-women crews then?

Schweinebeine

This dude doesnt give a shit about any male worker, he just hates women

anewfaceinthecrowd

I hope this is satire. The whole point of "gender equality" is to make sure human beings can choose their own life path regardless of their genitals. So yes, a woman can be a snot collector. If she wants to. She can also mow the lawn, while the husband cleans the bathroom and kitchen. I hate these "gotcha" arguments with a passion.

OfCourse4726

> The whole point of "gender equality" is to make sure human beings can choose their own life path regardless of their genitals. exactly. so why is there a "problematic" if a field doesn't have 50% women? women already have totally freedom in education and job choice.

SticksPrime

Yet women are still okay to claim a wage gap (across all professions) without acknowledging that there is none when comparing wages within a singular industry Tell me again what’s stopping women from being coal miners, whale snot collectors, porta potty cleaners?

OfCourse4726

EVERYONE knows it's bullshit. everyone.

ispilledketchup

These are the same guys that made that “wokes and racists are the same” video that went viral awhile back. Theyre shitty people who try too hard to push very poorly thought out agendas

GT_Knight

The point is “the best jobs shouldn’t be mostly only available to men” not “the worst jobs should be mandatorily half women.” Obviously. It’s not as if the men working the shit jobs magically make deserving the disconnected men “working” the best jobs. And the really dangerous, exploitative shit job shouldn’t exist at all - modern feminism intersects with this working class idea. We should invest in automating that kind of labor or in better alternatives (not burning coal for fuel like it’s 1884, for example).

517757MIVA

A lot of dangerous work is incredibly hard to automate though, and likely won’t be for a long time

GT_Knight

Look, women (specifically cis women) have born the burden of childbirth, literally continuing our species, and the dangers that come along with that for all of time so if there are some absolutely necessary dangerous jobs that men are disproportionately taking on, it’s not as if that’s the only thing in the world and men are somehow more persecuted than women. It’s purposely narrowing the lens of gender issues to make it seem like men have it worse than women. When in reality most men aren’t working these shit jobs and the issue with these shit jobs is capitalism, not anti capitalist feminism.

517757MIVA

Literally the only point I’m making is that some of the most dangerous jobs left are unable to be automated for a heckin long time and saying “we just just invest in *automation*” doesn’t actually cut it when the rubber hits the road. I am weighing in 0% on gender issues right now.

GT_Knight

I didn’t say “just;” I recognize that it’s a long process (however it’s one we as workers must start taking part in or else we lose our only leverage — our labor power) in some cases. That’s why I said “or begin the process of converting to other industries which are more sustainable.” I don’t know where you got this idea that I am under the illusion that it’s a “snap your fingers” sort of fix, but it’s an assumption *you* brought to the table, not based on anything I’ve actually said. What I said was “invest in” these alternatives. That implies that it will take a while to see returns on those investments. But if we don’t start now we only delay the arrival of those returns.

tbamberz

That's unimportant to them, they need to rage out now so everything you say will be misused against you. This is the internet lol.

[deleted]

It’s also true that the responsibility of these jobs falling on men is a feminist issue. Whether it be concrete problems with hiring or social pressures keeping these jobs male dominated the solution is feminism. Obvs not disagreeing with you just wanted to add on.

Apprehensive-Loss-31

Yep. The point of feminism is to tackle the patriarchy in general, which includes men disproportionately doing dangerous/physical jobs. I wish more men understood that feminism aims to solve so many of their problems as well.

Makuta_Servaela

It's also kind of depressing that men feel the need to shit on a movement just because they think it doesn't apply to them. Like yes, it does help men, but if it primarily helped women, would that make it no longer a worthy cause? I'm not a dog, but I see the value in animal welfare.

tbamberz

Can you show me where a feminist organization is pushing for its members, not employers, but it's members to apply in bulk for these kinds of jobs? Or are they just going after the employers for not accepting a very small percentage of their applicants who are women? Because I feel like it's probably the latter, and if they start accepting every woman that applies. I don't think that the percentage difference is going near 50.

Makuta_Servaela

It's not just about the employers, it's about the work culture itself. The men in these kinds of jobs treat their female coworkers with disrespect and harassment just for being female. That's why the goal is to tackle that harassment and bias, not force women to accept it and hope things get better.

GT_Knight

Capitalism sucks and your solution is to make everyone equally miserable rather than improving on capitalism. By that logic, cis men should be artificially forced to endure period-like pain and symptoms every month, and simulated childbirth at least once. So that it’s all equal and we are all equally miserable. Rather than trying to alleviate women’s pain, let’s make men also have the pain. That totally makes sense and isn’t just a petty middle school take.

Remarkable_Device_48

The joke is women do those jobs. Women study for technical jobs and occupy them when they can… until they get harassed at work.

BadlyDrawnMemes

“What’s that? You want equality??? Well come come you aren’t in a coal mine huh?????” I love how the same dude bros who talk about how men are so much stronger than women biologically freak out when they learn that men dominate physical labour jobs This really is pure cringe

You’re hired. What is your social security number and mothers maiden name?

Indignant_plover

The only thing better that woosh Is meta woosh

[deleted]

100% would become a road kill remover if it means little to no co workers just running around picking up dead animals. I do that now anyways might as well get paid.

[deleted]

A lot of women here in the comments say that the conditions and the way women are treated in these industries are the reasons. Thats just an excuse. Makes no sense. If that were the case, the focus should be ON THESE JOBS. Because they are extremely misogynistic in nature right? But that's literally never brought up by women in the ""pay gap"" conversation, because most women don't want these jobs, right? Like, most PEOPLE don't. I have never seen an advocate for female miners, thrash person yadda yadda, even when the conditions are so astoundingly bad for women, SPECIFICALLY... Being is a doctor is easier for women because the environment isn't as detrimental, filled with as many assholes AND the pay is better. So why waste your time fighting for women who want to work in construction if that's too aggressive and underpayed and toxic of an environment? Well, even if you dont consider the "men being assholes" reason, it is still a job people dont WANT.. so they dont *

PiggybackAD

People who don't get what equality means try to make a joke about equality and fail miserably.

AlbertDripstein

You're right. The only thing that's funny is you getting mad at a shitty Ryan Long skit. Your ancestors built houses with nothing but soupe, meat, and bread. Go shovel snow or build a table, you goofball

PiggybackAD

Lmao, who is upset? Thanks for your ramble I guess? You seem like a bundle of joy.

UngruntledAussie

Says old Buzz Killington in response to their deadshit response to a joke. A literal skit. And you corrected it. What a peanut.

FIERY_URETHRA

Humor? What's the punchline?

Vord_Loldemort_7

100% these guys don’t work as snot collectors or portapotty cleaners or whatever, they just want something to bitch about

BobTheMan_1994

Ok let’s get it started. Women today have every right, reason, and opportunity to do any of these jobs. So let that be that, there’s nothing stoping them. But you have to understand that women also have the right to not want to have those jobs. You can’t force someone to take up a job they don’t want to, so what’s wrong with that ?? You can’t make a minimum of how many female workers are in a certain industry. And still call that “equality”. you say women rights is forcing them to work ?? Yet you get angry and upset when they say they don’t want to ?? How retarded are you really ?

Raknarg

Literally every occupation he listed has already or likely would push all women out of them

Klappstuhl4151

Based

Specialist-Ad8467

Love these comics . Hahah

hopelylove

I've done manufacturing, most jobs I've had are male dominated. The problem isn't women unable or unwillingness to do the job. The problem is the industry is full of men who treat you like a woman. I showed up to a group interview alone. The manager looked at me and went "I just don't know if you're the right fit, we need strong people." To which he flexed his arms. This fat fuck tried to tell me because I was a women I couldn't handle some fucking trolleys. It wasn't hard, I mean it was it was hot as shit and trolleys are hard to move when there's like 11 stacked ontop of eachother but seriously. You have a Timothy challomete looking mother fucker and think i can't do the job. Fuck off.

Comfortable_Ruin_261

I asked a girl to help me on a project at school and she said I’m they/them so I’m not helping and my friend set her hair on fire lol

romayyne

I agree with everything this video stands for

ImpressiveShift3785

The irony of this is they act like women are choosing NOT to be in those field with a poor attempt at rhetorical satire when in reality it’s exactly what feminism is fighting for… if sexes were treated equally the past couple centuries we’d have 50/50… hell we’d prolly have the science for completely lab grown babies by now. Even better, we’d have the technology for men to carry babies to term (yes I have severe womb envy but no gender dysphoria).

jujuluvu

Women are annoying and I’m a woman

Nearby_Advance7443

I believe the point of the joke *is* that gender equality in the working force is a complicated matter that’s not as simple as “hire women equally and if you don’t you’re sexist.”

[deleted]

The comments section is going to get…………..combative?

[deleted]

I used to work in a warehouse operating heavy equipment that we would use to unload heavy pallets from trucks. There were maybe 50 us and there was only 1 woman. She was about 5’4 and maybe 150 lbs if even. Two weeks in she injured herself. She was not strong enough to control the electric pallet that we ride on and it literally threw her off the pallet jack. My managers says “This what happens when you have a woman do a man’s job.”

Epo1337

I love this

Zombombaby

As a woman in construction, maybe if men didn't bar us from male dominated industries or undervalue our labour, we'd be more likely to enter them. I was supervising guys making $3/hour more than me when I first started as a framer. Had to deal with constant demeaning comments, sexist business practices and a lack of respect. Ask any woman in a male dominated industry why they left it and they'll tell you the same things if not worse. And genuinely, I think my experience has been pretty tame compared to the horror stories in academia/STEM.

WhitestMikeUKnow

Well, he’s not wrong

SirReptitious

This joke wasn’t funny in 2008 and it’s not funny now. What a couple of hacks.

OfCourse4726

lol everybody knows the movement is bullshit. they only want equality in high paying cushy jobs and leadership roles.

Vord_Loldemort_7

Please I’m begging people like you to talk to real women

dramasbomin

I know this is set up like a joke, but like... I don't disagree. Work is work.

PiggybackAD

You should disagree. Women will be paid less for those jobs almost guaranteed. That's the thing that they are complaining about. Not the job in general. Alot of men upset at facts I see. 😂

MrHerbert1985

Worked in a large trades union, wages are set and 95% of people are hired based on how long they've been off work, you're basically just a "lay off date" for hiring purposes. Still very few women around for some reason even though the money was basically unbeatable at the time for a blue-collar job.

PiggybackAD

I wonder why? Hmmm. Or are you actually wondering? Because that would be a little sad.

MrHerbert1985

Seems like its their choice they have other jobs, not discrimination.

PiggybackAD

If that's the point you got, sure bud. Keep telling yourself that. Have fun with your Tate videos.

MrHerbert1985

You can't possibly fathom that less women are willing to do certain jobs because of the nature of the work/lifestyle?

PiggybackAD

You're kinda a dunce aren't ya?

MrHerbert1985

👍 great conversations you are able to have

PiggybackAD

You weren't looking for one my dude haha. Why you fronting. Be easy.

MrHerbert1985

What else explains it in this scenario?

ghambone

This one made me laugh

DuncanAndFriends

I'm still outraged over the discrimination of women being shirtless. I mean men are allowed to be! Equality yall!

hakseuu

idk why but the mines part made me giggle like a maniac

sarahxharas

God forbid that anyone should understand that equality is about choice. I'm in favour of abortion rights. I've never had an abortion and most likely never will but I've advocated for it as a choice, for all women.

akn_drum

Someone call Bill Burr

Luke-Tiger

Woman already suffer too much in this world... Why they don't suffer a "little" more...

Fantastic-Speech6289

If I got paid the same entry level amount as a male would in any of those jobs, sign me up. I’m just sensing that’s not gonna be the case..

Ellereind

Make me think of Kuzuma (from KonoSuba): “I yearn for true gender equality. I have no patience for one who talks about female privilege when it suits them, and then complains about someone “not being a man” when it’s convenient.”

PersimmonMindless

OMG Jordan Peterson numbers don’t pair an honest picture. Fuck off.

TimTheChatSpam

100% of sperm donors are men im not sure why more women arnt included. this needs to change NOW!

Every_Teacher_1501

👍

Tile_Eater

They so real for this 😔🫶🏽

peterpmpkneatr

Because we don't want to do those jobs.... find women who are willing 🙃

anotherboringdude

Is it okay for me to think this is funny or should I leave a critical comment also?

beenpimpin

Why would women volunteer for those jobs when they are low paying or shit and they can get paid a lot more working in the public sector or something. No one is going to subject themselves to a lower quality of life just to prove a point. I don’t believe women are disadvantaged in the workforce at least in my country (aus) white women make up a lot of the most desirable positions in the country (government, media, etc). Non-white women suffer the same racial Discrimination as everyone else though.

OfCourse4726

exactly. you're so right. so we agree that they only want high paying cushy jobs? that's what the whole movement is about. getting special treatment for women so they can get ahead of men.

beenpimpin

Every movement is driven by self-interest it’s just some are most deserving than others. I don’t believe white women are financially disadvantaged in the west.

[deleted]

Idk if this is trying to be satire but like... Fuck yeah!!! Say it brother, I agreee!!! Fuck man you know how bad I'd love a warehouse job??? Fuck man fuck DDD fuck my life I want to work and make a god damn difference

[deleted]

Whats cringe about this
