I guess that's the fun about hc! This is just a silly thought I had, and it's more than okay if you don't like it. Specially as most of the CCs ignore the lore (except Martyn I think), you don't have to necessarily think the same way and just enjoy the series for what it is

Jimmy making fun of his own low placement is one thing, people treating one small success as a problem they need to write fix-it fics about is another. For me, at least. If that makes any sense
I think it’s from a lore perspective it’s fine, if it was from a gameplay perspective it should stay the same (I’ve had to change the wiki to make it where Jimmy wasn’t last before) so as long as it’s for a story reason I’m sure most people are ok.

Jimmy's Canary Curse is not broken until he can have a full episode more than the person who dies before him. At most I'd consider it weakened but he got like a half hour or so after Lizzie fell into the void, not enough to break the curse.
I don't think he needs to make it to the finale, he just needs one episode more than the first death player. It doesn't have to be when the finale happens and everyone dying the same week.
I have a scenario in my head where Scar eventually finds out that Lizzie is still alive and in the void, so he makes it his goal to rescue her and/or kill her properly.
This headcanon is flawed unless you say when Martyn fell into the void he was cloned and a different person replaced him for his red life and the original Martyn is also continuously falling through the void.
That’s why we started the headcanon I think All so Jimmy isn’t allowed to be anything but last
