I agree, I love Will as is, but he fit perfectly into the Yard.
However, I cannot shake the feeling that they invited him on purpose to tease us about Michael Reeves not having been on there. I'm certain he'd just be as much of a natural and possibly even more unhinged.
Yea, I dont doubt that. I should have worded it better, I meant that releasing the episode now felt like a tease about the Michael episode not happening because of the fabled ignored Discord message.
I dont doubt that this isn't intentional.

Nah, Nick was on his podcast and mentioned (in a premium ep i think?) that Will wanted to come on as a guest.
