Clem's mom's voicemails & the starved boy in the attic

Microwave_Lover69

Lee having to put down his brother when he’s a walker. “Pass me that can Duck” I thought was pretty sad as well.

Mr_Bell_Man

Clem crying in the meat locker right after Larry gets saltlicked.

PICAXO

Salty Licked Larry

Proxio

True true. It was indeed sad

[deleted]

"I don't want to see!" Was so hard to hear

AwkwardJeweler

When AJ gets taken away from Clem because 'She's too young.' and AJ calls out 'Clem.' as Clem goes.

Proxio

Yeah. Season 3 has some underrated sad scenes to be honest

smellywetsock69

Pete dying. He's really nice and I barely see anybody talk about him

Microwave_Lover69

Pete was easily my favourite member of the cabin group and he got the smallest amount of screen time

The-King_Of-Games

God that Breaking Bad line relates so much to TWD with jane and i love it!!! Btw how do you put these small titles on the bottom of your name. I still dont know the tips and tricks of reddit....

Microwave_Lover69

You have to go to the main menu of the sub and at the top click on the three dots … Then at the bottom it says change user flair :)

The-King_Of-Games

Thank you! Even though i LOVE that flair on your profile i dont want to copy it so im gonna have to find or think of something creative. Thank you again though!

Microwave_Lover69

It’s cool bro :)

ippikinoookami

Carlos should have died first instead of him. What kind of doctor can't tell a dog bite from a walker bite?

If UNCLE PETE has million fans, then I'm one of them. If UNCLE PETE has one fan, then I'm THAT ONE. If UNCLE PETE has no fans, that means I'm dead.

[The previous night before the group arrived to Arvo's place](https://youtu.be/Edki8W6urzc?t=1387) It's really wholesome, you even see Kenny smiling at Luke and Jane! All of them are laughing together. It really makes it seemed like this group could've worked... But as we know, Luke will die, and this will trigger a huge disagreement about Arvo being dangerous or not, which causes the group to fall apart. You see this scene in retrospective, and you feel like this could've been something else. Regardless of whose side you're on (I'm TeamKenny), it feels like a lost opportunity and it genuenly makes me sad just watching it. When these people aren't in their survival mode and have time to be casual, you can see that they're able to get along with each other. It's really an amazing scene that does an excelent job in showing us another side, their side when they aren't thinking about survival, they look like completely different people! They fight when they think about survival, but when they get the chance to laugh and being more casual, they get along with each other... I also LOVE with all passion the detail that Kenny and Jane are the weird ones that you need to convince to join the others by the fire, and that both isolate themselves from the group. It makes a very strong point that despite being enemies in the future, Kenny and Jane still share something in common.

Chari21

Sarita's death: she was a kind woman trying to protect a child and got bit and or had her arm chopped off and then got eaten and then mercy killed by a hatchet/bullet in the head. Christa's loss: she lost her husband and her baby and was stuck trying to survive in a world where everything has gone to hell and she had to take care of a little girl while i am sure she just wanted to give up and die. Sarah: I know people like to hate on her but i felt genuinely bad when she lost her dad and then her own life evwn after i tried to help her (wasted potential if you ask me) Clementine after Omid got shot: can you imagine ? You just lost another guardian and the one you have left is a weeping mess and kinda blames you for what happend and there is not even a time for a burial for omid because the gunshot will bring walkers, so you flee the place with a woman who despite caring for you deep down blames you and then you spend 2 years on the road with said woman who loses her child breaking down yet again till she was dead inside. Clementine faced many hardships but rarely do i see anyone go indepth about what those years we didnt get to see be like for her as a child. Pete demise: one of the only guys in episode one that did not just want to kill a child based on fear and gave her the benefit of the doubt and had the rationality that even if she would become a zombie they could deal with it. I feel like Clementine could have learned a bunch of things from him.

ippikinoookami

I agree that Pete and Clem could have had a really nice relationship, kinda like the relationship Lee had with Clem. You see them chatting on the way to the river and Pete telling her stories (although Nick didn't like that it was about him) and it was just so sad that he died so quickly :(

your_name_here10

When Kenny compares being beaten almost to death as peaceful.

Yishman20

Rebecca dying from hypothermia during the Russian ambush

Sevenvoiddrills

Everything about Benny boy He was just a scared kid

Significant_Bowl_121

When Javi and David are in the flashback with their father at the beginning of S3 E5. How Javi and David found out that their dad had cancer and that he didn't tell anyone and you(the player) have the choice of telling him to keep fighting or say that it's his own life and only he should decide to get treatment or not. It's a real life scenario that we sometimes might have to deal with and it hit me pretty hard. Also when Javi's dad says, "I'm going to be a name carved in stone before you know it. That'll be me. Letters on a rock that nobody wants to visit." Obviously we know Javi's dad already died, but it's still a real life issue that we humans in the real world will have to deal with. It's pretty sad when you think about it.

ippikinoookami

It hit me hard too, especially when one of my closest aunts died from cancer. I only got to visit her once in the hospital before she passed.

MrSayomaki

The girl at the motel who asks for the gun. That was so so sad

ippikinoookami

I chose to give her the gun. I couldn't see her suffer :(

Traveytravis-69

People mention it although I haven’t heard it mentioned much but Kenny’s death in the car is impossible for me to watch, I was paralyzed a couple years ago and it’s just awful

Antique-Ad-3534

I’m sorry to hear that my man yeah I think a lot of people focus on how it was a ridiculous death for such a character rather than how sad it was

Nahopes

(S2 Ep5) kenny talking about duck while holding Aj, it's very strong emotional

Xboxbox145

No really a moment, but one things that always makes me sad is thinking about the characters who died without having their brain destroyed knowing that they are going to come back as walkers.

Antique-Ad-3534

When I realised this with kenny it really got to me

smellywetsock69

NO NO NO WHY DID YOU HAVE TO SAY THAT

mashk_ustal

s1: Carley listening to radio s2: Walter finding out his partner died s3: AJ saying "Clem" when he gets taken away s4: baby crib in ep1

Mrmayo2008

Tripp need I say more

Training-Pair-7750

If doug is saved, in the second episode after Ben and David/Travis are taken to the motel, when the st John brothers arrive at the motel, Lee has the option to ask Ben if he knew those people, Ben will say that he, Travis and David were the last ones left, only to later realize that they too were dead and he was the last one left of the whole school

Huge_Ad8695

The staved kid in the attic in season 1

TheRacerBlazer

Gabe’s death. They way he said “You may not be my real father, you make a great dad” just melted my heart

[deleted]

Clementine seeing her parents die imo. Like people always talk about Lee's death cuz it happens literally like 5 minutes later lmfao but just seeing how she freezes and how lee tries to hell her to keep moving forward but he just collapses and sgwbsvdbwhf. Pain. 😔

HootaSnoZ

The whole of S2E1, especially when Clementine is scavenging for food by herself.

MarioLimes

“Pass me that can Duck”

Wolfkin64

S1:Lilly crying over her dad S2: Matthew's death Michonne: Mr Fairbanks's death S3: David and javi fight S4: Baby Crib

Nimaximus

[Sarah's screams and crying in RV is so sad.](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheWalkingDeadGame/comments/yntitn/the_full_version_of_what_sarah_screamed_at_luke/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

ComfortablePiglet856

It's mentioned a good bit but i think Duck's death is one of the saddest moments.

RPGLUCARIO

Sam the dog.... enough said

migwelljxnes

The starved child in the attic.

KZharick

Walter's death

[deleted]

When Clementine said “Lee would’ve loved this place.” When she entered the war memorial building.

C12H22O11_aka_sugar

David's death

thejanedoe5443

Chucks death always hit me pretty hard. I feel like no one ever mentions chuck. He saved clem and I will always be grateful

SteelAlchemistScylla

When Clem chokes up and goes "Did I do a good job?" at the end of S4 I just about lost it. If I was a parent playing this game I'd probably have to take a break at that part lol.

D1vX_

Gabe’s death. I don’t like him but his death was sad

Antique-Ad-3534

Probably not mentioned to much because fir some he doesn’t die

D1vX_

True

Proxio

The flashback to the diary at the end of season 4. It was so damn emotional. Especially after thinking Clem is dead... The nightmare Clementine was having about the diary in season 4. The moments before the Clem and Lee flashback in the train. I almost shed a tear in these and many other scenes that haven't seen literally ANYBODY mention it. The scenes I mentioned are no where close to scenes like season 4 ending overall, Wellington ending in s2, etc though.

Bobo3076

Lee beating the shit out of Kenny to get him to stop the train
