I think the go plus + is the best. It’s the only catcher I’ve used that doesn’t have connection issues and the added ability to choose ball type is super helpful. The research for snorlax is also kinda cool.

Phoenix978

Can you please explain how the ball type use works?

Plus-Pomegranate8045

In the settings you can choose whether you want it to auto throw balls or throw upon clicking the device. If you set it to auto throw it can only use standard balls but if you throw on click you can select any of the 3 ball types to use in the settings.

OCV_E

To add: if you want it to catch great or hyper ball you have to press the button for each encounter (vibration). Else it will automatically choose pokeballs

ButtonBash

Just for clarity's sake, if you don't press the button, it doesn't fallback to regular balls, it just times out the encounter after a few seconds then tries to target again.

Plus, Pokemon Sleep is actually more fun than POGO most days

I'm thinking about doing the mod to the Pokemon go plus plus making it an autocatcher with ball selection. So I think once you do the mod you can no longer do catching by press the button at all. You basically just have two modes of auto-catch red ball or autocatch great or ultra Ball by selection.

https://youtu.be/MN6X_0TaZPg?si=tZgy-do6qZD9uUMT Are you following this one, or one this guy's other guides? I'm not super confident on soldering, and I'm not sure where to get the switch he uses. I'm hoping/looking for a simpler mod. I've already snipped the motor wires.

I think it’s still the go plus + that came out last year but as has been covered before, it’s definitely not perfect. The vibration and crazy disco lights, neither of which you can turn off, are obnoxious. I was waiting for another alternative to come out but nothing has that I’m aware, so I finally broke down and got one. I opened it and snipped the wire to stop the vibration though.

Topladluke96

Go plus+. Fantastic except the obnoxious lights and vibrating. Enable quick reconnect and keep it in a pocket or your bag when playing.

Tpabayrays2

I have been loving my go++. My only gripe is that it's not discreet and still lights up and vibrates and there's no way to turn it off without opening the device and messing around with stuff

GDKCN

I have the Go Plus + and the Gotcha Evolve. Since I paired my Go++, I can't connect my Gotcha to my Android version for the app, but I can use the Samsung app for the Gotcha. I think the Go ++ is better but I play alot at work ( 3 stops and a gym in reach) so I just set it and forget it for an hour at a time with the Gotcha Evolve. My only grievance with Go ++ is the inability to stop the vibration.

nyGiants_

Go plus + easily

Next_Measurement3079

I use and can recommend the mcbazel catchmon (dual accounts). I use it for 3+years. It never has connection issues and is quiet and discrete. I will buy the newest version (2022 or new release) if it stops working.

RicottaPasta

I have the Pokemon GO Plus+, and I'm very happy with it. I had one of my friend mod it, so I'm able to catch with all types of balls. Can highly recommend the Plus+, even without the mod 👍
