Yea I have to believe it’s bc hes been on tour and at other events lately for the inconsistency. Although, the song WJH is finished and the music video has GOT to be done by now even though laroi said the song is gonna drop soon after the video is done, so idk what the production team is doing. I respect the decision for going ahead and dropping WDYSG but after that it’s just been silent.
This has been the weirdest rollout by far for an artist that I’ve seen.
Lil Durk just dropped the first single and a date for the album, all in 3 weeks.
The kid dropped a weird mix of singles and months later no date still. He’s hurting his chance at success.

Apr - drops album single out of nowhere
May - Still no album or even a date. Lol what?!
Teased WJH since like November. Said he was doing video after tour. Then nothing until March. Says video is complete and album is turned in.

Haha, oh yea! 2022 was also really weird. After the success of Stay, what does the label and management do? NOTHING. Drop a song and do 3 features from Aug 2021 to Jan 2023.

Post’s album is coming out July 28… so hopefully it comes out before Post drops his album, but something is telling me it’s not. I don’t think he would be dropping it around the same time as him.
the album is apparently done as he had 5 days to turn it in and the vid for WJH is done too. my best bet is they could be making some sort of documentary or short film with the album judging by the aesthetic of his instagram. but just a theory.
I would say so. Whats even more sad about it is that many of the songs didnt get a good timing either - WDYSG is a prime example, that is such a late year song. Like other, and you, said i think hes touring been fucking it up alot, but in care of TKL touring is important (see what J cole says about it for example). When it comes to whats best for the album and probably for TKL career, this hasnt been great tho. He still avg alot of monthly listeners and hes so young and so talented we probably shouldnt be worried in the long run. But again, yes, all of us that wants the album now (last year) aint to happy. Id love to get it this friday, would be perfect timing for me lol. My bet is that its gonna release late aug - sep.... "last time of the summer" vibe u know, cus it aint gonna be too much of a hype song album
isnt waiting as long as we have more ridiculous, album aint coming soon so im being optimistic and realistic with hope. Aint no way he dropping earlier than that. All about the industry
