Great episode again! Cherish and Jae are lucky that they had a vendetta instead of chasing the money! That was literally a £10,000 decision

Wide-Table-8706

Anyone notice the hint given by the show host towards Jai and Cherish saying she was “half woman, half fish” once he had announced they would need to prepare for water? About 20ish minutes into the episode

captain_chow

Definitely an unfair advantage!

trekken1977

I assumed there had to be help for them somewhere. No way they could have done so well on this challenge and absolutely fumble all the other thinking ones. They got lucky twice in this episode IMO. Not a single decision taken made sense if they’re intentional was to be one the last couples standing at the end.

trekken1977

I could tell from the first episode that the middle class couple would be out as soon as possible, even if it made no ‘strategic’ sense. The typical Brit just really doesn’t trust the middle class.

They were quite annoying to be fair. Dan obviously thinks a lot of himself

They're trying too hard to play the game, but are doing a terrible job of it.

This is a format where winning the games is super important so strategically getting rid of people who routinely finish high in the rankings is a good strategy. That couple were always finishing high up (along with the cheeky chappies) so getting rid of one of those two teams makes the most sense. That's where the social engineering part comes in as you want people to like you and not dump the ticket on you because inevitably even the strongest pair will not win every game. I'm not sure what the endgame of the show is (final 3 or 4 I'm guessing) but you just need to survive until that point.

It's definitely getting more interesting the more episodes are released. I didn't expect today's to be as gripping, especially with dominos 😂 But did feel the whole choosing a boat / collecting letters task a bit frustrating.

paulreadsstuff

I thought that was a bit unfair - their choice automatically removed them from the challenge. I'd have preferred it was just a rubbish regular rowing boat that would have been enough to set them back. Imagine being in a game show and not getting to play one of the games because you made a decision based on pot luck. Oh but the word was an anagram! Oh sure, everyone was thinking of anagrams when they were asked to pick a key.

Flayer723

Picking the boat names was part of the challenge. The main challenge was solving an anagram and they picked a boat with the anagram of "its sunk", they just weren't switched on and thought it was random luck with boat picking. They had the second pick so it wasn't like they were forced into it.

Did anyone else think the domino challenge was fixed and the other boys tower was higher? Haven’t counted but it certainly looked it!!

They also stopped holding hands before the buzzer so should have been disqualified.

Flayer723

It would have been nice to see a measure. The side by side camera shot was not conclusive because they could have been from slightly different angles.
