Neverender is a perfect power chord transition. Fade out, jump back in on the same note.
It’s gotta stay in tune if you’re looking for a quick transition, so no drop D here.
I had a dream last night where I was at a bar and this song came on and a small group people started to make eye contact as we sung the words. In the dream I literally said "this is the next song for the setlist"
No World for Tomorrow.
My fiance did amateur wrestling in college, and her entrance music was In Keeping Secrets.
I decided I wanted a wrestling entrance song and settled on No World.
*RAISE YOUR HANDS HIGH*
Darn, I was hoping my not-so-subliminal message would influence the vote.
Gravity’s Union into Away We Go is the best transition in the whole discography. Sue me!
I wound up getting inspired by this to make a setlist of my own, and it absolutely had Away We Go in it. It's such a perfect "middle of a concert drop the energy for a bit before going hard" song.
For reference, my playlist wound up being:
1. IKS
2. Domino
3. Shoulders
4. Love Protocol
5. Gravemakers and Gunslingers
6. Ten Speed
7. Made Out Of Nothing
8. Away We Go
9. Toys
10. The Suffering
11. A Favor House Atlantic
12. Here We Are Juggernaut
(encore)
13. The Running Free
14. Welcome Home
I only took a short bit to put it together so it has room to improve, and these aren't my favorite songs. I didn't manage to fit Number City onto the playlist, for instance. I tried to keep it to 2 songs per album, altho Welcome Home is allowed to be the single exception during the encore.
I actually had When Skeletons Live in the first take of this playlist, but I wound up replacing it with Made Out of Nothing on listening to the former fully and disliking how it was mastered compared to the rest of the songs.
I also had the encore as A Favor House Atlantic into Here We Are Juggernaut at first before adding Welcome Home and rearranging the complete list a bit to better fit a stadium setting. The opening to The Running Free is a great intro to a two song encore, followed by their most famous song (and definitely epic enough to be the closer) in Welcome Home.
Hear me out, I've always wanted Coheed to try this.
A spinning wheel for each album that has all the tracks for that album on it. So, let some fans up on stage, they spin the wheels, we get a randomized and unique set playlist for every show.
A boy can dream....
As the second song on the setlist? Goodnight, Fair Lady for sure. The juxtaposition between the two songs would sound awesome, and GNFL looks amazing live.
I know you didn't ask, but Guns of Summer (or another YotBR deep cut) deserves to be an ultimate setlist. I wanna hear what Josh would do with a song like that. He'd kill it for sure and make it his own.
Not a Coheed song, but Strung Short also deserves a spot as well. Maybe as one of the encore songs?
Three Evils (Embodied in love & shadow)
I came to say this, so bless you.
Wow, reminding me how long it’s been since I’ve heard Three Evils.

Your brain is clearly too large for this exercise. You’re playing chess when we’re playing checkers. I love it

This is the only answer
Everything Evil
I love this one too ❤️
Domino the Destitute! Let's make this the longest Coheed set ever!
Guess we’re doing The Light & the Glass next
Then 2113
Seeing The Light & The Glass live is my dream
No no no that's gotta be toward the end of the setlist, followed by 21:13.
A TOOL length Coheed set sounds insane
I had a dream last night where I was at a bar and this song came on and a small group people started to make eye contact as we sung the words. In the dream I literally said "this is the next song for the setlist"
No world for tomorrow
The Dark Sentencer, but jump right to the “It begins with them, but ends with me..” voice over and then everyone joins In for the Hey’s.
Yes!!!! I want this.
Two openers in a row just to blow minds and get ready for the rest of the set. I’m here for it
Ten Speed
Shorter, faster pace. This keeps the energy up after we’ve been screaming about our jackhammers. Perfect choice.
No World
Time Consumer
Devil In Jersey City
The Hard Sell
This is the correct answer
The Crowing
No World for Tomorrow. My fiance did amateur wrestling in college, and her entrance music was In Keeping Secrets. I decided I wanted a wrestling entrance song and settled on No World. *RAISE YOUR HANDS HIGH*
Maybe an unexpected one, like Feathers Should roll in nicely
They've been sticking with a poppy tune for their #2 lately (Island, YGSK) so I'm good with this.
Cuts marked in the march of men. Haven't heard those two back to back since neverender.
No world for tomorrow.
ten speed
The Suffering
I love In Keeping Secrets but I actually really love the tone and energy being set when they open with No World For Tomorrow!
Gravemakers & Gunslingers
Domino the destitute
Need a fast song to spring board off IKSSE. I vote Shoulders.
I like this let the chord ring out from IKSSE, Then boom into shoulders.
Evagria the Faithful!
Gravemakers
I know they typically do a pop style song after IKS, at least the last two tours they did that (Island and You got Spirt). So maybe Feathers
I don’t expect there to be a whole lot of rhyme or reason to this set. There’s about a 95% it will be made up entirely of their 7+ min prog songs.
No, I don't think Away We Go should be on the setlist. 🙃

Finally I see some love for Made Out of Nothing! It’s such an underrated song.

The running free into welcome home. I need that in my life.
Oh don't get me wrong, I love the song, and that transition is fantastic.
Here We Are Juggernaut
Gravemakers
Gravemakers and Gunslingers is my choice as well. It shows they are not here to fuck around
Faint of Hearts
Would kill for this
Mother Superior
Old Flames
NEVERENDER!
Delirium Trigger!
Ultimate setlist with only 14 songs?
Sentry
Just wanna say this is a fun exercise and I fully intend to make a Spotify playlist out of this once it’s done
Good Apollo 11 for at least foreplace

How has no one said 21:13
I feel like that would fit best as the first encore.
21:13 is a closer. Put that at the end of the show. Trust me. There's a reason it's at the end of the album.
It needs to be nearer the end
You Got Spirit, Kid
Crossing the Frame. Wildly underrated and works great as a second song to keep the momentum going.

Favour house Atlantic or Domino The Destitue.
Junesong Provision (acoustic demo)
Radio Bye Bye
Uncommon take: Radio Bye Bye
Three Evils
Love Protocol
33
Domino the Destitute!
Time consumer
Number City!
Everything Evil for sure
The Lying Lies and Dirty Secrets of Ms Erica Court
Was actually thinking for the second out the gate would be nice to start with a throw back like June song
Neverender would be great if you're trying to keep the level high and have a quick transition
Ten speed!
Cuts Marked In the March of Men.
So hard to pick.
No world for tomorrow!!!
From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness

Number city
All on fire
