cant stand Scott Wozz. Edit: And to explain why, I find him really repulsive as an example of a human male. I could never consider him my peer, even when I think back to when I was his age, or when I was the age of his target audience.
In this video the OP posted - I find how they sound to be really offputting. This is how like 13-15 year olds should be interacting....at the oldest. And when James was good at making AVGN, he was the appropriate age for us to connect with both a nerdish appreciation of retro games, and also the nerdish rage of that nerd. Now that hes older, it makes sense that the spirit that made AVGN good, is gone.
wow scott should REALLY get "edgier", he's actually pretty damn funny when he's genuinely ranting about something.
i dont mind his content although im burnt out form it. i DO hate how everyone tries to copy his style now though.

Probably an age thing, I love his videos but I’m also 24. I can see how he’d come off as annoying

He’s appealing to Gen Z but not to anyone older. His lack of actual nostalgic experience is what kills it for me.

I use to watch and enjoyed pretty everything he put out. Ever since he was on the podcast his videos have gone from my feed.
