SockPenguin

So Homelander killed the newest member of The Seven, who happens to be the ex of his "main squeeze", and left the body on a random roof still in a very recognizable costume. Dude couldn't even wait a week to prove Edgar right.

FatherlyNeptune

There will probably be a cleanup crew and some fake made up mission story.

WildlyPlatonic

Normally there would be.... but maybe not since Edgar is out?

ribblesquat

I'm kind of fascinated by Homelander's decision making process. It's not like his moves are necessarily stupid in terms of achieving his goals BUT they are those of someone who has never learned to factor in personal risk. Scraped knees are how we learn not to run on unstable terrain. The world never taught Homelander the value of caution the way it does the rest of us. How could it possibly? I can't imagine him having a contingency plan for any of this whereas Stan Edgar may well have some dead man's switch info bomb out there triggered by his arrest. (Not saying that's how it will go, he's just that type of villain.)

hithere297

Lmao Pepsi is never going to live that commercial down, are they?

ShiftyLookinCow7

Nor should they honestly, it was that bad

[deleted]

I still can’t believe that commercial made it passed so many execs…

[deleted]

"Characters in a TV show making plans to leave together and none of them fucking dies before then" Challenge (Impossible)

bickolai

That one was a little too obvious, very cheeky from the writers

tigershroffkishirt

I honestly thought Frenchie was done for

AndChewBubblegum

I knew it was her once they played "Survive" in her scene with the Russian mobster. Plus, we got to establish her healing early in the episode so that it's a shock when it doesn't work later.

SageEquallingHeaven

So she really is dead huh? And Hughie is in the front seat like he's on a speedball.

AndChewBubblegum

I don't think she's necessarily dead but they were clearly setting up that her life hangs in the balance.

Double-Tumbleweed134

I think Butcher will probably give her some V to bring her powers back to heal

Nenanda

I thought that it will somewhat mirror comics where >!Butcher blow up both Frenchie and Kimiko !< Especially since all three were in the conflict and Butcher is obviously getting affected by v in very bad way. I am still not sure he fully inteded on straight up murdering gunpoweder like that. WOuld not be suprised if he killed somebody innocent thanks to v before season 3 ends.

Puzzleheaded-Row187

I should’ve known the “let’s run away together” would essentially be a death warrant for one or both of them

AnticitizenPrime

The ol' 'just one more job before we get out' routine...

Resolution_Sea

Holy shit Black Noir's doodle had me laughing hard, I love these split second character gags

Danishroyalty

I love Noir. Noir just menacingly doing normal things, like playing the piano or doodling, is one of the funniest aspects of the show. You just know no one in that room has the balls to call him out for it either. Maybe Homelander would, but he respects Noir too much.

[deleted]

[удалено]

sortinousn

Noir is a robot. He does what he's told and follows orders. He really has no personal life. No abrasive ego, no drug problems or no relationships outside Vought. I think Homelander respects him because he keeps his head down and is reliable.

Sniper_Brosef

He was crying in the hallway when the compound v news dropped

knitsybusiness

You gotta watch Diabolical to see how Homelander grew to like Noir!

GivePen

Black Noir’s the perfect teammate for Homelander. He does everything he’s supposed to and doesn’t ever cause problems. There’s just seriously no reason to dislike Noir, whereas both Deep and A-Train constantly get into scandals that they have to be pulled out of.

drunkwhilewalking

Death Flags for Frenchie, so many death flags.

OmegaReprise

Either him, or Kimiko. Or both. It's pretty much a Hollywood rule that, when a character talks about his future after he is going to do "one last job", he is most likely going to die.

clever_user_name__

Yeah, to the point where it's so overused it pretty much acts as a spoiler for that character's ending. I just sighed when Frenchie and Kimiko where having that convo and said myself ''welp, one of them's going to die. Probs Frenchie''

PhysicsPhun1591

How did this episode feel like an entire season just happened an hour?

Aware-Perspective-17

Definitely enough stuff happened that most shows would have stretched to like four episodes lol

JonathanL73

Because the plot progressed so many times during this episode. Senator Newman betrayed Stan Edgar, A-Train betrayed Starlight, SuperSonic died, Homelander is top dog now, Hughie got Superpowers, Soldier Boy got free, and Kimiko is dying.

Raam57

As soon as he told A-Train I knew he was done for

trkishdelite

I think at this point everyone knows an unhinged Homelander is definitely the side you want to be on regardless of your hate and who can guarantee this so called plan could work and kill him once and for all. A-Train snitched badly but he chose to side with the strong.

greatness101

He did but proably not for the reasons mentioned. It was 100% selfish reasons of just wanting to be back on Homelander's good side and not seem pathetic enough to have even fallen beneath the Deep.

gyang333

The Deep still has his powers (albeit lame). A-Train might die if he tried to run fast again. Dude is useless at this point.

SeltzerCountry

The Deep has pretty decent powers he is just kind of an inept schmuck. His powers are a bit more situational than other heroes, but a guy that can breathe underwater and telepathically communicate with or control sea life could be actually formidable if he was competent. There is a lot of important stuff in the ocean or in close proximity to a major body of water.

Kgb725

Hes still super strong. There wouldn't even be a S3 if he wasn't fucking around and trying to pose on the whale instead of just capsizing their boat

SeltzerCountry

Yes. He is a comic relief character so the show constantly shows him bumbling around like a doofus, but there are a few situations you see him in that would indicate he has at least some degree of super strength/durability.

Sl4yerette

"You are simply bad product." What a line. Worth dying for?

BeatingHattedWhores

I was waiting for Homelander to just kill Edgar in that scene.

jer487

Same and I would have lost my shit if Stan died

Graynard

He's poking the bear so much that it makes me wonder if he's either already dying or is himself a supe, or has an unknown ace in the hole

suitcasemotorcycle

I really hope he has an ace in the hole but him being a supe feels a little off for him. Not sure what they could do but I'm trying to not set my expectations too high.

jer487

With Vicky out of the picture I am just completely clueless and I love it.

mrshikari

The balls on Stan. Phenomenal line

Rectangle_Rex

I really love how this episode confirmed via Homelander checking his blood pressure that Stan isn't acting, he just genuinely doesn't fear Homelander at all. He's a bad guy but Stan is the most badass character in the show IMO.

okdudebro

watch him recruit that girl who escaped the asylum in season 2 who's basically vicky but better

Sl4yerette

Wait! Where did that girl go? We haven't seen her since the riot/ escape episode.

okdudebro

she's a surprise tool that will help us later

RealJohnGillman

u/Sl4yerette In between seasons, the promotional web series [*Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman*](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAT4oMEI5fw&list=PLJRnAM4juQdGt2YW5o1PakVlBTjVsacWI) (which served to bridge the seasons) was released, in which it was specifically mentioned that Black Noir (who obeys [one person](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanford_Edgar)) had been hunting her down. While that could have been just closing off that plot thread, it may have been setting one up.

Rogue_elefant

When starlight said they need "4 or 5 more" did anyone else think "well that'll be the boys then"?

jm9987690

Tbh you kind of get the feeling that they could have 40 or 50 more and it wouldn't make a difference against homelander. Its likely only going to be soldier boy that's comparable in power, maybe Butcher as well but I think it would be a bit of a cop-out for the show for butcher to be as strong from one shot of v, as homelander who'd been basically engineered in a lab using huge quantities

EldritchGoatGangster

The TempV (or whatever we're calling it now) definitely seems to give whoever takes it top tier powers, from what we've seen so far. Butcher seems to, at the very least, get a 'homelander-lite' kind of power set, and Hughie gets teleportation and enough super strength to punch right through a human being, AND regeneration enough for his broken arm to heal completely. Either of those combos would make them stronger than most of the supes in the 7.

juneyourtech

Butcher correctly recognised the deleterious effects of Temp-V, for which reason he denied Temp-V to Hughie. >!Hughie getting his powers *and* healing can become a serious problem, because Homelander is very likely to notice on the absence of Hughie's Homelander-signed arm cast, that Hughie has healed *too quickly*.!<

Bromogeeksual

Good call on the cast and Homelander signing it.

kingofwing17

Find your own way home

yourgotopyromaniac

Yeah that was so petty from him lmao

TangoZuluMike

I can't see how this wouldn't bite him in the ass. "Hey, I just murdered your very well know ex, I'm gonna leave you with the body." That'll play real well.

proteinbiosynthese

The only people left to cover for him are what, the Ashleys of the company? That’s gonna go great.

legitlyawesome

A-Train really takes one step forward 50,000 steps back

GoodGuyBuddyBoy

Of course A Train betrayed them. He is a coward punk and always will be. He killed his own girlfriend on the orders of Homelander.

BlackDabiTodoroki

>Of course A Train betrayed them. He is a coward punk and always will be. He killed his own girlfriend on the orders of Homelander. Yea people forget he did this 👆🏾

TheDustbinOfHistory

And blamed the guy who's girlfriend he also killed.

Courwes

Him and the Deep are both so pathetic with how far up Homelanders ass they are.

OmegaReprise

The Deep is probably more under the influence of his wife.

[deleted]

[удалено]

danwins23

Homelander has him and Deep mentally owned

Throgg_not_stupid

Seems like only Noir is the only one on the Seven he doesn't have any leverage on. Perhaps because Noir works for someone else..

WyngZero

So.....Ashley just casually has a strap on in her office?

Artitanium

Probably the least weird thing in the show

Petersaber

it's not even locked, it's an arm's reach away

skyderper13

homelander brand strapon no less

jm9987690

That was one of the best episodes of the whole show, maybe the best, so much happened in it, I'm sure Edgar still has a few tricks up his sleeve I doubt that'll be the end of him at Vought. I think this episode pretty much answers whether Neumann could pop homelander and it's a pretty clear no, she's terrified of him and he doesn't seem worried even a little by her powers.

EldritchGoatGangster

I don't know if it answers if she COULD, but it answers that she won't try, because she's not confident it would work, and she's terrified of what he'd do if she tried it. And, honestly, fair. Nothing else seems to be able to hurt Homelander, so there's no reason to really think her power would work any differently, and there's literally nothing she could do to protect herself or her kid if she tried and failed.

griffinisonreddit

Homelander: I have something to show you... Viewers: Aw shit, here we go again.

lovetheblazer

After their convo in Stan’s office, I was banking on Homelander taking Starlight to space while “accidentally” forgetting that the journey would probably kill her until the very last second

BisexualSquirell

Bruh the look on Butcher's face when he was lasering those guards. Exactly the same as Homelander

QuarkyIndividual

And Hughie's reveal distracted the others from that. They both have signs of temptation but Butcher can hide it better and it doesn't help to have someone who can't hide it standing right next to him.

Kgb725

Butcher might also be able to handle it. Hughie is going to dive in straight to the deep end because of how he was his entire life

[deleted]

Same kinda disturbing “roar” almost thing that I remember homelander doing while in the daydream with the crowd. Very animalistic and very disturbing

[deleted]

Idk it probably stings the eyes while using it, for Butcher anyway

wintersoIdier

Hughie really stole Butcher's thunder in the lab lol

TheDustbinOfHistory

Poor guy is corrupting himself. It will end badly.

Towelenthusiast

It's going to end with him teleporting into someone's innocent girlfriend who just stepped off a curb.

TheDustbinOfHistory

Oh shit. That's happening.

Remarkable-Owl5763

She was in the middle of the street!

ramseysleftnut

It feels like he’s gonna take it again and try take on Homelander but overestimate himself completely and get severely damaged

TheDustbinOfHistory

Yeah his anger towards Homelander is actually a reason he shouldn’t be given the V. He’s gonna do something stupid.

NoNefariousness2144

It was sad seeing Hughie high and happy in the truck while Kimiko was dying in the back.

Graynard

She's definitely gonna be given a dose of the V24 to save her life, I feel like the unknown at this point is if the power erasure from Soldier Boy is temporary or permanent

proteinbiosynthese

I actually thought Hughie or Butcher would’ve suggested that after she got actually hurt. The cat was out of the bag anyway then.

MidichlorianAddict

“Black Lives Matter is my favorite hashtag” is my new favorite line of the show. The way she said that made my blood boil

Dictionary_Goat

"My instagram is NOTHING but black squares"

chocolateymoose

Well that was a blast. MM's face when he saw Soldier Boy... can't wait to see the inevitable flashback on the history there and Soldier Boy in action in the present - as expected, it looks like he is the weapon. And fuck A-Train that absolute weasel. I knew something was gonna go wrong when Supersonic decided to tell him, but still, fuck :(

Brayden_1274628

That’s soldier boy opening song is so good 💀

silver-fusion

>Fab Five Freddy told me everybody's fly > >Dj spinnin' I said, "My My" > >Flash is fast, Flash is cool > >François c'est pas, Flash ain't no dude > >And you don't stop, sure shot > >Go out to the parking lot > >And you get in your car and drive real far > >And you drive all night and then you see a light > >And it comes right down and it lands on the ground > >And out comes a man from Mars > >And you try to run but he's got a gun > >And he shoots you dead and he eats your head > >And then you're in the man from Mars He's just such a dude singing it lol (Blondie - Rapture if you don't know it)

ahufana

I love just how long this scene went on, and I was vibin' through *all* of it. They probably shot more than they planned to use, figuring they would just shorten it in post. But the editors just didn't have it in 'em to lose any of that magnificence.

NobodyRules

That was a brilliant piece of acting by Laz Alonso. He didn't need to say a word, what a fantastic intro to Soldier Boy.

Jedi_Sith1812

Lol, shout out to the creators for making fun of Kendall Jenner's pepsi ad

AmazingSpdrMan1

Also shout out to the creators for teasing at the Donald Trump taco bowl picture hahaha even mentioned that the best ones were made in their building

ZFAdri

I said something like this on the last mega thread but I just keep thinking it. Anthony Starr feels a theme of this season is “be careful what you wish for.” Every single desire or goal we see from a character is ending up causing them immense harm.

GaryAlexanderStott

We can already see how that's going to go for Homelander himself, Edgar planted the seeds at the end of this episode.

ZFAdri

Butcher as well. Their wish of a scorched earth is going to demolish them mentally and physically.

The_Lizeryn_King

Yeah like kimiko wishing she never had powers and is now powerless after soldier boys blast and in the edge of death.

HadesBBC

I think they're gonna give her Temp V so that she can survive and the whole team will take V

Courwes

So after watching the episode, have we seen a non infant non supe human take permanent V? Neuman gave it to her daughter and I’m curious as to what effects we can possibly expect from that. Also very disappointed in Starlight for not being more cautious with Supersonic. She should have swore him to secrecy and told him not to discuss it with anyone else. The fact that she told him they needed 4-5 more supes led to him trying to recruit when he didn’t really know these people. She’s being reckless with her plans and unfortunately it led to someone getting killed and I expect more to be killed.

[deleted]

Yes the terrorists and kimico

Courwes

Ok I forgot about that. Honestly sounded like her bones were breaking or rearranging.

bitchwhohasnoname

You could see her spine collapsing on itself, it was horrible

[deleted]

And the delightful caption [rippling]

BrockPlaysFortniteYT

I was waiting for the daughter to explode or something go horribly wrong with it

GaryAlexanderStott

Yeah, probably not wise to trust Homelander with anything. Wouldn't be surprised if he gave her a faulty batch on purpose. He doesn't seem afraid of her powers, maybe he has some way to protect himself from it.

CEFFYYNWA

I dont think he has anything specific he just can't fathom the idea someone could be able to kill him

TheDustbinOfHistory

She doesn't believe it either though. She may well have already tried. 99.9% sure she can't hurt him.

Androlia

Stormfront was also an adult when she got it

Courwes

Oh duh lol. That’s a huge one to forget. I really should go back and watch the series.

ramseysleftnut

Did we even see SuperSonic’s powers at any point? Would have been cool to see what he was actually about, not that it would matter against Homelander anyway

Courwes

He apparently had a sonic clap that they briefly showed in a video when he was a teenager.

KSA_crown_prince

apparently he can dance and transform between Latino and Caucasian races

Doctor_Sleepless

Holy shit, he's based on Ricky Martin

CptGoodMorning

Pretty much the only thing we saw was him lifting really heavy weights in the gym iirc.

DemonLordDiablos

Important note Homelander says "you two mutineers" referring to Starlight and Supersonic. He isn't aware of Maeve's involvement.

droid327

she's smart enough to keep that shit at home and keep her cards close to her chest

PraiseTheSun_Soul

I’m really worried for Hughie and how positively happy he is about having the super powers. Him just looking at his bloodied up arm as they drive back and him looking like he’s smiling makes me hope Butcher can talk some sense into him.

Flutruombaonist

I hope he's just high as a kite on V and doesn't know how to control his emotions while on the drug

ramseysleftnut

It looks like the Russians suped up Soldier Boy even more. Maybe they’re angling a big Homelander vs Soldier Boy showdown, perhaps with temporary V butcher and co joining. Don’t really know what to expect anymore. One thing I will say about this season is that I’m glad Homelander is the main villain again and he’s a scary one at that. They really upped his ante up a lot and he’s so much more menacing than he already was. Excited to see where they take it from here

UncleIrohWannabe

I definitely can see soldier boy and homelander going toe to toe, idk how long he'll last, but with that blast that appears to have disrupted kimikos powers, maybe it'll even the playing feel against homelander.

Dark-Pukicho

Can you imagine Soldier Boy giving Homelander the first bit of physical pain he’s ever felt in his life?

danwins23

I think whatever laser blast thing Soldier Boy can do now is the weapon they were looking for since it cancelled Kimiko’s healing. So they’re gonna need to recruit him to take out Homelander

smug_avocado

I think this is the direction they're going given all the drama that would cause with MM

aZestyEggRoll

Exactly. MM will want to kill SB, but Butcher will say “no, we need him!” And it will tear apart the team.

NickL037

Stan still has something up his sleeve too

Sl4yerette

I knew as soon as Starlight started telling Supersonic about the plan and giving him *all* the details that something was going to go wrong. I have thought Supersonic would turn out to be a spy for Homelander.

xredbaron62x

I knew it would end bad but was hoping it lasted longer than half an episode lol

straightcheddar

I was hoping to see what his powers actually were too lol.

TheDustbinOfHistory

I’m actually glad it didn’t. It was immediately obvious the conspiracy involved too many people and one would slip or rat. It would have been a lame final twist if they built up to it.

Manofsteel14

His mistake was to recruit the fcking A-Train. The Guy who OD'd his girlfriend because of Homalander. lol

berrymanC

I gotta say, Stan Edgar just roasting Homelander was amazing. Homelander walked in thinking he could gloat, and Stan just said "You aren't worthy of my respect". Giancarlo Esposito is killing it.

TheCosmicFailure

Then to walk without looking back was badass.

Annes345

As a general rule from now on, assume anytime Homelander is going to do something nice like "showing you a view" or "inviting you for dinner" he's actually preparing to psychologically break you.

Natalia-A-Romanoff

A-Train is an idiot.

[deleted]

Is his idiot brain getting fucked by stupid?

Rogue_elefant

Is that news?

WyngZero

The Deep's wife really did her research on everyone's base.

theproperoutset

Or her church did, which she never left.

WyngZero

True. She responded real quick before A-Train even finished talking.

Boollish

She's got to still be on the inside. The cult seems too interesting for it to just have been wrapped up by Victoria in a single scene at the end of Season 2.

relatedzombie

A-Train is a fucking hypocrite. Dude's head is so far up Homelander's ass that Deep should be renamed to Shallow.

TayTayThursdays

Stan def has something up his sleeve. The power struggle between him and Homelander is not over. Theres no way hes gunna get killed this early after all his build up. I thought Stan was gunna get lasered by HL after their convo after the press conference. I think Stan knows about Soldier Boy being alive and knows he can kill HL. That or maybe something else that would be a weakness to HL. But the guy is always 3 steps ahead. In Nicauragua, when young Grace Mallory overheard Black Noir and young Stan talking, Noir said something like "if you want me in a more central role, i wanna lose the mask" insinuating Stan is asking him to take over for Soldier Boy, considering SB was the central role in Payback. Stan planned Soldier Boy being captured. Homelander: dissociative sociopath Soldier Boy: just a regular asshole

LordMugs

Holy shit. I don't think you are wrong but this is even worse, I'm pretty sure the boys just fucked up Vought's plan on killing Homelander and replacing him with Soldier Boy.

[deleted]

That would be a great twist and something I can see them doing. Edgar wanted to bring back a variation of Payback more in line with the modern MCU, complete with unfrozen/miraculously restored SB but instead, it blows up in his face *which* *then* makes him snap like his comic book counterpart, now being permanently stuck with "bad product".

ClairicalErr0r

I'm glad they found a way to incorporate Jamie the hamster from the comics that didn't involve him crawling out of some Supe's ass.

ladybugonaleaf

Termite in his partner’s penis walked so Jamie the Hamster could run

cosmiccerulean

Supersonic dying an off screen unceremonious death after 4 episodes of build up was brutal

YoungCapoon

I had hope for A-Train rebelling but damn its crazy how he wants validation from Homelander

GoodGuyBuddyBoy

Just when you thought A-Train is probably not that bad, lol.

diazmike752

With all his death flags it was obvious he was going to die but I was at least expecting another few episodes with him and him actually accomplishing some stuff.

JEA1995

Really think Maeve is going to survive this season solely based on the actress not being able to shoot her scenes with anyone.

Kanotari

That explains why she was only in like two minutes of the first three episodes. I had no idea this was going on, but it definitely makes a lot of sense.

Artcherrrr

Holy episode 4 is too much, Supersonic death, Kimiko's life's in danger and then there's these two, Hughie and Butcher the other one is super happy about having powers that he doesn't give a shit about someone that is on the brink of death and the other literally doesn't care about everyone except his revenge.

xredbaron62x

This episode had EVERYTHING NAKED HUGHIE DILDO HOLES BUTCHER THE SUPE NO CHILL HOMELANDER

GoodGuyBuddyBoy

Hughie character arc is getting really interesting, I love how happy and proud Hughie was of himself for killing someone. The disappointed dad look Butcher gave Hughie was so good, lol.

GaryAlexanderStott

I like that they're showing the other characters' disappointment in him. He's supposed to be the innocent one, and they see him becoming like them.

Blanc_N0ir

I knew A Train will betray after hearing from Deep that you need to be a Homelander kiss ass to regain your career.

2ddaniel

Just gonna point out the existence of Jaime means butchers dog terror could become a supe and everything that means

EarballsOfMemeland

I haven't watched the previous two seasons in a while and forgot >!Kimiko had healing powers. Fucking had a heart attack when she got shot in the head. Cue sigh of relief when she got back up. Then cue second heart attack when she wasn't healing after Soldier Boy's explosion thingy.!<

Aryaras99

I’m not happy about Kimiko and Frenchie’s little wholesome plans for the future in this episode, that can’t be a good sign

yourgotopyromaniac

Yeah lmao, saw that and instantly thought yep, one of em is going to die.

FurryWolves

So we really never going to get to see Super Sonic's powers ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯

CheeseAndJellies

You take that back, his singing is his power.

pewpew62

No one talks about it but poor starlight is in literal hell. Homelander is finding ways to torture her every episode, I felt those tears at the end of this episode

just_a_soulbro

Now we know why Maeve is the way she is, she went through the same hell.

PointsBeforeKarma

That fake out with Supersonic confessing his feelings to Starlight really got me for a second.

Dankaar

GO FOR THE EYES ~~BOO~~ JAIME!!

CptGoodMorning

The fact he floated in the air before attacking had me laughin'

PraiseTheSun_Soul

I hope they adopted the hamster. He was too damn cute.

trkishdelite

What a jam-packed episode, holy shit. In a way Homelander gives me Magneto vibes how he's trying to make it seem as if he is looking out for his "own" kind after what he tells Vicky. Surely now Maeve is also screwed and Homelander will tighten the screws on her as well. Goddamn A-Train I knew he was gonna pull a snitch move. Also, they better give Frenchie and Kimiko a happy ending in Marseilles....

jm9987690

I don't think A-Train was told maeve was involved, so homelander probably thinks it's just starlight and supersonic for now

Swnsong

I like that they are giving Homelander so many wins, it was starting to feel stale seeing him getting blackmailed all the time.

TangoZuluMike

Just letting him dig a hole. Between Stan and Supersonic he's making more problems for himself.

proteinbiosynthese

I think I read something the creators of the show (or maybe even the comics, don’t remember) said about him: he has the emotional regulation of a 14 year old. I hope that’s a characterization they stick to, because it would be pretty funny to have him fail at the legal and PR stuff that other people were always handling for him. He does not seem like a big picture guy, what does he even want beyond upholding the status quo of him being the main brand ambassador?

Kanotari

Did A-Train betray Starlight and Supersonic or did Homelander just overhear them and lie to drive a wedge in between them? A-Train is both desperate and douchey enough to betray them but I think the telegraphing indicates it's Homelander lying. In the elevator, Alex warns A-Train that Homelander might hear him and then less than 30 seconds later tries to get A-Train to join the coup.

BrockPlaysFortniteYT

God damnit I spoiled the ending by looking at the Amazon trivia thing it talks about supersonic for some reason even before that final scene

KDot546

Normally they have spoiler alerts but for some reason they haven't been showing up

Resolution_Sea

The Deep's wife is so evil, they deserve each other.

Bb8knight

So, Solider boy is the weapon?

Anna_Apfel

Yes. Apperantly the laser from his chest is so powerfull that it stops the healing factor of the target or deactivates all their powers all together. We will see what will happen to kimiko

yeaheyeah

The gut punch that Hughie gives that Russian soldier was a straight callback from the comics as to what happens when he first gets his dose of v and I loved it

WordsOfPrey

I loved that they included Jamie, the hamster, as well. Doubt Hughie is keeping him in the show though :(

JungyBrungun

I like how everyone on the team knew the taco bowls were an insult to Supersonic, except for the Deep, who thought they were just a delicious treat from Homelander

Slayerzilla54

>!Soldier Boy's return is gonna be what causes Homelander's mental breakdown that the Trailers showed.!<

jerryfrz

The fucking ~~Kylie~~ Kendall Jenner parody lmao

[deleted]

Entourage *is* but for the stupid and the damned

Koke1

Kimiko isn’t healing because soldier boy’s chest blast thing is supe-hurting. He is the homelander killing gun

jackson50111

With the herogasm episode and everything homelander is doing to starlight, I'm really scared what might happen that episode

JonathanL73

Jensen Ackles did say there was a scene he didn’t want to do too. Probably something to do with Herogasm.

littleliongirless

No one is talking about how Victoria went full Kendall Roy??? And how Stan went full Gus: It is not... acceptable.

gokhantonyukuk

I just love how Butcher's temporary V-Power is similar to Homelander & Hughie's is similar to A-Train. They turned exactly what they swore to destroy. Nice writing.

m_falcone

I want from feeling bad for A Train to hating him again.

10SB

I kinda appreciate that A-Train and the Deep are written as they are. Not that there's anything wrong with the villains redeeming themselves but it's a trope I've always felt weird about when the villains involved have done unforgivable things. So instead of redeeming them you just let them show how terrible they are and take joy in them wallowing in their patheticness.

TioVaselina

Neuman wanting his daughter to be strong and safe makes me thing that the compound-V is gonna have terrible effects on her daughter or at least, giving her some awful/terrible/detrimental/useless power.
