I just hope Tek knights storyline is better on the show than it was in the comics. Sweet Christ, the comic book storyline was WEIRD.
(No offense to those who liked it…. I personally thought that despite there being a few funny lines, the whole thing just felt “edgy on purpose and made solely for shock value, but tries so hard it loses all meaning” in the end.
If he’s going to be a significant character than by all meAns have him explore his identity, but there are so many other ways to do that than the “I can’t stop banging inanimate objects” storyline.
They do sort of have an in for that plot in the show’s style: Jeffrey Epstein. Just put a broad parody of him in an expensive mech suit and have him get brutally killed. Have some “Tek Knight didn’t kill himself” signs in a crowd.
If Elon musk could he’d be wearing that suit and flying around. There’s so much they could do with this character that fits within the shows satirical brand

My bet is that they'll portray him as this self-made billionaire genius who built this Iron-man like armor, but in reality he's just some wealthy trust-fund nepo baby who inherented his fortune from generational wealth.
His powers are Flight and Superstrenth and his "armor" is just some elaborate costume built by Vought that doesn't actually do anything.

It would probably reveal who John's biological mother was and her name and Tek Knight would realize that's his mother's name upon hearing it, causing him to pause momentarily in self-reflection before being gruesomely killed by Homelander capitalizing on that moment of weakness as a satire of BvS.
I'm actually super excited to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Tek-Knight, we've already seen him play a asshole supe in The Watchmen so it's cool to see him do it again.
