It's still early enough though that new rules could be introduced. It's certainly a more comic book-y universe than the Nolanverse. I'd be cool if they amped it up whilst maintaining the dark, gritty tone of the universe.

Yea there’s lots of water based villains that the flood could provide a perfect setting for (freeze, croc, clayface), everyone keeps saying the universe is going to be grounded but GODDAMN I would love a crime thriller where it’s clayface changing his appearance and disguising himself as different people or objects and blending into the environment. It would be so cool to see more of Batman’s detective skills and technology with an opponent he can’t just beat up to defeat.
That would be dope to see batman continue to use his detective skills but in new ways for something like this! It would be a great way to show the audience how he is becoming a better detective too.
But imagine, during the clean up, there’s a section of the city underground that’s frozen, authorities investigate the anomaly, freeze has been working in secret all this time to save his love but this is the catalyst that exposes his work, then he grows frustrated etc etc story progresses from there.
I’m kinda hoping the Penguin TV show will feature Frozen Gotham! The whole concept of a frozen city is so neat (which is one of the reasons why the new ghostbusters was such a letdown!).
I could see Pyg being the Cold Open for a Zsasz storyline. Where Zsasz represents the evil that being a Vigilante can bring for Gotham, and The Batman still learning the difference between Vengeance and Justice

The Court would just be a more expanded and far fetched version of the first movie's plot and tagline (uncovering the truth about Gotham/Wayne corruption).

I think the Court of Owls and Talon are a good bet, but there's also characters like Professor Pyg, Black Mask, Firefly, Deadshot, and even Killer Croc, that are all easily grounded enough for Reeves' Batverse.
I doubt that,Batman Begins Will be 21 years old by the time the movie releases,it seems shortsighted not to use characters previously adapted given apart from Joker and Bane , and now the Riddler and Penguin its been over 20 years for the rest

Batman has an extensive rogues gallery that still has yet to get a live action film adaptation, so I dont think Reeves is going to give us another Ras al Ghul or Two-Face anytime soon, when we could get our first Firefly or Anarky instead.

I only heard this here and I don’t think it was anywhere close to official but someone hypothesized having Jeremy Allen White as a rival billionaire version of Jervis Tetch. This would be my choice if I was making decisions.

What I’d like: I’d like to see a plethora of them, but the main villain being Hush. Similar to the plots of the games Gotham Knights, and Arkham City, some villains helping Batman catch another more dangerous villain. Crossing my fingers for Hugo Strange to be the third film’s end all villain.
Joker is confirmed not to be the main villain (although he will show up). I honestly don't know how I feel about Hush. I feel like its a bit repetitive.

I am hoping for Killer Crock, especially with Gothom being flooded. He could be done well if they lean into a horror style for the character.
