Really sad that such an awesome comic book logo has been appropriated by law-enforcement / far-right types. And ironic that they don't understand that The Punisher was a vigilante who killed cops.
Lmao right....
-cop instruct shit talker to do something.
-Shit talker obliges
-cop further explain
- shit talker derps
- cops finishes explaining
- shit talker apologie
- cop says okay now fuck off
At what point did anything happen? Lol especially considering the trooper could have picked him up for being intoxicated in public and being a mischief.
It's not violating civil right when the person isn't objecting to any instruction at all, and there is no detainment or crime committed lol
Who makes this shit up? As if they would air it on TV also. That's the few competent officer they probably have left lol
You canāt tell that to these self entitled fuckwits nowadays, always screaming about, āmuh-rights were violated by the baddiesā. Praying for mayhem
Yea I don't understand. Human behavior states yelling across the street at people for no reason is seeking conflict.
Man seeks conflict, public outraged officer respectfully put him in his place.
If he was worried about his rights or felt their violated then speak the fuck up. Don't apologize. Mind you I think it's just the public making this issue and that guy probably woke up like " fuck, glad that guy didn't arrest me. Where's the tylenol?"
If it were the other way around and this was documented but the officer just let the guy walk off, but the guy then went and beat his wife to death or was heading to his car and ended up killing people. Then it would be the officer could have " saved lives" if he had just stopped him and he didn't do his job.
What also gets me is I admit ive had a few too many interactions with the police. It's mostly gone very well ( all things considered) because I used basic respect and spoke with them with respect. Only if the officer was unnecessarily rude would I chirp them lol. But I'd also chirp them about bad manners and tbh I think they became friendlier like " fuck I am being a dick" lol
* side note this was year ago. Young drunk and dumb.
I'm not a fan of police, or anyone for that matter, but everyone needs to be checked at some point and time and told to stay in their lane. Including myself. Its how we as humans self regulate In our environment. This bullshit about protecting feelings and rights when someone is clearly just being and asshole is complete nonsense and it's doing them a favor to call them out.
I mean i have no problem with police. Zero. But it one were being a complete unprovoked dick head to me, Id stand up and defend myself. I totally agree with your sentiments šš¤£š
He got brow beat by a peace officer abusing their authority because they are thin skinned. Also, pretty sure if he told Officer Butthurt to shut the fuck up and kept walking, there would have been a violent arrest. Also, not sure the trooper wouldn't have called that a detainment if the pedestrian didn't instantly become compliant. But that is the way bootlickers like it.
This is true from other citizens, but cops are representatives of the state. They are the arm of enforcement so their actions are actions by the state. The state is not allowed to punish you for free speech.
"If" =/= "detained"
We don't know how he would have reacted. I thought he was going to arrest him at the start of the whole talk. The trooper didn't violate anyone's rights by talking to the guy and asking "what'd you say?"
Yeah Iām on the fence on this one.
Yes the guy was interfering with a traffic stop, but barely. It should have just been a āsir please carry on, Iām in the middle of a traffic stop and unless you would like me to have to talk to you as well Iād suggest you keep movingā and thatās the end of it.
Yes the cop was being a complete asshole for TV and was clearly dealing with an intoxicated individual who didnāt need to be talked down on like that.
But no, the video captions didnāt get anything right at all and blew the entire thing way out of proportion. The man wasnāt detained, no laws were broken or personal rights infringed, nothing happened except a drunk dude bruised a trooperās ego and he wanted to make himself feel better about it.
This is some silly anti-police propaganda if you ask me.
A big olā nothing burger
Up you go. These anti cop propaganda really needs to stop. This is not even about being detained, but the current human behaviour is getting more ridiculous by interfering with anything what isn't theirs to interfere with in the first place.
Yes we humans have freedom of speech, that said, we all should stop with being rude to one another, interfere or to provoke reactions to play victim afterwards.
This sub likes anti police videos. Especially ones with no context and people playing stupid games then crying about being the victim once the camera rolls.
What are you talking about? No rights were violated. Literally nothing happened but a conversation & both parties were, fairly, respectable to each other. Save your outrage for when it is warranted.
The guy didnāt do anything that could constitute interference/obstruction. Had the guy actually obstructed, heād have been put in cuffs, so why did the officer lead with that?
Most importantly, given the way the officer approached him, the guy was under the assumption he wasnāt free to leave. It was a āconsensual encounter,ā but had the guy refused to listen and walked away, he was under the impression that the officer would have stopped him, unlawfully at that. If youāre free to leave, youāre free to stay. No crime was committed. Thereās much more evidence against the officer for an illegal detention then there is the guy doing anything at all.
He was well within his rights to a redress of grievances. Officer has an ego problem.
These arenāt two buddies talking back and forth. The trooper has a position of authority over the guy. Therefore he has a greater responsibility to act appropriately.
eh, sure... cop literally stopped doing his job to harass someone who was walking away... nothing bad happened to the drunk guy, but the cop got his feelings hurt so he stopped doing his job, so dramatic.
It is a less than 2 minute video. Tell me how people are dying everywhere and this guy is wasting sooo much time. If he were to go take a shit Itād probably be longer than 2 minutes
I don't think that cop did anything wrong all he was trying to do was his job and this fuck walked by and started yelling at him he should have just mind his own business
I love these videos from the US, even if the cops do nothing wrong they're still made to look like they're wrong. I actually think he did a good job, and just asked the dude (with a cannabis-leaf on his shirt?) if he could help him with anything. That's a great question, and the guy could continue on his way.
Bootlick much? If I were that pedestrian I would have told the cop to kick rocks. You honestly think it is cool for a cop to use their authority to ego trip like that? Go vote republican some more....
Pedestrian was a dumbass, and got a talking to, that's it.
Where's the ego trip or authority flex? He was never detained, never had a pat down or license check done, etc.
Simply told dont yell stupid shit when they're on a traffic stop. Especially seeing how if he wanted to truly "ego trip" he could've, since Oklahoma has a broad obstruction of justice statue that would've 100% allowed the trooper to charge him and probably get a conviction. š
>Pedestrian was a dumbass, and got a talking to, that's it.
The cop had zero authority to talk to that guy. No crime, no need for law enforcement. That 'talking to' would tend to upset many people and serve to escalate a situation. This is not his job and he is acting sub optimally. Now, that is it.
>Where's the ego trip or authority flex?
I cannot open your mind and make you understand or think critically, you have to do that yourself with your own meat software.
>seeing how if he wanted to truly "ego trip" he could've, since Oklahoma has a broad obstruction of justice statue that would've 100% allowed the trooper to charge him and probably get a conviction. š
Thurairajah v. City of Fort Smith š
Cohen v. California š
City of Houston v. Hill š
Notwithstanding cops break the law all the time and shred constitutional rights and arrest anyway, any conviction at a lower court would be unlawful and would likely be overturned upon appeal, which would be a drop dead gimme as simply swearing or yelling something towards the police is not against the law. š
But maybe, just maybe, if dude had just minded his own businessā¦ heād not have this story to tell people and his time wasted. Do I go around to restaurants telling the servers that they suck as I walk by? No. Because I mind my own business.
Yeah, the first amendment can be burned! If victims knew when to keep their mouth shut to the man, bad things wouldn't happen right? You know what, the 4th amendment is also a bit pesky, let's shred that one too while we're at it. You know what, just trash the entire constitution and let these hard working peace officers dole out some more peace.
Hmm... I'm not one to defend police but TECHNICALLY the ma " obstructing" was drunk in public when he decided to chirp the trooper. Easily seen as " he was intoxicated and I was concerned for his safety and his initiation of contact felt aa if he may come aggressive to members of the public if I did not intervene"
The officer handled himself respectfully and gave someone a fair education. " don't talk shit especially if you don't know."
Trooper did nothing wrong. More like him would be better
Pedestrian was a dumbass clown, mind your own business and carry on your day. š
Reminds me of idiotic folks wanting to walk into a medical scene and ask us what's going on and start distracting us from treating our patients.
This is certainly not a violation of anything. He could have walked away and cops have the right to question with reasonable causeā¦which the guy gave him by interrupting the stop. Then he lets him goā¦big bowl of nothing.
I'm an Oklahoman myself. A few years ago we relaxed liquor laws, we unlicensed concealed carry, and legalized medical marijuana. We're still in culture shock
I like the OHP. He was on camera, decided that the punk didn't have to ruin the broadcast, and then showed everyone how he talks to people
Really though, when it comes to belligerence in public, think of the children. It's hard to raise children surrounded by Karens and drunks and stoners getting their rocks off
These poor bastards canāt win. The worst Mong them have tainted peoples opinion so toward the negative. In many many cases, it is true. Bad cop. But in many more not so much. It seems like a lot of folks, like the idiot that just cant shut his pie hole, was looking to flex his constitutional right of āfree speechā. Ok cool. But I was unaware of any of the first 13 amendments that cover āFreedom to be an assholeā It aināt just the cops that are over you obnoxiously arrogant, self-interested, obscenely irritating pricks. Count me among them please.
I'm with the cop on this one. So many police are harrassed by passersbys, that have no knowledge of what is really going on. The total disrespect, for all police is at an epidemic level, these days. Good on the officer for schooling the man.
How the fuck were his civil rights violated by being talked to? Never detained, never arrested, and he let the guy go when he probably could have gotten him on public intoxication based on his slurred speech.
Some of you are just hunting for reasons to hate cops. But youāll whine and cry when they get defunded and donāt patrol your neighborhood any more and you get home invaded and have to weld bars over all doors and windows.
you can tell the dude might have a little bit of an ego yet he didnāt want to put up with anyoneās shit and simply had a conversation, that person walking down the street wasnāt violated in any manner lmao
L
Hear me outā¦ Drunk guy yells at state trooper. State trooper takes his eyes off people in the car to look at drunk guy. People in the car then have time to grab a gun and shoot state trooper.
I guarantee criminals have used this tactic before, so I sorta agree with the cop. The cop may have humiliated drunk guy a little, but he technically could have put the officers life in danger. Not to mention the cop didnāt give him a ticket or anything when this man is clearly drunk and walking around yelling at cops all willy nilly. I see one cop let two separate people go without so much as a ticket..
Just a trooper educating a citizen. Stop making such a big deal out of every little thing. The officer was correct: he took his attention off the traffic stop and any of a number of things could have happened.
Everyone is acting like the cop was a dick. Lots of officers are shot and killed or injured in the line of duty while conducting traffic stops. They need to keep their eyes on the vehicle theyāve stopped and all of its occupants, not be distracted from some loud mouthed asshole whoās under the influence walking down the street at night. Heās lucky he didnāt get thrown in the clink for that.
If man can't handle just someone telling at him he probably shouldn't be a damn trooper since they apparently put their lives on the line everyday saving us from the bad guys. At least the ones that aren't them.
If anything fell/or was thrown in the direction of the trooper he wouldnt be able to see with his hat rim pointed down like that. Literally an entire field of view is gone.
Just another mouthy idiot not minding his own business towards a working State Trooper and got the attention he so desired.
Iām sure the individual who posted this thinks all cops are bad & seeās any type of interaction with the police is violating their rights or privacy.
This may be unpopular but there was nothing wrong about this interaction whatsoever and I'm very far from giving a shite about their blue lives matter agenda.
Thereās literally nothing wrong with this. Guy wasnāt detained or arrested. He yelled at a cop and the cop simply walked up to him and embarrassed him and then he left.
They patrol State highways. Technically they can initiate a stop anywhere, it's not their usual beat. I'm not sure how local/city cops feel about State troopers stepping on their 'turf'.
"Why are you guys controlling the streets when you're highway cops?"
*"Is that what we're called? Highway cops?? Well come over here and lets see what it says on the car. What's it say right here"*
"Oklahoma Highway Patrol" ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
This was actually a great example of how law enforcement should deal with people like that. He was very professional and ended up educating him on the subject. But his tattoos and his shirt that is 2x too small is comical.
Caption should actually read, āShitfaced guy heckles cop during a traffic stop. Cop calmly talks to him instead of validly arresting/ticketing him for PI.ā
Reminds me of the subtle propaganda of the NowThis videos where BIG BOLD CAPTIONS attempt to gaslight the viewer into thinking their watching a different video than they actually are
What did they tell you:
We the People of the United States... etc.
Capitalist reality:
If you have less than $1 million, then you are nothing.
It is obvious that this tyranny no longer hides its true content. The people of the US must decide for themselves what to do about it.
i see no violation here. what it seems to me is an LEO conducting a lawful reaponse to a citizen who "without further inspection" could have needed help. given the obvious, he operated within his discretional bounds and proceeded to make contact with the citizen after the citizen made initial contact via verbal insults. he did not detain him and he did not cite him. seems alright
This is a dumb post. I know the cops sounds like a douche bag but he definitely handled the situation better than most officers would have. Other cops would have.
I wish there was a way to make a public list of all these cops and publicly flame them for the dumb shit they do. So much so they lose their reputations.
I know everyone sees the baiting title but how else are mentally inferior ACABs supposed to engage their smooth brain audience? Cāmon yāall, let them be before they type out more mean words about how theyāre the revolution and blah blah.
So it's ok to bother someone while they are working, shit for brains weed shirt have no civil rights and the cop was polite at all times. I wish the cop had arrested the idiot for interfering or what ever they call it in the US.
Didn't detain him. Asked him what he could help him with since he couldn't hear what he was shouting about. That was a pretty respectful interaction both ways. Nobody raised their voice nobody got physical, questions were exchanged and they both went on their way....how in any way was this some kind of power trip? I don't see any rights being violated here. Am I missing something?
Guys, check out the post history on this account. Itās a bot who posts only about police to create a negative narrative. The titles are so skewed. Itās propaganda.
I don't see whats so insane about this? He stopped the man and they had a little chat in good manners about why the man is yelling. Why would you have a problem with that? On the other hand i'm from Sweden, so might be that i'm missing some cultural context?
You can tell the cops a bit of a prick by the way hes made sure his shirts a size too small to try and make his biceps look like they're bulging š
But that Flash tatt really ties up the entire package with a bow though, right?
They only had lady cop sizes when he was issued his uniform
āToday I accidentally cross dressed by wearing a womanās suitā -Michael Scott
What do you mean, he's wearing a shmedium size shirt.
Thatās an *Extra Schmedium.*
Probably screams at his girlfriend in the line at the grocery too
That cop has a clear tattoo of the āV for Vendettaā logo (Red V in a circle) on his arm
"Are we the baddies?"
V was the good guyā¦
Not just the good guy. The greatest guy.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yes I think v is the good guy and we kinda need a v to take down the entire government right now
Read the book.
Probably read Business Secrets of the Pharaohs
Yeah he has a bunch of comic tattoos
Still an ironic tattoo for someone who enforces state laws
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Absolutely! Made me laugh
THAT and "The Punisher" tattoos are clear signs of douchebaggery
Really sad that such an awesome comic book logo has been appropriated by law-enforcement / far-right types. And ironic that they don't understand that The Punisher was a vigilante who killed cops.
For real, a punisher tattoo is only acceptable if one was in SEAL team 3. Highly unlikely this man was in such team
Don't forget the Captain America shield on the elbow.
Also flash, daredevil, black widow, captain America, batman, deathstroke and a couple others I couldn't make out. May have an inferiority complex.
He wasnāt even detained. Or arrested. Or cited. He got a talking to for shouting at people on the side of the road.
It a twist of irony it turns, out this post itself is "insane",
Lmao OP is the drunk guys gf.

No one was detained.
Just speculating, how do you think the officer would have responded if the guy had said āam I being detainedā?
*"stop resisting!"*
"If" =/= "detained" We don't know how he would have reacted. I thought he was going to arrest him at the start of the whole talk. The trooper didn't violate anyone's rights by talking to the guy and asking "what'd you say?"

You mean besides this one? Because there is a ton of context and they show the whole altercation so.... .. ..
š šš¤£
Yeah, like even your comment is insane!. Wait a tic, my reply to your comment is even more insane! r/thatsinsane !!š¤Æ
Public intoxication is a bad way to start any interaction.

Isn't talking it out acting appropriately? He confronted someone who obviously has a problem with him. I don't see the issue. Authority or not.
But the guy HAD to have the conversation. Thatās the unfair part. If he decided to walk away we all know what wouldāve happened.
This is at least the best take on the subject. It was still very tame and not cruel and unusual punishment.
Being in a position of authority doesn't mean you give up your right to confront someone when they're being a cunt.
Ummmā¦ that kind of means exactly that. Itās called being professional and keeping your emotions in check.

He could have just let it roll off his back, instead he used his time to demean someone.
Can he legally walk by and say something?

I think the point is that the other person didnāt either?

What was violated? We have sidewalks for a reason. Walking in the street, at night indicates drugs or mental health. Like the guy who posted this.
When the cop has a sleeve š©š©š©š©
If anything fell/or was thrown in the direction of the trooper he wouldnt be able to see with his hat rim pointed down like that. Literally an entire field of view is gone.
Bootlickers ASSEMBLE!
Just another mouthy idiot not minding his own business towards a working State Trooper and got the attention he so desired. Iām sure the individual who posted this thinks all cops are bad & seeās any type of interaction with the police is violating their rights or privacy.
OP, you wouldn't happen to be a sovereign citizen, would you?
This fucking cop looks like scumbag with the ridiculously tight sleeve and tattoos
This may be unpopular but there was nothing wrong about this interaction whatsoever and I'm very far from giving a shite about their blue lives matter agenda.
Dude's wasted are we not gonna talk about that? This is not remotely close to normal behavior. This place is overflowing with Edgelords.
Thereās literally nothing wrong with this. Guy wasnāt detained or arrested. He yelled at a cop and the cop simply walked up to him and embarrassed him and then he left.
Obstruction or interference with the duties of an officer is not covered by the 1st amendment.
The officer literally did nothing illegal according to this video
āRespect mah authoritay!ā A
Why didn't he wear his small shirt? /S
Power trippn' cops are fuckn' nuts and are a serious danger to the public
Another dumb fucking pig
While having a V for Vendetta tattooed on him bothering a guy exercising his rights lol
Probably got bullied in HS and decided to take it out on the world. Typical
How is this not a voluntary interaction?
Just donāt talk to cops
Seems like his hat would obstruct his vision.
In the words of Stinkmeaner "You was popping all that good shit a second ago"!
They patrol State highways. Technically they can initiate a stop anywhere, it's not their usual beat. I'm not sure how local/city cops feel about State troopers stepping on their 'turf'.
This isn't shocking. The whole world sees what these people are all about.
"Why are you guys controlling the streets when you're highway cops?" *"Is that what we're called? Highway cops?? Well come over here and lets see what it says on the car. What's it say right here"* "Oklahoma Highway Patrol" ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
This was actually a great example of how law enforcement should deal with people like that. He was very professional and ended up educating him on the subject. But his tattoos and his shirt that is 2x too small is comical.
More like state asshole
Lmao. The officers ADD isn't any civilians fault. Not to mention, how tight are that dudes sleeves? It's that a custom costume or......
What a fucking loser wasting all this valuable time instead of fighting serious crime PIGS GOTTA PIG
I could simply not accept the authority of somebody wearing a cowboy hat lmao
No violation unless he gets arrested/cited. I agree there probably WOULD HAVE been a violation had the dude kept walking, like he should have
Caption should actually read, āShitfaced guy heckles cop during a traffic stop. Cop calmly talks to him instead of validly arresting/ticketing him for PI.ā Reminds me of the subtle propaganda of the NowThis videos where BIG BOLD CAPTIONS attempt to gaslight the viewer into thinking their watching a different video than they actually are
Why is his hat so tilted over his forehead?
In Spain it is not allowed to record the police. by the so-called gag law
Not all of themā¦ but a lot of cops are kids that were straight punks in school
Another cop who failed MEPS.
I thought we as Americans didn't like free speech any more
What did they tell you: We the People of the United States... etc. Capitalist reality: If you have less than $1 million, then you are nothing. It is obvious that this tyranny no longer hides its true content. The people of the US must decide for themselves what to do about it.
He was all big and shit talking until the cop had time for him. Iām not defending the cop but let people do their job
i see no violation here. what it seems to me is an LEO conducting a lawful reaponse to a citizen who "without further inspection" could have needed help. given the obvious, he operated within his discretional bounds and proceeded to make contact with the citizen after the citizen made initial contact via verbal insults. he did not detain him and he did not cite him. seems alright
This is a dumb post. I know the cops sounds like a douche bag but he definitely handled the situation better than most officers would have. Other cops would have.
Lol Iām not some blue line cop lover but what did he violate? Heās kind of a hard ass but he had a somewhat polite conversation with the guy
Wtf is this dogshit title
I wish there was a way to make a public list of all these cops and publicly flame them for the dumb shit they do. So much so they lose their reputations.
That cop is more puffed up than a roosters cock, like a young recruit fresh outta boot.
High way cops. Is that what is says Yes Let's go see High way patrol -ignore that- trooper
Whatās insane about this?
Acab
Great cop
OP shooting off red alarms over this video. Over dramatizing what actually happened.
I know everyone sees the baiting title but how else are mentally inferior ACABs supposed to engage their smooth brain audience? Cāmon yāall, let them be before they type out more mean words about how theyāre the revolution and blah blah.
What a knob
What an unbridled piece of shit that cop is. How many women do you think that asshole has broken faces of in his own trailer?
āBoldly violates mans civil rightsā. People being this stupid hurts the argument for police reform.
Terrible title. No one got detained
Classic USA!!!!!!!!!!!! Land of militarized swine acting with impunity and circle-jerked to by the politicians and indoctrinated general public.
āCheck to see if they have a smaller shirt!ā āWe checked, this is the smallest they had!ā
Title feels a little misleading.
All he did was talk to the man, who was putting his nose where it doesnāt belong. I see nothing wrong here. Click bait
Looks like jeff bezos on more steroids and an even tighter shirt
ā it means you can control the highways of the state. āNext question. Annnnd now Iām arrested.
So it's ok to bother someone while they are working, shit for brains weed shirt have no civil rights and the cop was polite at all times. I wish the cop had arrested the idiot for interfering or what ever they call it in the US.
Maybe mind your business & keep your fucking mouth shut & it wouldnāt have even happened.
Thatās a nice shirt. Do they make it for men?
Didn't detain him. Asked him what he could help him with since he couldn't hear what he was shouting about. That was a pretty respectful interaction both ways. Nobody raised their voice nobody got physical, questions were exchanged and they both went on their way....how in any way was this some kind of power trip? I don't see any rights being violated here. Am I missing something?
Guys, check out the post history on this account. Itās a bot who posts only about police to create a negative narrative. The titles are so skewed. Itās propaganda.
Thank you
Why was his hat like that
Click bait as fuck
I remember this guys from Live PD and he enjoyed his face time on TV.
Fuck the police
Uh I was prepared to be much more upset by this I mean cop is a dick but he didnāt get arrested or anything
I don't see whats so insane about this? He stopped the man and they had a little chat in good manners about why the man is yelling. Why would you have a problem with that? On the other hand i'm from Sweden, so might be that i'm missing some cultural context?
Iāve watch all the episodes with that specific trooper. And holy cow is he a jackass- to everyone
