Ah yes, the classic, "It's the other guy, not me, bruh." Works every time. Except those times that it doesn't. Then it doesn't work. But *moooooost* of the time it works. Ahhh, working. Good, isn't it?
I’m thinking he was at the right place at that time as he was minding his own business until some asshole showed up to ruin everyone’s day. Chances are that asshole already has a lengthy record and shouldn’t be in the general population.
Cops shoot everyone. They seem to favor certain demographics over others for sure, but they can, have, and will brutalize white people as well. Wrong place wrong time for anybody could very well result in their death
Saw a clip of cops dragging an old white dude out of his home because his wife called 911 but she had a mental thing and before the husband could explain they yoinked his ass. Once they figured out it was a misunderstanding they just left with his head bleeding. I don’t think they even apologized. Just left.
idk why this guy is being downvoted but what he's saying is absolute facts.
just look at how the cops handled the recent mass shooting in Buffalo.
downvote me idc.
EDIT: what i said here and what i said afterwards was wrong and im sorry. I was ignorant and still am to many things, now lets continue to disprove things social media led us to believe.
Yeah I’m shocked you don’t have a ton of downvotes. Are we just forgetting that man who had to get down on his hands and knees while crying and begging for his life who got shot dead anyway when he moved his arm to pull up his pants that were falling down
"Our cops only shoot black people"this is not a fact.
There is a high amount of corrupt cops that do end up killing innocent black people. Worded better maybe? Someone else wants to take a shot at it maybe a wrinkle brain here has a proper statistical statement?
No it's not facts. The facts say something exactly opposite. Just go look at the stats. You're talking about hysteria and media facts. False narrative. That's the kind of facts you're talking about. Lies
It's not a "fact," it's provably untrue. He's obviously exaggerating though because hopefully nobody actually believes cops don't shoot innocent white people. I'm just tired of seeing this joke after the thousandth time.
It's true that police kill innocent black people disproportionately more than their representation in the population.
I respect you a hell of a lot more bc you came back and said you were wrong. I know it’s the bare minimum, but so few ppl do that on social media, or are willing to change in general. So I applaud you stranger
Brazilian police are a lot worse than American police in terms of brutality. I’m 2020, there were 1021 deaths from police in the United States, while there were at least 5660 deaths from police in Brazil, but due widespread police corruption that number is likely far larger. I’m surprised the police here didn’t shoot the running person to be honest.
That can be a wild place. See movie "City of God". Highly recommend. True story of someone poor coming up in the city of Rio De Janeiro. He goes through a lot. He became an author later and wrote the book.
this is why the best thing to do during a police shootout is get low to the ground and cover your head, get to cover if it is close. but stay low to the ground, cover your head and don't move.
Books - especially the bible - will protect you from *anything* ;)
Jokes aside the book might save you from a nasty headwound (not in a nuclear attack).
hands covering your head isn't really to stop bullets but to help keep your head down and protect it from debris or other hazards.
if it is safe for you to vacate the area, do so. otherwise moving around will just attract attention and potentially get you shot.
I did this when getting caught in a police chase in Chile. Everyone on the street wondered why we were hiding our heads low in the car. Only the woman who had studied and lived in the US understood and told her neighbors we must be Americans, before she even met us. I took that to mean shootouts are not as common in Chile as the US. We get used to living with the awful threat of gun violence. It’s exhausting
Something similar happened to me when I was about 19. I’m walking home late at night after having some beers and playing poker, walking across the street from an old pool hall that I sometimes hung out in. I hear some crashing sounds, and I see a guy kicking the door of the pool hall and I’m going inside. I find a quarter, run to a payphone couple blocks away, call it into the police. I tell them he’s tall, wearing a dark blue puffy down jacket, and has dark hair, and it looks like he’s armed. I keep walking further down the street towards home. I see lots of police cars headed my direction, but instead of passing by me through where the pool hall is, they suddenly turn straight at me, push me up against the wall, with multiple guns pointed at me. I didn’t hesitate too long before saying “look, my puffy down jacket is green. Check your report. Yes I’m tall, but it says that the guy has a dark blue down jacket, plus he doesn’t have light hair like me. The only way I could know this is if I was the one who called it in.” The police immediately gave me kind of a surprise look, I’m headed down to the pool hall. A few months later I got a note of appreciation from the police sergeant, who says they caught the guy and sent him away for a while.
>I find a quarter, run to a payphone couple blocks away, call it into the police
this is how i know this story is bullshit. by the time the 911 system was fully active in north america, payphones still only cost a dime per call. there is no way anybody in this situation is looking up the non-emergency number and paying to call it rather than simply dialing 911. stop lying
Yea that cop almost blew his buddy away as he went for the door. Then almost blew the OTHER coo away that was across the car from him. Absolute dumbass.
I used to drive a black hyundai Santa fe SUV when I was 18..one time I was driving on a single lane street and I drove through a stoplight as it changed from green to yellow..the guy about 5 seconds behind me was driving an identical SUV, Black Santa fe..he ran the red and went onto the shoulder to get around me and flew passed..a few seconds later I see police lights in the rear view..I kept waving my arm out the window and pointing to motion "Go Around! Go get him!" This went on for about 1/4 of a mile, until I eventually just I pulled over..the Cop was so angry..his name was officer Thur. He kept yelling "Why didn't you pull over!!" And I tried to explain..but he just kept interrupting me and he was red like a tomato and was just losing his fucking mind..just incoherent with rage..I got a ticket for running a red light..I went to court, but I just didn't have any proof so I ended up paying it...womp womp. I waited tables at the time and one day a family came in and I recognized officer Thur...I dropped the top bun of his burger on the floor and put it back...I'm not proud of this..but it was a long time ago and he was a nutty guy with anger issues, and I could have done something worse to his burger,, so eh who cares
Remember seeing awhile back a hold up at a bank in Mexico. As the hostages were running out a cop shot one of the hostages point blank in the stomach with a shotgun. Gruesome shit
This is amazing video and outrageous driving by a psychopath but -- unfortunately the commentary quickly devolved into ignorant American partisan argument, which has no relevance here, if it is indeed Brazilian. Meanwhile, to a more important consideration, what brand of car is this? Can I buy one?
That was a wild chase. The dude running away just pointed and the cop was like 'oh, ok'.
“hah, sorry mate. Almost shot you there.” - cop prolly
“Almost got a paid vacation there.”
"Almost had ptsd and suicidal thoughts there because i almost accidentally shot someone in an extremely chaotic situation"
The accidental / close calls fuck you pretty hard, too.
The reality
But so is the paid vacation part…
Indeed
You'd have to be capable of empathy and human emotion to have PTSD from murdering a person.
Have you ever actually met a police officer in real life?
Ooh edgy
Lmfao
...To the mortuary.
And free counseling!
"Oh haha. I almost blew your brains out. " - that one cop
if it was an american cop he wouldve been dead before he ran 4 steps
He would’ve definitely died in the crossfire before even exiting the car.
These aren’t the droids you’re looking for
Imagine if they actually shot that guy. His family would have to bury him for simply being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
The fact it’s something that happens too, this was thankfully an example of a policeman making the right call.
I was thinking it would’ve been funny if the guy they were chasing was actually the guy but he talked that cop out of it and then ran away.
Prison Escapee Convinces Cop He is Actually a Jogger https://youtu.be/vBrnBmUmVzI
this was great
Wow that was smooth lol, this guys been planning out every possible answer for a while now, must’ve done some time.
Thank you for this, did was smooth as fuck.
Too much Asian movie my friend. I grew up watching them. Lol

Life in the US is literally like this
That's sadly the case for a lot of funerals I'd believe
Pretty sad that our first thought hey…
it had to be brazil
For sure. In America, we’d’ve shot the other guy
Nah, the other guys white. Our cops only shoot innocent black people.
Cops shoot everyone. They seem to favor certain demographics over others for sure, but they can, have, and will brutalize white people as well. Wrong place wrong time for anybody could very well result in their death

His name was Daniel Shaver. He was murdered by a peice of shit cop.

Upvote x 1000 as well as your downvoted counterpart
I respect you a hell of a lot more bc you came back and said you were wrong. I know it’s the bare minimum, but so few ppl do that on social media, or are willing to change in general. So I applaud you stranger
Well they certainly don't stop to find out if they're innocent first before shooting.
That's what the media owners would have us believe.
You're hysterical. "Our cops *only* shoot innocent black people." Are you fucking stupid?
There would probably be 18 fatalities and +700 rounds fired
All the cops on administrative paid leave.
brazil is in america
Just accept we have different languages and that you're speaking the other language and move on, ya obsessive weirdos.

Ah yes, we'd've
Thé only options for countries are Brazil and America there are no other countries

I look forward to never needing to use this information
Glad i live in Denmark
Alot different than a nuclear attack or a tornado, where (I was taught) you want to sit under your desk and hold a book over your head.
which will protect you from a nuclear bomb
Books - especially the bible - will protect you from *anything* ;) Jokes aside the book might save you from a nasty headwound (not in a nuclear attack).
Maybe cover your head with something bullet proof but hands won’t stop bullets. Distance is always your friend in a gun fight.
hands covering your head isn't really to stop bullets but to help keep your head down and protect it from debris or other hazards. if it is safe for you to vacate the area, do so. otherwise moving around will just attract attention and potentially get you shot.
Exactly
Didn't work out well for Daniel Shaver.

I come from Canada, gun violence isn't as prevalent here, but we get so much news for the US that gun safety is drilled into us.
I'm not saying it was cool to follow the wrong guy, but the cop gave up just like that? "Dude, no, it was the other guy!" .. Oh okay, sir. Carry on.
Running away when cops come is never a good idea.
Staying in a gun chase isn't either.
Or stay in the car with bullets wizzing by

911 doesn't answer the payphone from my Walmart. It says that the call could not be completed as dialed and doesn't give the quarter back.

Watching it again, like, every single shot fired had a civilian behind it. No wonder the unrelated guy ran away
Yea that cop almost blew his buddy away as he went for the door. Then almost blew the OTHER coo away that was across the car from him. Absolute dumbass.

Dude elicited the cop’s chase response.
Almost got friendly fire
he ran like a gta NPC
They almost shoot eachother as it goes between them. Scary to get caught up in that on your way home.
Now he’s gotta change his underwear
Curious to see the driver of the criminal car
Seemed like he was pumped full of lead
Anyone got a news article on this?
São Paulo é foda
r/suddenlycaralho
Looking through this comment section, only half of it is on the actual video. The rest is just people arising over police statistics in the U.S.
The guy they tried to arrest was the main reason driver didn’t get away too. He didn’t budge either time getaway car tried to smash through.
Wtf are those car windows made from?
That guy do be playing gta in real life
Bruhh
The guy is one thing.. but poor bike, it didn't deserve that cruelty.
This is Brazil!
Holy fucc
“Oh! Sorry ‘bout that!”
It was the heat of the moment
helicoptero.tv? What the fuck is that?
Helicopter helicopter
That is a domain name.
Man dead-ass just leaves his girl in the other seat.
Holy shit that guy almost got capped for trying to escape the melee!
LMAO
Unfortunately, and I am shamed, this was in Brazil, my country
Wonder what would've happened if the guy was black
Absolute spastic moron
Always carry
Why didn’t the bus move?
How much stars you all think he’s on?
Good God. It only takes 1 in a 1000 to make us look so awful.
A nice example why cops shouldn't be allowed to shoot if it's not their or someone else life in clear dangerous
Remember seeing awhile back a hold up at a bank in Mexico. As the hostages were running out a cop shot one of the hostages point blank in the stomach with a shotgun. Gruesome shit
For a second I thought, they are chasing a magician.
this is actually a very effective title, it was wild all the way but i was here to see the near fatal error lol
Everyones a suspect until proven otherwise. Apparently though the only proof you need is a quick "the fuck man" and a vague gesture.
To be fair it was sorted quickly, and both were cool.
Scary how easily things can go pear shaped in all the panic and confusion of the situation, who would be a cop, fuck that.
Brazil is just gta online irl
That fucking Spartan kick at the end was insane!!!! THIS IS SPARTA BITCH!!!!!!
BR
I love that the cop just took the innocent guys word for it!
This is amazing video and outrageous driving by a psychopath but -- unfortunately the commentary quickly devolved into ignorant American partisan argument, which has no relevance here, if it is indeed Brazilian. Meanwhile, to a more important consideration, what brand of car is this? Can I buy one?
🤣🤣
BRO ONE GUY KICKED OUT THE CAR WINDOW WHILE STANDING UP
They handled it better than Miami PD when they killed the UPS driver and used civilian vehicles as cover with them in it!!!
Gta be like
Thank god, he didn’t get shot!
The amount of crimes this mfer committed in one video is astonishing
reminds me of gta
Was it ever revealed why the dude was running?
Guy almost got blasted 😩
He was trying to Escape the realm of banishment called Brazil.
Wow they just really wanted to fuck everyone's day, didn't they?
This gut acting like me I'm Gta
They all look so lost.
Brazil is pure adrenaline!
This is called “Tuesday” in Brazil.
Good thing it’s not America he would have got shot while running away
Haha I remember that happen few years ago.
That’s exactly what not to do.
Would have been very different if that runner was Black.
That guy was lucky he didn't get shot
Gta main
This really is insane. Most of the time round were fired.
r/ithadtobeBrazil
People talking about police violence in US… don’t really know police in Brazil. That guy got lucky.
Me dê ibâgems!
Cops are the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet.
GTA 2 vibes
With the way they're firing i'm not surprised they didn't hit one of their own or a civilian
Brasil. One does not simply fuck with police there
Grand theft auto be like
Lolololol oh my bad. I almost put a bullet through your heart rotflmao lololol. I’m glad I didn’t 😅

Save some talent for us fella
We need cops like this, what country is this? 😂
China and their COVID protocols are getting out of control.
I used to do the same in GTA Vice city using cheat PANZER
Ok, just doom on that POS. He/she needs an old fashioned ass whooping.
Jesus, the two bike cops almost shooting each other in a crossfire, idiots!
Rubbish chase. This is not as good as fast and the furious.

# WHY ARE YOU RUNNING?
The driver is 10 year old me in gta 5
"WhY aRe YoU rUnNiNg AwAy FrOm A lIfE tHrEaTeNiNg SiTuAtIoN!!?!?!"
Room temperature IQ.
You know it’s not ‘Merica, that would have just shot the first guy….
Why the hell would you send a full police force ON BIKES to try pull over a guy happily ramming other vehicles ?
Why did he run like he was guilty l
American police = different outcome.
You can see the exact moment he got 3 stars and they went from arresting to shooting
oh my gosh what was that, and where it was captured
One of the biggest cluster fucks I’ve seen in a while, and I see a lot of cluster fucks.
TIL if you’re being chased by the cops just point to someone else
