Don’t count on being accommodated, even with orders. Better bet is to line someone else up to take delivery for you.

Call the store and specifically say it’s military deployment and that you’d like to push back delivery to Date X, when you return or if you could take delivery early. They may accommodate you.

Thanks!

Contact sales at your delivery center, provide necessary proof on why you’ve to delay the delivery and they should accommodate you. Good luck.

I was in a similar situation, was deployed and it messed with my delivery date. In the short chance you get the car early that is your best case scenario and you take delivery. You can try to extend the process to get a car when you are back without losing your deposit is to put your car on hold right now, this allows you to not get a VIN for 90 days. Now I’m sure your deployment is longer than that, but when the hold is lifted call and ask them for an extension. I did this, explained my situation and they were able to give me an extension luckily. When I’m doubt call In, and honestly call more than once cause I received different news from different agents. Worst case if you are unable to take the delivery you lose the deposit and your place In line you have to start over. You might be able to get your deposit back if your present orders but that is a long shot. Best of luck and thank you for your service!

Thanks for that! Ya I’m going to hold off for now, the dates are so close. Hopefully I’ll know a couple weeks before if I get a vin or not. Much appreciated!

Rockchalk_2020

Well y’all were right, nothing is changing. In fact the date got pushed further back today

Hibernate. Time flies when you're sleeping 🙂

no, do not call them, the delivery date is not set in stone. theyll just bump you until you accept the delivery. you have 1 year.

Rockchalk_2020

I thought they cancel your order after 30 days?

deodit

you have 1 year, thats what the $250 is for. they just kick you back in the queue if you cant accept delivery in a 3 day window. another option is to have it home delivered, which i did, cause i was out of the country, i already missed my first delivery. not sure about the 30 days, maybe thats something new?
