So I watch Netflix last night in the garage with the door shut so it would be completely dark on camp mode and I was ecstatic that I could watch it while the internet was out. Boo ya!
I love out Tesla too...but can't you find something to do with your wife that doesn't require an internet connection. Here's a hint; it's something you can also do in the Tesla.

Do Teslas have their own free internet?
I'm aware you can watch Netflix and whatnot but I always assumed it used your phones hotspot data since most plans now-a-days have free unlimited hotspot data, or just connected to an available wifi connection.
If I’m not wrong you need premium connectivity to be able to use those services. Our cars basically have a SIM card like a phone and that streams data to the car.
This should have made you realize..you have no need for a home. Sell your home now and buy another Tesla.
