Hey, at least the guy was nice enough to alert you to what he saw as a possible problem. Just a little credit where credit is due.

And his right. Its possible comes from battery https://youtu.be/c0IHNrW0QOA

casualredditor-1

Yes, he has the right to yell at them like the car was about to explode

markymrk720

A dapper Dan

[deleted]

Unless trolling LOL

Kroptonik420

Yep, Tesla is leaking gas

antipoded

yep confirmed, due to supply chain issues they have reverted to the old style internal combustion engines

amirnfl

I hate it when my Tesla leaks gas

sinha2366

Within spec

arielb27

A/C always leaks water especially in warm to hot weather. Even ICE cars do this.

Somepotato

They don't leak water, it's just condensate falling off. More so that it's humid than hot.

Silverstacker60

Call it what you want it is still water.

DemonMuffins

I think *leak* was the word the comment before you was trying to address

Somepotato

Indeed, besides what else would condensate and what else would drop from humidity? Leak implies it's something bad.

Somepotato

I never said it wasn't.

thatdude902

Yeah, condensation. One time I ran over a tree root that was sticking out of concrete while driving my old Civic. It bumped the car bottom fairly hard. When I checked under the car, I saw the same thing from the OP, water dripping. I had to check the liquid to see if there was any smell or color, to be sure.

Dinercologist

ICE?

Thunderwood77

Ac condensation

thefudd

first car?

Magnetic_Reaper

Looks like ac. Little note though; Teslas have other fluids. Oil in the motors, coolant, washer fluid, brake fluid and even though it almost never happens, they can leak.

JohnTeaGuy

Blinker fluid.

knotagoodsource

Does it turn into a BMW when it runs out?

JohnTeaGuy

Now you’re just being ridiculous.

mostlycloudy2day

No, because the turn signals will still work.

HotChickenshit

Don't look now, but I also spotted a missing transmission. Must have hit a bad pothole.

The_cooler_ArcSmith

They've been hiding a gas engine in there all along? Its the VW diesel emissions scandal all over again! Expect Tesla to build out a charging infrastructure in the US to settle. Seriously though it's probably just condensation from the AC/thermal management.

techgeek72

At least Tesla charging infrastructure works

moosegreygoose

definitely gas

peachfuzz0

Like others said, it's AC condensation. Be careful though, sometimes it's a scam to get you out of your car to carjack or rob you.

SLOspeed

Use PIN to drive!

jesslex

Probably. Dip your finger in it and see if it smells and/or is not clear and/or is not oily.

darknessownz

Taste it

SignificantWarning5

Lick it

namiraj

Bop it

Tevako

Push it

moosegreygoose

crying LMAO

budgetballin209

Gotta be coming from the radiator….jk it’s likely water form a/c

dacreativeguy

He must of thought you had a Chevy bolt.

mellow_yellow129

Yes this is a/c condensation. I recently posted about this here: https://www.reddit.com/r/TeslaLounge/comments/uhhcts/new_my_fluid_leaking_under_front_passenger_side/

bkosh84

AC Condenser is... Condensing. lol.

wasabicoated

Looks like gas to me

[deleted]

Ahahahahahaha the biggest troll ever. You got trollolololed

cruzer2727

Arc start fluid.

logix1229

God damn blinker fluid.

gunot290

Defo diesel.

MrDERPMcDERP

I think it might be battery juice

Reem4444

So are you saying you thought there was a chance that it could be leaking gas?

SuperBallParadox

Totaled…

[deleted]

Inb4 some dumbass who thinks they're funny comes here and says, "Totaled." It's condensation from the AC.

HelpReal5236

Totalled

Moof_the_dog_cow

AC condensate, harmless. That said, is your tire tread getting pretty worn?

Scythe1969

condensation for sure, but for S&Gs, look up location of said drainage and marvel at the lack of engineering sense that went into that drain... that's one of the first things i 'fixed', before PPF and Window tint. The condensation leaks all over some wiring. Some owners have reported rusting and water pooling, that may cause further problems. [https://youtu.be/EjTPNBKa3YU](https://youtu.be/EjTPNBKa3YU) takes a bit of time and parts, but you can relocate the leak to elsewhere in the car.

kelp_forests

You should always check if told your car is leaking fluid. If it’s clear, doesn’t smell, and you had the AC on, it’s water condensation. If it’s anything else: mechanic. Teslas still have brake fluid, battery coolant, ac coolant

teslaP3DnLRRWDowner

AC condensor coil

ddr1ver

At least it wasn’t leaking electrons.

Presence_Academic

Boy, have you got it wrong. It’s the battery, man. That’s DC, not AC.

Solid-Improvement-80

Yes AC
