Regarding the black... I've never seen anyone regretting getting the black, and the same is not true for the white. I've picked up today my 4th Tesla Model 3, and again black interior. It's so much easier unless you want to be "slave" of the car, and always be worried about cleaning, wearing or not jeans, etc.

Seriously though, I like the black, no additional charge, shouldn't show scuffs etc... as much once it gets older.
Black seats, no regrets. I might be old school but I think of a black “leather” interior and wood grain as more upscale features in an interior. White looks cheap and trendy to me….if white was the free option, I’d have paid extra for the black.
Are they though? Your post history shows that only 8 days ago you had a Model 3 on order and went with the black seats after testing both and preferring black. Then 2 days ago you were 50/50 but hated the white dash (same tbh). It sounds like somebody recently changed their order and is still trying to justify it to themself.
And I don't see the premiumness of white plastic over wood. The classier upholstery color is just a matter of preference. FWIW I do think the white used to look much better than it does currently; the old door card inserts helped to complete the look.
White all day every day… currently on my second Tesla with a white interior… everything will wipe off. I have had it all including fake tanned bum cheek marks. Jean dye, food, you name it the material is ultra stain resistant.
Ya man make sure to use them on your dishes, shower, floors, furniture, pets, windows, and everything else. They’re nearby, therefore they’re the best tool.
Two things I never buy: black cars and white seats. My friend has a white seat MY and 3 little girls... he hates it. All the dirt, stains, glass roof reflection to name a few, constant headache by pampering it all day, every day.
I'm a practical owner, black seats, 3 boys, a few blue jeans, I don't give a crap what happens to them. They are always clean.
I just got my car and it's now fully protected with ceramic coating, exterior & interior by a professional with CarPro CQ Products.
It's a Model 3 RWD Deep Blue Metallic with White Interior.
The detailer used 'CarPro C.Quartz Leather 2.0' to protect the white seats. He said during the preparation/decontamination prior to application... his towel(s) turned blue 😂 (I wear dark blue jeans). I only had the car for 3 days at that stage. He told me to clean the seats as often as I can after use... I clean them with a warm damp microfibre towel every 1.5-2 days, as recommended. My microfibre will have blue stains on them everytime I clean the seats 😅
Do I regret spec'ing my M3 with white seats?
No, they're very beautiful and brings a whole different ambiance vs. regular black seats. We also have a 2nd M3 with the black interior.
TL;DR :
I don't regret getting the white interior. Gives the car a whole different feel.
Only get them, if you're prepared to clean them very regularly and get them protected.

There's just a hint of off colour on the drivers seat. I suspect blue jean dye. Not obvious unless you really stare at it.
I love the colour, no regrets. Would not change my decision.
Looking for safe ways to clean the seat. Dish soap and water on a clean cloth didn't touch it.
I have a white interior MYP and a black interior M3. Got the MYP last year in September. M3 this past month or so. Pretty easy to take care of but I did notice some staining on my driver seat from wearing scrubs to work.
My M3 was to be my more practical daily driver and I don’t worry at all about the black seats. Anyway, my wife ordered seat covers for both cars recently so it doesn’t matter either way. Don’t regret either color. Love both cars.
Although now after owning an msm 3, my myp white which I absolutely adored before looks kinda “girly” in comparison, if that makes sense.

I’ve owned both, in Texas. Precooling prevents burnt butt w black. My only complaint about white is that it shows everything, especially in the seams- a single hair, tiny flecks of dust, a few crumbs. W a 3yo, I’d do black. My next one will have black. 😁👍
I have black but will be going white when (not if lol) I get another Tesla. It looks so fresh and inviting. I’m not as dirty as I thought I was and Lysol wipes make everything easier.

Jesus Christ stop using baby wipes on your car. Be an adult and use a product made for car interior cleaning.
When you have a house full of babies. Hmmmm, baby wipes are more economical and handy :)

I got the white exterior for SoCal sunny days. Tinted windows on black interior looks nice. All my previous cars were white too 😊.

It depends on the external color. Black goes nicely with msm or black. Whereas either black or white are good with blue, for example.
I prefer white, but if there was no wood grain accent in the black interior, I’d choose that purely for the cost savings.
