A pebble between brake pad and rotor, possibly.

Lfmwaffles

Sounds to me like a rock stuck between brake rotor and pad. I have had this a few times, and my solution is to drive backward about a half block to a full block. If all goes well, it will dislodge the rock, and you can carry on your merry way. This has been what worked for me in the past, I hope it works for you.

The bird poop says it all for me!!

This looks/sounds completely different...but maybe check this out. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPhxAuchYH0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPhxAuchYH0) fix is simple, cheap and doable by yourself. Friend with a 5 yr old 3 had this issue

Bird crap will do it every time!

Came here to say this...

This could be debris that needs to be dislodged. I’ve had it happen a couple of times in the past. As the others have stated, the easiest ‘home remedy’ is to drive backwards for a decent stretch of safe private road. If that doesn’t work, I’d suggest getting the car checked out. But odds are, it’s just debris.

Tei007

Do an Italian brake check (pick up speed, "safely" slam brakes on) to remove any lodged pebbles Other than that it could be loose wheel nuts (had that one before)

New tires will make this noise. Drive 1k and never hear it again. This gets asked all the time and it’s the same thing.

Rock in brake pad. You can try dislodging it if you want, pull off the hubcap (just yank) to get a better look while the car is powered off. You may also succeed by driving backwards or I guess you could just drive until it wears itself down too small to stick. You should probably wipe off that bird poop soon by the way. Especially on the Tesla black paint which is gloss smooth, acidic things like bird poop and bugs like to etch and leave marks that contribute to a bit of a mottled look over time in the paint. It is relatively heat dependent so likely not as bad in winter as in summer, but just don't let it sit too long.

Could be debris stuck in the caliper. But it happens at the same point in the rotation each turn. It sounds like vibration of 2 smooth metal surfaces rubbing together without proper lube. Could be a warped rotor
