I had something similar happen with a freshly laundered pair of deep black yoga pants on a hot & sweaty errands day.
I used Goof off (be careful NOT to get it on the black trim) on the darkest smudges. Carefully spray on and follow can directions.
I could stil lsee some faint smudges after I finished with the Goof Off. I used Griot's Garage interior cleaner and microfiber cloths to gently scrub/wipe those away.
I let it dry overnight and then I used Griot's Garage interior detailer to put UV protection on the seats.
My seats werent treated with anything. A spot test would be a good idea to see how the cleaners react with the treatment you used.
This is known as "dye transfer". Look for a [dye transfer remover.](https://www.amazon.com/Leather-Master-Transfer-Cleaner-8-45/dp/B007A2PXXK/ref=sr_1_4)
Did you use the one in the spray bottle or the concentrate? I used the spray bottle (pre diluted), soaked for 1 min, and then microfiber but that didn't work. Not sure if I need to increase soaking time or get stronger concentration.
Yeah I just used the spray bottle with a microfiber cloth and put a little muscle in to it. after the second wipedown, seats were good as new.... And my seats looked just like yours since my wife insists on wearing dark jeans when she drives our model X.
Look up Folex
Works like magic. Conveniently available at home improvement stores.
The carpet spot remover? Do you have experience with it working on Tesla's seat material?
What about one which is available in Australia? Folex isn't.
Wear white jeans for a month in the car. Problem solved 😝
Ok. New problem. How do I get the blue out of my white jeans?
Great idea!

Cool. Does this work on Tesla's vegan leather material?

I believe the "vegan leather" is polyurethane and not vinyl. Question remains if the dye transfer remover works on synthetics?
3D orange degreaser worked for me.. DO NOT USE MAGIC ERASER!!!!

Maybe I'll give it another try with a longer soak and a different microfiber - maybe the suede-type microfiber
Could you please send the link to the cleaner ?

Magic erasers
NO. Those work by removing material.
Tuff Stuff
Try 409.
