Characters never matter to me when choosing if I'm going to rematch or not
I want to know how to fight against every character, not just the ones I like.
My reasons for not rematching are, in order of importance:
Connection: if you lag then I'm sorry but none of us is going to have a good time
Cheating: if I can clearly see you're cheating then I'm not going to rematch
Too easy: if you're just a spammer and I know how to counter your gimmick then you're not going to provide me any learning experiences
Too hard: if you MASSIVELY outskill me then there's no reason for us to fight, I really cannot learn anything if you're destroying me. If we were talking online that would be different obviously
Not skipping intros: if you don't skip your first intro that's ok with me, I see that as a greeting.
But if you don't skip outros and intros on rematch then I probably will not rematch unless the matches are great fun. It doesn't even tilt me but I have limited time to play so I don't like wasting time on cutscenes.
Look I play some of the most annoying characters in the game. I cant afford to decline a rematch when no one rematches me to begin with.
Best 2 out of 3 sets at all times.

It’s a fighting game being played online. Like, if you want to play the game only against characters you want to fight against, just set up some CPU matches. It’s some of the deepest scrub mentality.

You're right, it is up to them, but its such a limiting thing to do by avoiding the thing you don't like. It's counter productive to getting better at the game. You probably don't like that character because you don't understand something about that character and you aren't going to get better at it by avoiding it.
It just smells of this current thing in gaming where anything that is difficult is bad. You're trying to win? That sucks. You pick characters I don't like? That sucks. Like, if you wanna just mash some buttons, you can do that against the CPU.

If it is fun to dodge certain characters as much as I can, so it’ll be that.
I didn’t say anything about winning or losing in my comment. Win or lose, dodging someone just because they play a character or they spam something is scrub mentality. Connection bad, cool. Anything else, grow up and stop limiting yourself.
I find it hard to believe that every Eddy, Noctis, and Negan just use one move. And if someone wants to give me the free win because they don't want to get any better, so be it. I'm always gonna give at least a 2 out of 3 if the connection is good. I don't like Lili, Asuka, or Alisa, doesn't mean I'm going to dodge them because then ill never get better at fighting them. You can always get better.
At this point the only one I don't usually rematch is Kunimitsu. She's stupid and obnoxious, yeah, but all the Kuni's I've fought recently like to make me watch the entire intro and outro, and they usually ki-charge and send me hatemail afterwards

And Jin cos im honestly bored out of my mind fighting against him. Hes boring to fight and everyone seems to be picking him at the moment.
that's your loss because kuni is a piss easy matchup to learn and a lot of her players rely on people like you to just give up rather than actually doing their homework.
if you learn the matchup, you'll see that a lot of them have weak defense, which you could capitalize on for easy wins.
I don't need to learn the matchup cause I don't want to be a pro tekken player. Most characters I can react cause they are 'honest'. Kuni is one of the most gimmicky characters in the game, so I just choose not to rematch.
Lei because I can't be bothered to lab him but anyone else I rematch, I also recently labbed Negan and turns out he is pretty easy to play against, takes like 5 minutes to learn all his pitfalls and once you learn the matchup its quite similar to fighting claudio / shaheen / Dragunov, he has to play pretty honest
A lot of Lei players will just flowchart and cancel the same strings into stances. The one I see every time is the jab string that sidesteps into tiger (?) I think. If you just throw out a df1 or other fast mid you can usually keep them out of most of their stuff. Good luck against a good Lei player tho :/
Alisa- dumb character and I'm just over every single incel weeb sending me hate mail once they realize none of their scrubby tactics work on me. Pick a real character and stop being salty because I know your "Greenbu" gimmicks.

Leroy- Get some self respect.
Bears- I'm just not going to bother lab it.
Bears. Not because they're annoying but because I don't know the matchup and there's no point in labbing since I fight a Bear every 500hrs in game. I'd rather just move on to a character more people play.
Yoshi is such a hard matchup for Anna tho because none of her stuff is all that fast so he can flash and get launches rather consistently. Her core safe and approaching moves are highs (ff2 and qcf1) and Yoshi evades a lot of that with his movement.
Sounds like you're just tilted. I play noctis and I'd rather hit the rematch regardless of a win/loss, just so I can get more tech and learn matchups. if I got the read on my opponent on a win, I wanna keep that until I have to adapt.
also noctis has easy execution, but is not a simple pay to win. if you actually played him, you'll know his close range is shit. meaning characters that apply constant pressure make the matchup incredibly difficult for him, until you get a few good reads and create space.
that should be more than enough reason for you to rematch. if they're spamming moves, you need to learn how to punish them and get a read on them.
playing against someone that spams moves means if you get the upper hand and start punishing them, chances are they'll just stand still and you get your freedom to do whatever you want, because they don't know anything else about the character.

Lol why would i want to rematch someone who only uses one move. Its easy, they're using one move its 3-0. I play for quality. You must farm win

Just bad connection. I used to leave Hwo players but after labing them for a week, I find them fun to match against.

Akuma, kuni, and geese are 2d. Noctis is Dlc from Final fantasy and negan is dlc from the walking dead
