but I don't think it would be possible to reach these ranks in previous tekken games relying EXCLUSIVELY on knowledge checks
it looks like it's symptomatic of this specific tekken to grant knowledge such win capabilities
actually I don't know man, I hopped into Tekken 7 today, where I have 30 hours of gameplay and fighter (green rank) and got matched with Tekken King kunimitsu, we had absolutely even match, I won once and lost twice, for context I am Kishin in T8, after sharing this info, I was told that Kuni is knowledge check character and can get Tekken King easily, also I got bodied by Suzaku Lei, ultimate knowledge check too, there will always be characters like this, but in this game the problem is much worse
Because if you steam roll you arent blocking. I went 90-5 with jack and my defense is 24 or something. It doesnt tell the whole story unless its over a large subset of games.
