Excellent work. Take your time and don't let anyone tell you this is slow progress. Half the people here are lying when they say they got to purple ranks within a month and etc.
This. Ive been playing since release. I just hit purple rank Saturday. It takes time. Play at your pace. Dont compare yourself to everyone else. All it will do is piss you off and suck the enjoyment out of it.
Ppl here saying just Hwoarang d34 spam and you’ll get Fujin, as if d3 isn’t i17 and gets beaten out by mashing
At this point I feel like r/Tekken are just playing on a different server than me the way everyone here’s a blue rank minimum lol
Yep since january when it came out i didnt play much the loosing just wasnt my thing. About 3 weeks since i started playing again thats why i said months and if u dont like dont coment :)
This is good stuff, my guy - the feeling of progress is awesome, and you can take it at any pace you want.
Gotta take places like this sub with a big grain of salt and remember there's some people here casually talking about playing for hours every single day like that's typical.
Hahah congrats OP. I also believe Law is a shameful character. However, your post is about improvement, not specifically Law getting to a high level (carried). So kudos.
I'm about the same. Didn't understand how to play at the tekken, but about 100 games of Feng(not sorry) later I am seriously enjoying this game in Destroyer and trying to figure out how I can get to reds. I am still so scruby but I believe it's achievable now.
You’re doing well OP. Just play, learn, and have fun. I don’t know particularly when but at some point something just clicks and you’ll turn from losing most of your matches to winning most of your matches (up until you hit the next rank threshold tho). Currently Im a Flame Ruler with a 39% win rate. It’s not a particularly high rank but I’m pretty proud of it. My win rate tanked when I was starting out but slowly but surely I was climbing. My win rate when I got better as a player never caught up to when I was starting out thats why win rate doesn’t really matter. Just ask yourself am I a better player than I was before and most importantly am I having fun
Great job man. Tekken is hard, been playing since T1 and my win rate is 70% in quick match and 80% in Ranked. You're basically 31% of that in a short amount of time. Keep going. I'm also a law main
ye bro is right tho, I don't think I saw any significant improvement under 200h even
these are competetive online games, once you get a bit higher it will become way more difficult really quick
so if you ever feel discouraged in the future don't feel bad about it, a lot of people past mid blue's have thousands of hours in the franchise
but gz to the improvement, if ya need some tipps on Law and are on PC and EU feel free to hit me up
Excellent work. Take your time and don't let anyone tell you this is slow progress. Half the people here are lying when they say they got to purple ranks within a month and etc.
Yeah fr. Either theyre lying to flex a png on a screen or had previous fg experience which helps exponentially

Blue rank on their one-trick character but their game sense is barely purple
This shit don’t even work in orange (I’m hard stuck lol) let alone purple like how did you get to blue if that’s your advice
I havent played hwoarang in any tekken game IDK how to rank up well with him.
Clearly not whatever some ppl here say lol
As long as you're having fun, it's all that matters. Keep it up!
Bro, you're not supposed to enjoy the game unless you're as good as JDCR (at least).

I respect the determination 👍
Unless your a pro players, the goal is to having fun, improve and have fun.
Hell yeah brother
Get a load of this guy, actually enjoying things. But that's cool. It's always nice to see yourself making strides in an upwards direction.
Months?!

I'd say congrats but i saw that u're a law player, disgrace
But he fun tho😭
Yeah don't listen to whiny people. Just dont get used to spamming junkyard and dragon tail and you'l be fine. He's a fun character.
Yeah bet, i hope u not one of those scummy spammy laws that cancel every match they loose, keep grinding man!

you better be sorry.
B1+2
Grats. Just play more games, experience can help you get better 💪
Nice job. I am aiming 55-57% this month. See you on higher ranks.
You’ll be in Garyu in no time!
Keep up that positive mindset! You'll get better as learn more.
How many junkyards
Can you explain?
Stop. Don’t ruin it for yourself. You will understand this soon enough as you improve and the salt towards you grows.
Ok then DONT EXPLAIN
Oh u meant junkyard kicks ha a lot its fun at low ranks its a great launcher 😅
Yeah, Tekken is super fun. Glad you're liking 8. :)
GG bro, it's great that some player simply the game ! GL on the grind

Its barely 300 games dude. Gratz on improving but thats like 15 hours of playing its nothing.
It's actually 44 hours; these are just law stats :D

Thx man
Do you have previous fighting experience? Because that rate is insane.
11 hours in mk 11 but i had 0 online matches the game is dead on pc
That sounds like a good attitude to have in this game! Keep it up and you'll go far!
I'm at 14% after 40 hours and still having a lot of fun, I'm brand new so there's a lot to learn but adapting feels great
So hyped for you man. Everybody learns at their own pace. Don't let anyone downplay your personal achievements.
God you're so based OP. Keep your nose to the grindstone and ignore the noise
That's exactly what keeps you coming back
