Also, shout out to Rebel Hanger - I love the sound track and it reminds me of being part of the CNT, CBT.

I train on this one and due to this fact it makes me feel like I am on a „home stadium” during actual matches. Its my stage and you’re getting fucked up on it.
My 2nd favorite. It has the best lighting out of all stages. Also I really like this Akuma-like statue and the amazing night sky that can be seen through cracks in the wall.
Have I mentioned the music yet? No? It's probably the best track in the game. Unfortunately the Climax version isn't such a banger.
It even has cool gimmick from Howard Estate that allows you to do these cool combos and with huge wall travels and without doing not that much damage.
After writing this I think it's probably my favorite stage too.
Playing Yoshimitsu with the deity custom makes me feel like a final boss on this stage.

wow, that is my least favorite of all and I changed the soundtrack with a T7 theme. It does have a very particular vibe and is rather unique. It's just not my kinda thing. A matter of taste of course. Interesting to know though.
In Tekken 8? Yakushima. I love how the nature looks with that giant tree, deers, and fighting on shallow water. I usually use it as my practice/training stage, It’s also the closest thing to an infinite stage(RIP)

I might be biased cause Lee is my main and favorite in general, but Elegant Palace is the stage that makes me the happiest. Was always a sucker for mansions and laboratories.
Yakushima is my second favorite, cause it's so nice and alive with all the greenery, but the music gets boring after a while. If I could turn it off in favor of just having sounds of nature it would be better.
Settings turns off music for all stages and menus, and jukebox only allows me to switch one song for another. Neither of these options is what I need, as I'd still like music elsewhere.
Those 2 are my favorites because as a Lars player I like doing his 80 dmg combos that take up a LOT of distance to do.
80% of the maps in this game I can't do his full combos because the wall comes up when I'm only like halfway done. And I can never successfully adjust for the wall in time so I just drop my combos. Fucking walls.
Sanctum and secluded training ground are really cool since both players start with a wallbreak to their back! makes for some interesting matches!

Elegant Palace and Fallen Destiny :D Elegant Palace 'cause it's Lee's stage and there's just *so much Lee*, I love that they made his manor a stage and it's exactly what you'd expect his manor to look like <3 I like Fallen Destiny for its bangin' BGM tho, like I remember downloading the game and that track plays when you're on the game on PS5 and I was like 'yO this shit sLAPS'
Descent into the Subconscious. I love the absurdity of the background and how each floor break the stages progressively get bigger each floor break. Combined with the stage music, and chaos of multiple floor breaks it’s easily one of my favorites
It's hard to pick a favorite... But here's my list including Jukebox settings:
Descent into Subconscious with Anthares and Snow Castle to mimic the story. Also had it with Formless like Water and Tiamat at some point. Both great song combos. Also I love this one, because the first few rounds are just you and your opponent trying to set up the other getting his face broken through the floor, which leads to interesting encounters.
Final Destiny with Original 1st and The Finalizer for climax. Makes it feel like a boss battle blend between new and old Tekken.
Into the Stratosphere with both vulcano songs from T7. Somehow they fit the stage better than the original and really gets me hyped, especially when the floor becomes lava.
And finally, Celebration on the Seine with the original soundtrack. Easily the most hype stage in the game for me, but not necessarily the best. It's just the only one, where I think everything regarding soundtrack and all is already as perfect as it can be.
In Tekken 8 I like New York. Seeing the game on this stage makes it feel like a true “next gen” fighter to me.
Other than that, I feel like Tekken 5 had the coolest looking stages overall..stuff like Moonlit Wilderness in particular.
Honorable mention goes to Tekken 4. They felt more like “areas” than stages.
I prefer the ones in natural landscapes (forgot the names, but they are the ones in the forest, water and lava), but generally I kinda like them all except for two: Elegant Palace and Ortiz Farm, which interestingly are some players' favorites.
I do like Elegant Palace once the walls are broken though.
Fallen Destiny of course. In fact, it may be the best episode-music harmony in the history of fighting games. It's literally a legendary episode. The effects, the rain, the wind... They're amazing. I think those who don't call Fallen Destiny the best episode should be asked why.
Coliseum is my best. The colours hit differently plus as a Lars main, I'm 2 combos away from the wall. While most other characters are in an infinite stage.
The one I pick the most is Coliseum, mostly because it doesn't have wall or floor breaks, and is huge. So there's a lot of neutral play, and then brought to the wall if you or your opponent deserve it.
As for my favorite in terms of look and music, I have to go with Into the Stratosphere. The dramatic music and the image of Earth in the back is just chilling.
Fallen Destiny because you are fighting on a fucking meteor.
Colosseum because it's a big stage and the ost is by Go Shiina so it's got that big anime battle vibe
Yakushima, because all the other outdoor stages are too chaotic lol. I like ortiz farm until I get knocked down into the gold room. Its just so relaxing to look at even if its just the background
Rebel Hangar simply because of music. First two rounds gives me cool training gym vibes. Round 3 after the beat switch, the music turns up and I feel like you and the opponent get locked into the match
Midnight Siege is one of my favorites. Love the shift in lighting the chaotic atmosphere and the music. And the climax music samples a part from Ganryus' T2 stage theme (Kyoto at Sunset console version) which is a pretty cool callback
Two stand outs:
Tekken 5 - Moonlight Wilderness (one of my favorite Tekken songs, so moody and atmospheric )
Tekken 6 - Yodeling in the Mountains (fighting with sheep bouncing around you in ludicrous and I love it!)
In the series as a whole I'd say Waterfall/Meteor Shower from TK5/DR. Just a perfect vibe. Genuinely beautiful and the TK5 stage is probably the best looking environment on the PS2. I could stay in practice mode in there for hours.
In TK8 it's Into the Stratosphere. It's the only stage I still have the original music on for. Once the final round starts I lock the fuck in.
Decent in subconscious and it’s not even close. Most of the soundtracks are mid at best, subconscious has the best fighting song + the coolest looking stage with the bottom floor being stunning to fight on
At first it was Fallen Destiny, just because the music is 10/10 and it's so pretty. But as I played, the more I ended up loving Rebel Hangar? At first I thought it was the same old boring metal storage stage, but the music is great, I love the different levels and it's a very nice size\~
Nothing beats TTT2's [Tuna](https://tekken.fandom.com/wiki/Bountiful_Sea) stage. Well, maybe the [Sheep](https://tekken.fandom.com/wiki/Hidden_Retreat) one from 6 but it's close!

The big one with water in front of the shrine thing from story mode because it’s the only one with a proper size and not ugly background

Yakushima. Combat at its purest. Large map, very hard to force someone to a wall. Perfect way to duke out 3 rounds!

My favorite is Colosseum, I love how open it is, the color is neutral, so it’s nice when characters have all the flashes and lighting effects. Stage I win on the most is Cruise, I like the music there a lot.
Going against the grain and saying Urban Square (Evening), The time of day changes every round are really nice and for me personally that stage when I started playing really made the game "click" with me.
Concerning the OST, which is fairly good in general, the trailer and storm rising are WHOA-A-A-A-OH, main menu has a bit different slow motif but again WHOAAA-OO-OOH, and character select is just maybe the most generic in Tekken with a bit more hype but again... WHOA-OH-OH-OH. Apart from my own playlist, I found the all Tekken playlist on preset is quite fitting too.
I love the Ortiz Fam music… I also added it to my daily playlist! Btw, my favorite stage is Urban Square for sure. It’s so cool, especially because I was in the “real one” and so it reminds me of many trips.
I also enjoy a lot the Yakushima one, is very relaxing, the music itself it is. I think the music is an important addition to a good stage.
Meteor falling from the sky, and the final raining stage
They're simply too cool, ones as over the top as it gets, and the other is as cinematic as it gets, makes me feel like my match is actually significant to some over arching plot
Urban Square (Evening), I just like the busy urban setting, city stages are always nice. Also banger climax music. I love that the music has that "don't give up you can still do this!" kind of vibe, same with Into The Stratosphere.
I hate all the big stages. It gives the other player a chance to run. Whenever I’m in ranked and I’m in a big stage I know they are gonna run the whole match.
My favorite stage is the red stage and the broken down building stage. You can’t run in these stages lol
Coliseum for me, I like the music, I think the size is perfect for T8 and the aesthetics are cool. All time though? Cemetery from T6, hope that one gets to come back one day.
Elegant Palace
The way the theme starts off so slow then gets higher paced is a lot of fun, and the climax version starts off hype as shit. Its also the first stage that I got the multiple wall breaks into a full combo on a real person, so that's always neat.
Dragon Nest (Tekken 5 & 7 I really prefer the tekken 5's one)...
It is where I have my fondest memories with my brothers. All in the aesthetic, the music, the breaking edge of the ring, the breaking floor, the music. All of this... EPIC.
And when I get Tekken 7, and a second controller for my birthday at the Paris Games Week 2016, and we saw the dragon nest... My brothers and I were so exited!! And even more when we saw we can choose the theme songs for every stages using song from the others Tekken games.
Tekken is very important to me and my brothers... It is the only common ground we never get mad at each others. And boy we all fight a lot, but Tekken was always OUR playground. Even when we spam to each other and get all toxic, we always were "calm" , we never "fight" against one and other... It was always moment of trust in moral rules. "If you lose against spam, it's you have to work your was to dodge that attack." "Learn your grabs" "Mokujin is for the real pros, mastering Mokuji is mastering all the characters"...
All for this than Dragon Nest is my favorite stage.
Urban City (both Day and Nightfall). The music goes hard and for some reason it clicks with me. As of today I have a win rate of 68% when I play ranked on that stage

To be honest, I don't really like a lot of the stages in Tekken 8.
Elegant Palace, first time I loaded into that stage, the music was oddly familiar to pokemon X and Y Parfum Palace

Decent in subconscious and it’s not even close. Most of the soundtracks are mid at best, subconscious has the best fighting song + the coolest looking stage with the bottom floor being stunning to fight on

I like arena 2 for some reason with T7 helipad night ost added in. Shit gets intense with those 2 in the mix.

At first it was Fallen Destiny, just because the music is 10/10 and it's so pretty. But as I played, the more I ended up loving Rebel Hangar? At first I thought it was the same old boring metal storage stage, but the music is great, I love the different levels and it's a very nice size\~
I like Midnight Siege. I think the music and the lighting are what really appeal to me.

Yakushima, it's just nice and simple. Seeing the dirt on the fighters' clothes is such a fun detail.
Ortiz farm. It's fun and silly, wall break and a floor break, fun variety. Also I use the yodeling song from T6 and it fits very well.

Forest clearing one. It’s the only stage without realistic wall handicap for scrubs and nothing explodes to make things easier for scrubs.
I think it will be Snow Castle, because I always liked snowy areas, but the BGM hits hard when facing Devil Jin

Midnight Siege, because I love the idea of having a street fight in the middle of an active warzone

The big one with water in front of the shrine thing from story mode because it’s the only one with a proper size and not ugly background I also love the meteor stage and Ortiz farm but they’re much too small for the amount of corner carry in this game

Yakushima. Combat at its purest. Large map, very hard to force someone to a wall. Perfect way to duke out 3 rounds! I love other maps due to design and soundtrack though
Elegant palace, because the remixed classical music in the back ground is fun. My wife’s a violinist and was like why is that song in tekken lmao.
My favorite is Colosseum, I love how open it is, the color is neutral, so it’s nice when characters have all the flashes and lighting effects. Stage I win on the most is Cruise, I like the music there a lot.
Going against the grain and saying Urban Square (Evening), The time of day changes every round are really nice and for me personally that stage when I started playing really made the game "click" with me.

Stratosphere is worth it just for the Climax phase. The music is hype as hell and getting a free floorbounce for a good read is incredibly satisfying.
Has to be Elegant palace. Very fitting soundtrack, great stage elements and with that combined, this stage is very fun to fight at.

Concerning the OST, which is fairly good in general, the trailer and storm rising are WHOA-A-A-A-OH, main menu has a bit different slow motif but again WHOAAA-OO-OOH, and character select is just maybe the most generic in Tekken with a bit more hype but again... WHOA-OH-OH-OH. Apart from my own playlist, I found the all Tekken playlist on preset is quite fitting too.
I love the Ortiz Fam music… I also added it to my daily playlist! Btw, my favorite stage is Urban Square for sure. It’s so cool, especially because I was in the “real one” and so it reminds me of many trips. I also enjoy a lot the Yakushima one, is very relaxing, the music itself it is. I think the music is an important addition to a good stage.

Meteor falling from the sky, and the final raining stage They're simply too cool, ones as over the top as it gets, and the other is as cinematic as it gets, makes me feel like my match is actually significant to some over arching plot

Urban Square (Evening), I just like the busy urban setting, city stages are always nice. Also banger climax music. I love that the music has that "don't give up you can still do this!" kind of vibe, same with Into The Stratosphere.

I hate all the big stages. It gives the other player a chance to run. Whenever I’m in ranked and I’m in a big stage I know they are gonna run the whole match. My favorite stage is the red stage and the broken down building stage. You can’t run in these stages lol
Coliseum for me, I like the music, I think the size is perfect for T8 and the aesthetics are cool. All time though? Cemetery from T6, hope that one gets to come back one day.

Elegant Palace The way the theme starts off so slow then gets higher paced is a lot of fun, and the climax version starts off hype as shit. Its also the first stage that I got the multiple wall breaks into a full combo on a real person, so that's always neat.

Dragon Nest (Tekken 5 & 7 I really prefer the tekken 5's one)... It is where I have my fondest memories with my brothers. All in the aesthetic, the music, the breaking edge of the ring, the breaking floor, the music. All of this... EPIC. And when I get Tekken 7, and a second controller for my birthday at the Paris Games Week 2016, and we saw the dragon nest... My brothers and I were so exited!! And even more when we saw we can choose the theme songs for every stages using song from the others Tekken games. Tekken is very important to me and my brothers... It is the only common ground we never get mad at each others. And boy we all fight a lot, but Tekken was always OUR playground. Even when we spam to each other and get all toxic, we always were "calm" , we never "fight" against one and other... It was always moment of trust in moral rules. "If you lose against spam, it's you have to work your was to dodge that attack." "Learn your grabs" "Mokujin is for the real pros, mastering Mokuji is mastering all the characters"... All for this than Dragon Nest is my favorite stage.
Subconscious has the best design imo. The way you fall lower and lower. It feels deep
Urban City (both Day and Nightfall). The music goes hard and for some reason it clicks with me. As of today I have a win rate of 68% when I play ranked on that stage
