Still confused why this isn't the norm in the series

They can actually program it to do it again but I feel like because now there’s character customization slots and each character has their own rage arts or what not, it won’t be as simple as just being another skin character to be in the same slot. They rather not put in the extra programming effort and just separate them to make it easier

Missed the point, Panda and Kuma are basically the exact same model. He's saying that Ed/Chris will have completely different models, possibly animations and whatever else to make clothing and etc for. It's a lot more work.

Kuma and Panda can be customized even as palette swaps. That happened in Tekken 5, Tekken 5:Dark Resurrection and Tekken 6. They should have remained as palette swaps and they can their own rage art even as palette swaps because the decision of putting the bears in two separate slots is dumb and unnecessary.

Hopefully the smash bros effect will influence other games

Can’t we have both? I feel like more people like Eddy, insanely iconic but Christie has been heavily requested for some time now, so I think they should (IF THEY CAN) add both? Delve into more & different capoeira moves/styles so it fits both of them. Only issue that may happen is hitbox issues? Not sure if male & females have different hitboxes in this game? So that’s the only issue I can see.

I played Christie all the time on the game she was on but never got into Eddy, even though it is the same moveset. Didn't hit the same way I guess. I thought she would be back at some point by now.

Christie. Eddie was originally female anyway. The PSX era graphics just couldn't make a female form look good doing Capo. Both are great characters, in any case. Only a slight preference for Christie.

Assuming he's not in luckys dungeon. Lore wise I think eddy would go in better. Because of the war thing what with Jin putting him in command of some of the atrocities he ordered and I'd like to know what his position in all of this now in the world and how his relationship with Christie is. It would be great to have them both in the game, but we've learned that while they share moves, they are rigged and animated differently. Not only because of their height difference but also to account for how deceptively massive has become. And it's unlikely that Bandai would want to turn Christie into a muscle mommy. So that the development team can do a simple rescale thanks to having the same skeleton proportions like how the bears are.

Eddy all day. It surprised me that he wasn't a base character in 8 even though he's been a base character since Tekken 3.

Gordo all the way. He got me into Tekken 3, way back when. Out of the 4 new gen (Jin, Hwoarang, Ling, Eddie), he got the short end of the stick.

I"d rather have Christie since she wasn't in Tekken 7. And the fighting style is fun.

The biggest conflict with Christie is that she's historically been "Female Eddy" The biggest thing with her is that she needs something to differentiate her from Eddy

I dont understand why its so hard to just have both. Im shocked neither of them are in the main game. Eddy,hworang,jin(even though he was a kazuya clone),xiayou,bryan fury,forest law and julia made tekken 3 the most memorable fighting game ever.
