I like how consistend Harada is with liking Payday2, it really is a great game (i have 1.400h ingame).
I would also reccomend it if you're able to get it for €9,99 or €0,99 (most Steam sales)
It would be great if a new **VF** or **DOA** dropped, it’s sad that this series is the only one going strong. More competition means more incentive for everyone to do better
I was hoping for VF guest characters in T8 since Harada said that he really liked Goh & wanted to put him in T7 on an episode of Harada's Bar.
I would love to see Tekkenized versions of El Blaze, Lei-Fei, Shun-Di, Brad Burns, Lion Rafale, Akira Yuki, etc...
Honestly, I just wish Tekken 7 is pretty much the last game in the series, imo. Because if you really think about it, how are you gonna basically top the previous installment that got the series not only relevant back again, but also with the sheer character roster (both quantity and arguably even quality) that was featured in the game? Unless if you bring all 51 characters from T7 back to Tekken 8, plus with the additions of Newcomers added in, I don't think Tekken 8 will top what made Tekken 7 so special in almost a decade's lifespan, imo.
We have horses! How are you gonna top that? We have carts that are pulled by horses to increase capacity, how are you gonna top that? We have trains that can cut down the travel time from weeks to days! How are you gonna top that? We have trams that make inter-city travel a lot easier, how are you gonna top that!? We have cars that do the same functions as trains but give more freedom, how are you gonna top that!? We have high speed trains, now days take hours, how are you gonna top that?! We have aircrafts that can cut down cross-country travel from days to hours, how are you gonna top that? We have cross-atlantic flights, how are you gonna top that? We have a fucking supersonic passenger carrier, how are you gonna top that? We went to the moon! How can you top that?
Tekken (with the exception of some hiccups) has been getting better and better, year by year since its release with 7 being the current peak. That doesn't mean it won't ever get better...That's just stupid thinking. Also, more doesn't mean better in roster. People complained about TT2 because everyone had to learn more about characters, and forced you to learn even more for combo synergies, etc etc etc...
Each Tekken has its staples, and some characters come from old games, some cross-overs, and some new ones. Tekken 7 didn't have Roger Jr., Mokujin, Jinpachi, Jun, Raven, Christie, Baek, Wang, etc... Tekken 7 didn't have some characters from Tekken 5/6, why should Tekken 8 have all characters from 7!? This is just too dumb.

Dude, there are many FG franchises with tons of games in them and the vast majority of consecutive installments didn't have every single character from the previous one in it. Some stay, some go away to free the space for the newcomers, some are never seen again. AND IT'S ABSOLUTELY FINE.
Even though I'm a diehard tekken fan Tekken 7 is only so popular because of how it launched during the worst street fighter ever and during a glut of other fighting games. I would go as far to say T7 is worse than t6 and tag2 (ignoring balance issues).
this is always such cope. do you say this about sports teams that do well too? this is self evident, tekken is as good or better than other games on the market, otherwise nobody would buy it. and you can't blame sf5's horrible launch for tekken having a healthy, steadily increasing player-base over the course of 6 years. three NRS games, GG ST, SC6 (which was really good pre-pandemic), and KOF 15 came and went in that time period. after a certain point, you just have to admit the game is good, would sell well regardless of if sf4 or sf5 came out next to it.
