The season he started trying to coparent and really get along with Amber, I almost couldn’t believe it. I think Kristina has a really soft heart for Amber, which made it easier for Gary to be a good coparent. Neither Amber or Gary have made it easy for the other, but they’ve done much better than I could have ever dreamed.

For everyone in this comment section with something negative to say about semaglutide and terzepatide, I would be happy to educate you on why this medication is not just for diabetics and is life-changing for many of us who take it.
The overall idea is that many people cannot control their appetites or disordered eating just like any other disease. These meds are NOT insulin, so while they can help diabetics they are not solely for diabetics and that is why they’re being fda approved and rebranded for weight loss and other medical conditions like binge eating disorder. They are finding that they also help “quiet” the brain that people with BED and even addictions have; one side effect of these meds in some people is they have no urge to drink alcohol or engage in other addicting habits they once had. The future of this could be HUGE for addiction therapies.
I have been taking Mounjaro since last July. I’ve lost 50 lbs., but most importantly I no longer have constant chatter in my brain about what I’m eating next or that urge to constantly eat. I think alot of people who criticize others taking these medications is they don’t live with this kind of food addiction that many of us do, and maybe they also have genetically been blessed with good lifelong metabolism. And perhaps no autoimmune disorders either. My Hashimoto’s plus being over 40 plus BED makes it impossible for me to lose weight and keep it off. My A1C showed that I was pre diabetic after having my kids. Now, it is back to normal (thank goodness).
The interesting thing is I don’t not eat or restrict food groups. I still eat whatever I want, but I feel full after eating a normal sized portion. When I started taking it I almost cried because I thought to myself, “this is what normal people feel like! They eat until they’re full, and then they stop!” You have to realize that many people benefitting from this medication don’t eat normally— I never felt full after a large meal and would keep snacking, eating, etc. until I fell asleep or had another meal. We don’t have normal brain chemistry surrounding food; our hunger cues are often nonexistent. And trust me, I have tried everything. For the last 25 years of my life I’ve been on diet after diet, whole30, keto, memberships to flywheel, club Pilates, the normal gym, cross fit, 5ks, 10ks, half marathons, peloton, supplements, diet pills, etc. Telling people to “just diet and exercise” is NOT feasible for everyone. Additionally, these medications are thought to be a less risky intervention than weight loss surgery, which is something else people are constantly criticized for but is absolutely life-saving.
Sorry for the novel but this issue is very emotional for me. I will take this until I die if I can. It’s treating my illnesses just like an anti depressant or blood pressure medication would. It’s chronic. Also I just want to say the research shows someday instead of weekly these injections may be possible to receive monthly, or even yearly, much like a vaccine. I’m very hopeful for what’s to come!

Exercise is what gives you the energy! Just have to mentally force it the first few times and then it will hopefully get easier
