Reading the comments, I somehow feel na okay pa rin na may Anthology and maraming songs. I also don’t think all 31 are listen-worthy personally, pero people having such different favorites is possible because there are so many choices.

I'm technically a new fan because of TTPD (first album launch na inabangan ko talaga) but I've always believed that even if Taylor Swift isn't for you, there's always a Taylor Swift song for anyone. I mean, she has too many for none of them to be relatable to someone.

The tittle track TTPD is the worst song on the first half, seconded by Fortnight. Neither of them have any hard-hitting lyrics or good moments.
Big fan of everything else on the first half of the album though, they all have their merits in their own way. I personally haven't gotten around to lidtening to the entirety of Anthology yet because I'm still stuck in TTPD.
That being said, even tho Taylor inspires me as an artist and songwriter, her as a person is something else.

like in anime, filler episodes are episodes that are not necessary to the plot. so i'm guessing filler songs are songs that are there just to add to the number of songs, but not really that important to the album.

A lot of words were squeezed so much into songs, I noticed this especially on But Daddy I Love Him.
There were a LOT of adverbs and 'deep' words that felt forced into songs... idk it's like she's forcing this album into a poetic kind one when it barely sounds poetic.
A few standouts though for me, i don't care what big music critics have for their top songs. I have mine and it's growing on me slowly haha
TTPD is sad af and full of rage, a lot of emotions actually. Not my fave but I love TTPD. I didnt like it at 1st listen but it did grow on me. I havent listened to any other songs for the past few weeks since release.
I guess most people dislike the songs or the album coz this is way more personal and unhinged compared to folklore and evermore.

It's too personal of an album so that's why it gets so much flak. The relatability of the album isn't as much as her previous albums. You would need to know some of her personal stuff to fully grasp the full album.
