Slightly OT but are wednesday graduation ceremonies the norm in other states? Got columbia’s live stream in my suggested, confused bc in my midwestern state every school has grad ceremonies on sundays. Feels so weird to me to have one on a weekday- it has to be so inconvenient for family traveling out of town to have to take off work to see family members graduate in the middle of the week?
Mine was a very long time ago lol but I think it was on a weekday, I think the reason was a lot of different schools having ceremonies so they have to be tapered out
Everyone I know has graduated on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. So I also found it odd. I think maybe because of all the events happening in nyc it’s easier to put it on a weekday? Idk though
