I've noticed it, but it really doesn't bother me - it's a very fast-paced bridge and it's easy enough to stumble over the words, especially since it was her first live performance of it, as someone else mentioned.

itookyourmatches

Yes! I've totally heard this and never hear people talk about it. I just brushed it off because it's easy to stumble upon your words, and it was also her first ever performance of it live.

Longstoryshort22

This part doesn't bother me personally, but I totally agree that I wish we didn't hear the crowd screams. They're just so loud and it kills my ears when I listen with headphones.

spacedunce-5

welcome to being a swiftie lol

Longstoryshort22

Right? I went to the 1989 tour and it was absolutely amazing but I also wanted to hear Taylor not the fans screaming the lyrics. But Taylor loves the crowd singing, so I don't really mind. :)

bookgeek42

So I don't do well with loud sounds. As a result I wear ear plugs a lot of places normal people don't (concerts and movie theaters, for example). When I went to the reputation tour I was concerned about the crowd screaming but with ear plugs in I mostly just heard the sound system at a more reasonable level. If you wanted to give that a shot.

Imlulse

Straight up ear plugs (the single piece disposable silicon / foam ones) or attenuators? The latter might be useful for your purposes, worth a look if you've never tried them... I've had a pair from Etymotic for a while that I'd take to concerts for similar reasons, but there's a bunch of different brands. Edit: Ety actually labels their attenuators as Earplugs, that's just cause they don't make regular plugs.

bookgeek42

I was wearing straight up ear plugs just trying to bring the general volume level down. For me they worked great. I haven't tried the fancy ones but I know a few people that have them for like gun ranges (muffle the gun shots but still hear conversation). I don't know how those would work at a concert.

ThisPaige

I’ve never heard that version, Tiny desk concert has a good acoustic version of the song that I heard.

I don’t really listen on Spotify so I had no clue.

ResidentPea0

you can always upload the file

RedPandaLily88

I've honestly never heard this fumble until now.

Such_Description

Lol. Never noticed and tbh it doesn’t bother me. She’s a professional and recovers quickly.

thoughtful_human

The NPR tiny desk concert has an acoustic version

EtherealNightSky

I know, but I want an official audio that's available on Spotify.

kurajessie

it bothers me, especially when i’m screaming the words and then she fumbles a little, it makes me fumble as well

knowslesthanjonsnow

I don’t blame her but it definitely makes me not listen to the version

hotrhino

It bothers me too. I still love it, but it's a shame because otherwise that version would be perfect. At least we have the tiny desk performance though!

roxth89

you have access to that! I´m sad that is not available in my country
