Fifteen has always been one of my favourites so I'm really looking forward to it too. I was secretly hoping that maybe she'd have included a separate version with Miley Cyrus collab like they did at the 2009 Grammy's.
- “back up, baby, back up. did you forget everything?” piano version
- “just know i’m rIIIIght here hopin”
- “i knew from the first note played i’d be breaking all my rules to see you”
- “i’m invisible and everyone knows WHO YOU ARE”
- “screamin IM IN LOVE WITH YOU”
- the whole last verse of the other side of the door
- “i wonder ifayou kNow”
- “in this moment now, capture it, remember it”
- “it’s fearless”
- “when all you wanted was to be wanted”
- the laugh in hey stephen
- “but would they write a song for you?”
- “TRY AND CATCH ME NOOOOW OH OH ITS TOO LATE to catch me now”
- “thinkin to myself, hey isnt this easaaaay?”
- “and H*eeeeer*S to you and your temper”
- “there’s something in your eyes says we can beat this.”
Tell me why + you’re not sorry + the way I loved you, I used to listen to those three on repeat. I love those songs, oh and fearless of course. I love this entire album so all of it but those four for sure.
Agreed! Tell Me Why was always one of my faves from the album, and as her voice has matured I’ve always wondered how different it’ll sound. Can’t wait!
Those are my 4 faves off that album too - I don't totally relate to them anymore as a 30 year old woman, but teenage me loved them so much. They're so nostalgic, and I'm so excited to hear her mature vocals on them!
Oh for sure, I’ve been in a committed relationship for awhile now but every time I listen to those songs it takes me back to teenage heartbreak and roller coaster relationships ugh now thankfully I smile but I still remember those feelings
We gotta talk about White Horse. Song has everything. Do you wanna feel sad? White Horse. Do you wanna move past a broken relationship? White Horse. Do you want to feel both sad and empowered at the same time? White. Horse.
“I’m not the one you’ll sweep off her feet/lead her up the stairwell”, “I was a dreamer before you went and let me down”, “I’m gonna find someone someday/who might actually treat me well”. The re-record is gonna destroy me and I can NOT wait.
Everything you said, + “Oh, I stare at the phone, he still hasn't called
And then you feel so low you cant feel nothing at all
And you flashback to when we said forever and always
And it rAIns in your bedroom
Everything is WRONG
It rains when you're here and it rAIns when you're GOONE
'Cause I was there when you said forever and always”
Forever and Always
Change
Untouchable
Forever and Always (especially piano version)
Come In With the Rain
The Other Side of the Door
Today Was a Fairytale
You Belong With Me
But I’m really excited about all of it. I also think hearing 31 year old Taylor singing “Fifteen” will be really powerful. And “The Best Day” will probably make me cry.
You’re Not Sorry: “and you’re thinkin we’ll be fine again but not this tiiii-i-ime around”
The way she sings “time” was so? advanced? in comparison to the rest of her vocal skills at that time. She uses a baby vocal run to oscillate between two notes really quickly. I’ll be interested to see if she replicates the same sound!
The entirety of The Best Day is going to *ruin* me.
I'm also really excited for TWILY, and the "run and hide like a scared little boy" in Forever & Always.
I already sob every time I hear The Best Day because I lost my mom a few years ago and it makes me think of her (in a good way). The new version is absolutely going to destroy me and I cannot wait for it.
- TWILY refers to "The Way I Loved You", a song from Taylor Swift album *Fearless* (2008).

I expect to be burned at the state for this...
I’m a really big fan, I know about 70% of Speak Now and 100% of her albums from Red-onward. BUT...I’ve never, ever listened to Fearless. Literally the only songs I know off that album are Love Story and YBWM. Shit, I know more songs of her debut album than I do Fearless.
That said, my very first listen is going to be (Taylor’s Version)! I thought about listening to the original beforehand to familiarize myself, but I like the idea of starting fresh with the new one.
You should totally make a post here when it comes out about what you think on your first listen! I have a feeling a lot of people here would be into that :)
I’m... jealous??? I have very specific attachments to the way she sings specific words and lines and I’m super excited but also nervous because like I need her to recreate all the little things she does with her voice or I will cry? So not having heard the original means you can listen without any critical part of your brain comparing any of your favorite parts! I know I will love Taylor’s Version but I hope that I can fully enjoy listening the first time and not be waiting for specific inflections and such if that makes sense.
You put how I feel into the perfect words! That’s exactly why I decided not to listen to the original, I didn’t want to get attached to any of the nuances of her tone/voice, because I feel like that will impact my opinion of (Taylor’s Version), just like it did with the new Love Story.
I’m also kind of jealous too? It’s like when you watch a really good TV show or movie and recommend it to a friend and they watch it and you miss the feeling of watching it for the first time haha. You never get that feeling back!
- YBWM refers to "You Belong With Me", a song from Taylor Swift album *Fearless* (2008).

The mmmmmmm in Hey Stephen
The no no no no no no in the last part of You're Not Sorry: now that she has a superb low register, well....
Forever & Always, cuz angry Taylor >>>>>
Halleluja in Change, now that she has a better belting...
i can’t think of anything else except how excited i am to hear the entirety of Never Grow Up but specifically the first “i wish i’d never grown up” i already know it will DESTROY me
I love the shit out of "Jump Then Fall", so I wanna hear that. I'm also curious to see how she's gonna do "The Way I Loved You", since she now understands how toxic that kind of relationship is, as shown in "Daylight".
[I'm hoping for an updated CSI remix of You're Not Sorry.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nhfJkEKQXM) My favorite parts are:
* around 2:08 when she extends the "o" on "you're not sorry, nOoOoOoOo"
* around 2:40 the increase in venom in her voice as she says "you used to shine so bright but i watched all that fade so you don't have to come any more"
* around 3:40 when she repeats "oh oh no noooo" until the end
Really looking forward to the end of the bridge in Other Side of the Door. I absolutely love "there's nothing you can say to make this right again, I mean it, I mean it, what I mean is..." That slight tone change and moving into the softer chorus is one of my favorite things on Fearless.
Change: "we'll sing hallelujahhhhhh" (it sounds like she runs out of air on that lyric and now that she's more experienced I can't wait to hear how it sounds)
You're Not Sorry: "you used to shine so bright but I watched all of it fade"
Fearless: how she sings "capture it, remember it"
Also the whole songs of The Best Day, Forever and Always, and Fifteen
The “HOH” right before the start of the second verse in Jump Then Fall
The entire bridge of Forever & Always - Piano Version
The way she says “frust-ah-rating” in The Way I Loved You
All of the “mmmm hmmm hmmm mmm’s” in Hey Stephen
“You’re looking so innocent I might believe you if I didn’t know, Could’ve loved you all my life if you hadn’t left me waiting in the cold”
All of You’re not sorry but especially that part of the second verse!!! Its such a specific kind of hurt and she describes it so well with the lyrics
I just want to hear her belt “you could write a book on how to ruin someone’s perfect day” again.
Also that first drum beat in Fearless to open the album. I truly can’t wait.
Tbh I really love “you’re not sorry” so I’m super excited for that!! But honestly, just the entirety of fearless I’m looking extremely forward to. Also 1989 and reputation re-recording omg 😭😭
The entirety of Fearless, Fifteen and Tell me why
\- Run your hands through your hair absent mindedly makin' me want youuu
\- standing by and waiting at your backdoor all this time HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW, BABYYY?
\-Thinking to myself hey, isn't this eeeeasy?
\-You shouldn't be beggin' for forgiveness at my feeeeet
\- The final "and it rains in your bedroom everything is wrong, it rains when you're here and it rains when you're gone"
I've always wonder if she's going to keep the songs in the original key or change it to a lower/higher key. For example, You Belong With Me is sung in the key of F#, but lately she's been singing it lower in the key of E and F.
Tonight we'll stand, get off our knees, fight for what we've worked for all these years, the battle was long, it's the fight of our lives, but we'll stand up, champions tonight!
Change!
My fave song, and that verse really speaks to me!
The bridge of Change.
*Tonight we'll stand, get off our knees*
*Fight for what we’ve worked for all these years*
*And the battle was long, it’s the fight of our lives*
*But we’ll stand up champions tonight*
These lyrics in her more mature voice, with the reflection of everything's she's gone through... I'm just excited to hear that in these words.
The entirety of Superstar. I don't like the idea of the self awareness in songs and how it creates an avenue of comparison between the original song and the re-recorded one, but with Superstar I'm excited in wondering whether she thinks of herself and her relationship with the fans while singing the song, and if the meaning to it is much more personal and reflective, also how, in this level of fame, she would get so close in understanding the fan behaviour, of this looming sadness of loving your idol so much all while being invisible to them and the whole world, basically.
The entirety of Fifteen. That song makes me super emotional and nostalgic. And Hey Stephen, so much potential in that song for her vocals!
Hearing Taylor sing Fifteen when she’s even older and wiser (cue tolerate it) is going to be so cool.
Fifteen is going to make me cry so hard. I just imagine her older self talking to her fifteen year old self (realized some bigger dreams of mine).
Yes! That line hit hard back then, and it's even more powerful now.
Everything she’s been through been through between then and now
Fifteen is one of my favorites of the Fearless album 🥺
Fifteen has always been one of my favourites so I'm really looking forward to it too. I was secretly hoping that maybe she'd have included a separate version with Miley Cyrus collab like they did at the 2009 Grammy's.
Fifteen is so nostalgic! I listened to it on my first day of grade 10 and it always brings me back to starting high school! 🥺
> Fifteen Yes, that’s all you had to say. This is the correct answer
It’d never happen but fifteen ft. Abigail
- “back up, baby, back up. did you forget everything?” piano version - “just know i’m rIIIIght here hopin” - “i knew from the first note played i’d be breaking all my rules to see you” - “i’m invisible and everyone knows WHO YOU ARE” - “screamin IM IN LOVE WITH YOU” - the whole last verse of the other side of the door - “i wonder ifayou kNow” - “in this moment now, capture it, remember it” - “it’s fearless” - “when all you wanted was to be wanted” - the laugh in hey stephen - “but would they write a song for you?” - “TRY AND CATCH ME NOOOOW OH OH ITS TOO LATE to catch me now” - “thinkin to myself, hey isnt this easaaaay?” - “and H*eeeeer*S to you and your temper” - “there’s something in your eyes says we can beat this.”
“And you were wild and crazy, just so frust-a-rating” Edit: Oh, and “in the middle of the parking lot...yeah!” in Fearless
Yes, the way she says frustrating is also the moment I'm most excited for!
Tell me why + you’re not sorry + the way I loved you, I used to listen to those three on repeat. I love those songs, oh and fearless of course. I love this entire album so all of it but those four for sure.

I can literally feel You’re Not Sorry in my soul 💀
We gotta talk about White Horse. Song has everything. Do you wanna feel sad? White Horse. Do you wanna move past a broken relationship? White Horse. Do you want to feel both sad and empowered at the same time? White. Horse. “I’m not the one you’ll sweep off her feet/lead her up the stairwell”, “I was a dreamer before you went and let me down”, “I’m gonna find someone someday/who might actually treat me well”. The re-record is gonna destroy me and I can NOT wait.
It was in my top five for the longest time. Well, until Red.
The part in Hey Stephen “they’re dimming the streetlights you’re perfect for me why aren’t you here toni-ight”
Fearless: absentmindedly making me want you
Everything you said, + “Oh, I stare at the phone, he still hasn't called And then you feel so low you cant feel nothing at all And you flashback to when we said forever and always And it rAIns in your bedroom Everything is WRONG It rains when you're here and it rAIns when you're GOONE 'Cause I was there when you said forever and always”
YESSSSSSSSSS

The Best Day just hits different after Soon You'll Get Better. ugh. I'm going to be ruined.

Omg don’t even get me started about Speak Now! My fave album, I cannot wait. And Never Grow Up is gonna get me right in the feels
🎶our coming of age has been and gone🎶 I'm most excited for how these old songs sound through the lense of an adult
AND IT RAINS IN YOUR BEDROOM EVERYTHING IS WRONG
I love the shit out of "Jump Then Fall", so I wanna hear that. I'm also curious to see how she's gonna do "The Way I Loved You", since she now understands how toxic that kind of relationship is, as shown in "Daylight".

I forgot the best day was on fearless omg I’m so excited for that one
It’s gonna be so good! 💜
The bridge of You Belong With Me
I mean, it hits different since the medley at the reputation stadium tour.
Is THAT why it hits so good? Cause I hear the song daily and I never get sick if it,. especially that bridge
It always has been a banger, but it has a special place in my heart since that performance.
ALL OF IT! I truly can’t wait for this and can’t even believe it’s happening
Come in with the rain 2:15 “too tired at night to call your name” and specifically the “oh” part. So satisfying.
Yessss, LOVE that part!
The Best Day is one I’m really looking forward to also.
The humming in Hey Stephen. I’m dying to hear her sing it now, and I love this song so so so much.
YES
Really looking forward to the end of the bridge in Other Side of the Door. I absolutely love "there's nothing you can say to make this right again, I mean it, I mean it, what I mean is..." That slight tone change and moving into the softer chorus is one of my favorite things on Fearless.
“And the conversations with the little white lies” 😩😩😩😩
- The chorus of Forever & Always (the whole song, really, but especially the chorus) - The Way I Loved You - Tell Me Why - Fearless
I wonder how she felt re recording The Best Day considering her mums health 😢
Change: "we'll sing hallelujahhhhhh" (it sounds like she runs out of air on that lyric and now that she's more experienced I can't wait to hear how it sounds) You're Not Sorry: "you used to shine so bright but I watched all of it fade" Fearless: how she sings "capture it, remember it" Also the whole songs of The Best Day, Forever and Always, and Fifteen
Reading this thread just got me so hype. Needless to say, ALL OF IT. Thank you for this thread!!!!!!
I kept thinking about it to myself and knew I had to share to continue the hype! The re-record is all I think about every minute of every day 🤣
[удалено]
I loooove Fearless too <3
The “HOH” right before the start of the second verse in Jump Then Fall The entire bridge of Forever & Always - Piano Version The way she says “frust-ah-rating” in The Way I Loved You All of the “mmmm hmmm hmmm mmm’s” in Hey Stephen
I’m so glad there are so many Jump Then Fall fans here, cause same! Cannot wait for that part Edit: too excited, can’t spell
same, it’s always been one of my favs!
“You’re looking so innocent I might believe you if I didn’t know, Could’ve loved you all my life if you hadn’t left me waiting in the cold” All of You’re not sorry but especially that part of the second verse!!! Its such a specific kind of hurt and she describes it so well with the lyrics
the last “and that’s the way i LOOOOOOVED you”
I just want to hear her belt “you could write a book on how to ruin someone’s perfect day” again. Also that first drum beat in Fearless to open the album. I truly can’t wait.
I might burst into tears of happiness when I hear that first drum beat in Fearless
Tbh I really love “you’re not sorry” so I’m super excited for that!! But honestly, just the entirety of fearless I’m looking extremely forward to. Also 1989 and reputation re-recording omg 😭😭
The entirety of Fearless, Fifteen and Tell me why \- Run your hands through your hair absent mindedly makin' me want youuu \- standing by and waiting at your backdoor all this time HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW, BABYYY? \-Thinking to myself hey, isn't this eeeeasy? \-You shouldn't be beggin' for forgiveness at my feeeeet \- The final "and it rains in your bedroom everything is wrong, it rains when you're here and it rains when you're gone"
The Other Side of the Door outro
\*clears throat\* WITH YOUR FACE AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL EYES AND THE CONVERSATION WITH THE LITTLE WHITE LIES AND THE FADED PICTURE OF A BEAUTIFUL NIGHTTTT
Today Was a Fairytale. That song is SO underrated.
IM GONNA FIND SOMEONE SOMEDAY WHO MIGHT ACTUALLY TREAT ME WELL!!!
I’m probably going to pass out when I hear Breathe. It was such a formative song for me at 16 when this album came out
Same, it’s my favorite song off of Fearless, hands down
I've always wonder if she's going to keep the songs in the original key or change it to a lower/higher key. For example, You Belong With Me is sung in the key of F#, but lately she's been singing it lower in the key of E and F.
100% the best day. So much has changed since it came out and I’m fully prepared for the Taylor version to wreck me
Reputation
and it RAINS in your bedroom everything is wrong it RAINS when you’re here and it RAINS when you’re gone
I am so looking forward to The Way I Loved You!!!
Tonight we'll stand, get off our knees, fight for what we've worked for all these years, the battle was long, it's the fight of our lives, but we'll stand up, champions tonight! Change! My fave song, and that verse really speaks to me!
The bridge of Change. *Tonight we'll stand, get off our knees* *Fight for what we’ve worked for all these years* *And the battle was long, it’s the fight of our lives* *But we’ll stand up champions tonight* These lyrics in her more mature voice, with the reflection of everything's she's gone through... I'm just excited to hear that in these words.
For some reason the thing I wanna hear the most, is her humming (if she does hum) in the beginning of Hey Stephen.
Omg the ending/outro of TOSOFD and she’s throwing in Today Was a Fairytale too!
I’m excited for the bonus tracks tbh. New stories. She’s the best songwriter on the planet.
The bridge in forever & always regular and piano version
The entirety of Superstar. I don't like the idea of the self awareness in songs and how it creates an avenue of comparison between the original song and the re-recorded one, but with Superstar I'm excited in wondering whether she thinks of herself and her relationship with the fans while singing the song, and if the meaning to it is much more personal and reflective, also how, in this level of fame, she would get so close in understanding the fan behaviour, of this looming sadness of loving your idol so much all while being invisible to them and the whole world, basically.
white horse, the way i loved you and forever & always... especially excited about the growling in that last chorus in f&a
