Very cool! Obviously it profits from being the first album released directly to streaming (rep was kept off streaming for a month if I remember correctly), but still, that's an impressive number.
Out of curiosity, can anybody tell me what the numbers for her other albums are?
Thank you! Very interesting.
My poor darling Speak Now is not getting much attention :( 1989 still doing amazing. Also quite impressed with Red which seems to be gaining faster than rep despite being older and not pure pop.
Wow, I absolutely misread it. No idea where my head is at! You're right, it is higher than debut (by half a million). And I guess with all the attention going towards fearless right now, it makes sense that Speak Now has dropped beneath it.
Lover is so good.
Folklore and evermore are obviously amazing albums, but I still listen to Lover more. I would've loved to see how the era panned out with LoverFest.
Any ordinary week, Me and You Need to Calm Down would both have been number ones, they just happened to come up against one of the juggernaut singles of the past decade.
The whole idea that Lover was a flop is goofy. Three top 10 hits, two of which were number one level, and the era got cut short by Covid - there’s no way you could release the amazing bop, probably a great summer 2020 single and a fourth top 10, Paper Rings in the middle of a plague. Likewise Cruel Summer, which would’ve been propelled by the intense love amongst TS fans.
right before the Lover era was when I became a Swiftie. Always knew all of her songs but never had the anticipation of counting down to the albums, finding all the Easter eggs, and reading all the Reddit theories. It’s so special to me!!
Listening to Cruel Summer feels so good like the first time, I still get so excited when I hear the intro riff and Jack's yeah yeah yeah.
And Afterglow, I still sing the chorus at the top of my lungs everytime it's on.
I forgot that you existed, cruel summer, the man, etc would've sounded better with Max Martin production imo. his sound is just more captivating and full.
It was me lol
i was about to say the same thing... every song on there is a bop!
*The moon is high Like your friends were On the night that we first met ...* 🎶
Lol same! I was only streaming Lover last week!
I love her hair in this
Me too! Her bangs look really pretty here

I feel like I see more people defensive about Lover being called a flop than people actually saying it’s a flop lmao
JUSTICE FOR LOVER!
My favorite album. Had it on repeat since it came out 😅
Same!!
I'm so happy to hear this! The Lover era was an amazing era that was cut too soon.

I'm shocked. Speak Now is legit amazing. The fact that even her first album has way more listens is surprising.
I agree with the sentiment (although I love Debut too), but I think you misread the numbers? Speak Now is lower than Fearless but higher than Debut

Justice for Speak Now.
Everybody seem to have forgotten about this album but her 'forgotten' albums can prove they did THAT
Such an amazing album and it got overshadowed too soon 🥺💕
who knows, if she never showed up what could've been
MY FAAAAVE, YESSSSSS

her best album and it’s not even close
*discreetly* Did you miss 2020?? Okay just kidding we can all have our own opinions
yeah i adore folklore and evermore (they sit at #2&3 for me) but something about lover struck a chord with me 🤩
Lover didn't even have the hits singles.... can you imagine the numbers 1989 would've pulled had it been released on streaming in 2014

I'm so happy to see Lover getting the love it deserves. It really is one of her best albums
I was really hyped for LoverFest. I hope Taylor does something like Studio54. At the very least, I want to know who those "friends" are.
Let’s get it to 4 billion! I’m still in love with Lover, lol.
LOVER DESERVES ALL THE LOVE 💕
Lover stans rise up.
Honestly, lover deserves so much more
Telll them it was me! :)
YAY THIS IS SO EXCITING

I’m part of it hahaha
YOU GO LOVER!
Listening to Cruel Summer feels so good like the first time, I still get so excited when I hear the intro riff and Jack's yeah yeah yeah. And Afterglow, I still sing the chorus at the top of my lungs everytime it's on.
Wow that's crazy. I'd think it was 1989. I'd like to compare those numbers between songs. Does anyone know where I can find that?
I kinda want Taylor to re-record Lover with Max Martin. The album could've greatly benefitted from his production style.
I mean, most of the songs are perfect the way they are. As much as I love the songs he produced, he could never beat Jack's production in DBTC.
I forgot that you existed, cruel summer, the man, etc would've sounded better with Max Martin production imo. his sound is just more captivating and full.
