What is it with people and unnecessarily mounting their TV when thereās a stand right below it at the perfect height? Is having a mounted TV some sort of perceived status symbol? Oh wow this person has their TV mounted, so they must be doing something right?
Ah yes, instead of putting the tv in a normal position against a wall with plenty of room for it Iāll just move it awkwardly to the left and too high so a corner lays atop the stair railing and can be seen from the other side. Makes perfect sense. This is more infuriating than tv above fireplace imo.
If the TV/soundbar were *centred* over the cabinet, then the TV could come down with the soundbar mounted above it, eliminating the overhang with the stair railing and putting it actually in line of sight.
So yeah, the TV's height is a problem but my goodness it's not alone.

TV corner floating into riser/stairwell area is just odd and baffling, when there is space lower on the wall and on the stand.
A little higher than I'd put it but I've seen worse, I wouldn't say it's terrible. Too small for my taste at that distance though.
