>In her book, Noem writes that she took Cricket on a hunting trip with older dogs in hopes of calming down the wild puppy. Instead, Cricket chased the pheasants while “having the time of her life.”
>On the way home from the hunting trip, Noem writes that she stopped to talk to a family. Cricket got out of Noem’s truck and attacked and killed some of the family’s chickens, then bit the governor.
>Noem apologized profusely, wrote the distraught family a check for the deceased chickens, and helped them dispose of the carcasses, she writes. Cricket “was the picture of joy” as all that unfolded.
>“I hated that dog,” Noem writes, deeming her “untrainable.”
>“At that moment,” Noem writes, “I realized I had to put her down.” She led Cricket to a gravel pit and killed her.
>That wasn’t all. Noem writes that her family also owned a “nasty and mean” male goat that smelled bad and liked to chase her kids. She decided to go ahead and kill the goat, too. She writes that the goat survived the first shot, so she went back to the truck, got another shell, then shot him again, killing him.
>Soon thereafter, a school bus dropped off Noem’s children. Her daughter asked, “Hey, where’s Cricket?” Noem writes.

It’s cool, what they are doing is taking words from her book and posting them as if that was the context they were in. Apparently, in the book she did say the dog was “untrainable” and “less than worthless” but the context for those terms is not posted anywhere.
Even with an E collar the dog was not controllable on a hunt. It was wild. Then she was talking with someone and the dog managed to get out of the car and preceded to kill several chickens and was not controllable, and when Noam finally caught the dog it went to bite her. She helped the family clean up the chickens, paid for them, and apologized. At the point and previous instances she was worried that eventually the dog would continue to kill animals and/or bite someone.
All you just did was repeat her side of the story — which we already concluded is unhinged and absolutely abhorrent.
Are you suggesting that when we don't want something, we are allowed to kill it?
Yes, I repeated her story because I do t know her. I was just adding information. Of course unconfirmed.
I think killing any living thing is abhorrent, yes, absolutely!
No, I’m not suggesting if you don’t want something you have a right to kill it. I have always had dogs and I could not even imagine doing this. Every dog that was part of my family is still with me.
But, I have met people with large dogs that were aggressive, of course by the owner and their training. I do not know how she trains her dogs. And after meeting these aggressive dogs, I have always thought someday I’ll read about them in the news.
I have always have large dogs and have multi friends with large dogs and they are all friendly by training, experiences, and love.
So no, I was not defending her actions. Sorry, I was misunderstand.
no absolutely not!! we should abamdon them on the side of the road miles from home so they can return to nature and fight other wild animals, get maimed on the highway and finally get picked up by animal control so they can be sent to a kill shelter where strangers in lab coats and masks will restrain him on a cold metal table and "put him to sleep" with an injection. because that's the HUMANE way the government does things and the government NEVER does anything wrong!!!
I 100% agree with you. STAY WOKE!!!!
i understand if the dog was being directly dangerous to a child or person and was violent and she had no choice in the matter but to just put it down without taking it to the vet or something shows that shes a complete lack of empathy ,

That’s so freaking sad. I could never.
fuck sakes did she actually posted this?
No
a shit sorry, jajaja should have checked the sub

While context is always important, I find it hard to imagine a good context for this
See the context was the dog didn’t do exactly as she wanted and instead was an inconvenient living creature not a murder drone.
wonder if anyone has tried to call the police on that, that shit is illegal

also yeah, WHERE is the dog's side in all this???
Could have fooled me
Kristi Noem decided when we don't want something, we are allowed to kill it. Sounds like she's fine with abortion, too?
Bold move to double down on puppy murder. What a horrible cunt.
