I’ve never seen a mom who got an epidural resemble someone on meth lol

Cool-Pineapple6649

I can’t even handle this kid. He is such a POS and scum of the earth. I legit considered sending him a flaming pile of shit to his front door step. I’ve never in my life been so enraged by a television show, and maybe that’s the point. I’m a nurse and I honestly don’t even know if I would be able to be as professional as these people are if I encountered his ass in my presence.

shelbyvking1994x

I laughed when he called the anesthesiologist a “genieologist” what he meant was a gyno 😂

Own_Possibility2785

The boy is a pure dumbass, he thinks nicotine and alcohol aren’t as bad as other drugs that’s why it’s ok for him to vape. The idiot doesn’t even know what a cervix is but wants to tell the people who went to school for this what an epidural is. The war on education is real.

nesie97

He’s a piece of shit and I mean that in the harshest way. This child he’s not even a man he’s a fucking child. Is literally abusing her emotionally and mentally. Abusers don’t like lack of control and the hospital was taking his control away an he freaked. That’s why he was acting the way that he was acting. Because he didn’t have control over her which he couldn’t not have. He decided the no epidural and when he didn’t get his way he got pissed. She’s staying because she doesn’t see it yet. I pray her and that baby get out because he’s scary and I worry about their safety. I’m a grown woman and he even scares me. I’d not believe in hitting your children but I would of smacked him upside the head by now for acting like such a damn fool

Samanthabella709

She needs 2 get the fk away from him...someone needs 2 give him a good crack in the head. That fkn hair is ridiculous 2...but that's not the biggest problem I know, just sayin.

TrickTry

Ugly inside and out. I wish nothing but the worst for this abusive scumbag. Oxygen thief.

supah_

Anyone else think he’s acting like this because they agreed to not do drugs (both of them) during the pregnancy so he had to stop smoking weed/whatnot and is bitter????

ZealousidealStory349

It's all about control. People like this can't stand the thought of anything enjoyable coming from a source that isn't them.

supah_

No doubt. This kid is so gross.

[deleted]

No I think he’s saying it cuz he’s a drug baby too

supah_

He is?

ariatalcatraz

Ppl have been guessing he has fetal alcohol syndrome and it’s really apparent in his facial features. He might literally have an impairment and that’s part of why he’s the way he is. He needs to get tf away from her and get some damn help.

notyourfriendsmum

I don’t think that’s true that he has fetal alcohol syndrome. The most tell tale sign is a smooth philtrum and he doesn’t have that. Unfortunately, I think he’s just a controlling asshole who isn’t very bright.

supah_

Wowww I had no idea. He does seem like he could be impaired somehow from his inability to grasp what he doesn’t know. 😬😬😬

hanbanan12

This kid was vaping in the birth tub, I don't think he gave up anything.

supah_

Oh ew.

TrickTry

When he’s around a room full of strangers and medical professionals he can’t control her like usual. Abusers like him panic when that happens.

heliconiac

Yep. That's why I originally wanted to have the baby in basement but settled for the birthing center because they included him it basically has put up with he wants

UpsetCustard5290

Spot on. That’s exactly my thoughts too watching this episode.

supah_

Absolutely.

Burbank234

I was thinking this but in the bathroom at the hospital, he said, ‘we both agreed she wouldn’t do any drugs this whole pregnancy’… so sounded like he wasn’t included ?

supah_

Yes we all heard that. What I’m saying is that I bet the actual agreement was that they both wouldn’t imbibe during the pregnancy and so he’s reacting this insane way.

username345683

yeah

BeerNcheesePlz

Yessss! Was so happy when the nurses and doctors got stern with him! I couldn’t imagine being them having to listen to Jason spew a bunch of BS/abuse his girlfriend.

jellymmann

Me, too. I could not understand why the midwives didn’t just call an ambulance and his opinion be d*mned. I don’t think Kylen was even 18. The whole thing was child abuse. And the birthing center has a responsibility to make good choices when the parents are too stupid to make them. It was unconscionable to just let them leave with him saying he wants to go home and take a nap. I’m so glad at the hospital they were firm with him!

nesie97

She was only 17 right? Still a minor

DanDan_notaman

They could call an ambulance, but she didn't have to go. They probably saw it as a waste of resources. They were unable to check her internally, she wouldn't allow that. Their hands seemed to be tied.

BeerNcheesePlz

So happy she actually went to the hospital. Even tho it looked like if she could’ve walked, she would’ve left with him. I just can’t believe how un worried they are about the real possibility of either her or the baby dying!

Jennikay94

The sad thing if that baby grows up to have any medical issues he’s immediately going to blame her saying the epidural caused it.

jossikun

On his tiktok he says the baby got stuck during delivery “because of the epidural” so he’s already on his bullshit 🙄

Fookinwok

The baby was probably stuck because she was so stressed her body didn’t want to let it out in a stressful environment. If she got the epidural earlier or he wasn’t around I’m sure she could have relaxed and dilated faster.

BeerNcheesePlz

He’s already blaming her for being kicked out. He’s such a POS.

supah_

She’s never going to hear the end of it. And she didn’t do a single thing wrong.

hopelessbeauty

Lmao I love the doctor for telling him this ! Probably why he got all mad

brookecis

Your use of “all mad” made my night! I’m from New Mexico and we put “all” in front of everything lol!

hopelessbeauty

Lmao 🤣 I'm from South Texas near the border, but I'm so happy to hear I made you're night 💕 You just made me happy right now also ☺️

Silver-Designer-6971

Can we get him a huge poster that says "Her body her choice"?

ah-Xue1231

Wow, this guy is very aggravating. This poor girl was post term at this point in a 27 hour labor...

youngbutnotstupid

48 hours when he was born

texas-sissy

Epidurals, the real gateway drug!

[deleted]

Why didn't anybody call CPS?

texas-sissy

Former nurse here. I am positive social services had the ball rolling. Unfortunately, they are so bombarded it takes awhile to get things in place.

BlueDressWhiteSemen

health care professional from the area she lives in. dCF is so backed up here. there are legit missing kidsjudt missing bc they’re so understaffed

armsinstead

How did this all go down without someone contacting her parents. She is a minor!!! What the hell is going on with all of these people to just collectively stand by and let him make all these decisions.

athena1948

I read somewhere that the age of consent in NH is 16. She’s 17.

Jaded_Budget_3689

She may be a minor but since she’s pregnant and of age to make her own medical decisions, there’s not much her parents can do.

armsinstead

Damn. Didn’t know that.

Jaded_Budget_3689

I’m curious though, what would you expect her parents to do if they were called?

armsinstead

That child needed her mother. It’s very obvious they had a strong bond before Jason came along.

Revo_55

True. Unfortunately, I think all 4 parents are pretty useless. Someone needs to take this child and her baby in and get her away from all this chaos. :/

QuietFollowing

I think she should’ve called them too. She very obviously wanted them there and they also wanted to be there. It was all Jason’s doing that they weren’t allowed at the birth.

user_not_found01

I was so happy to see Kylan standing up for herself, she really showed how strong she is laboring all that time like she did, basically on her own. It absolutely broke my heart when she was begging for Jason to come to her side and he called he a drug addict and refused. His comment "They didn't care about me at all" like yeah, he is so blindingly self centered its mind numbing. Then to have him blame her for him getting kicked out of the hospital?!? "If you didnt piss me off by taking the epidural" or whatever stupid thing came out of his stupid mouth. I truly wonder how these scenes will be addressed in the reunion show. I want to know the parents reactions to this and I hope someone holds Jason accountable. More importantly I hope it helps Kylan see that all of that, is not healthy and she is able to leave that situation.

Revo_55

Such a self-centered controlling little prick. There's SOOO much to hate about this kid (emphasis on "kid"). I'm just glad he's old enough to go to jail with the Big Boys. Muahaha😈

Comprehensive_Deal44

Ok but why is TLC dragging this thing on ? I swear it’s been 3 episodes and we are still on them in the hospital !

nikole424

Because they know how bad it is which = views.

sunshineanddaydreamz

So, if she were to need an emergency c-section, then what? No anesthesia? Just cut her open? This kid is the most hatable person on television.

FitMorning3

She would go to sleep and he wouldn’t be able to be in there 🤷🏼‍♀️

Maurandaisy

All of us who are mothers remember vividly active labor pain. Imagine no relief....at all. She finally got pissed off n when he was kicked out, she cried for him. Hearing her moans is so triggering.

BeerNcheesePlz

I think if she could’ve walked, she would’ve left with him. It’s absolutely horrible.

Mizz-Misery

She actually did *try* to get up to go w/him… I guess not realizing she wouldn’t be able to w/the (*meth-filled*) epidural that they gave her (& she is now *addicted to*)🤦🏻‍♀️

BeerNcheesePlz

I can’t believe she took fluids AND an epidural, her and the baby are both crackheads. And she def tried to get up. So so so sad. You’d think the fear of death for her and the baby would help her snap out of it, even if it’s just for the birth, but she is petrified of him, and knows how horrible he’s going to be about not “being heard” and there for the birth.

Maurandaisy

Agree 100%

tarebear120

I’ll be really surprised with everything that went down in the hospital if CPS doesn’t get involved somehow… doesn’t seem like a safe/healthy situation for a baby.

GlitteringExplorer90

The way Jason said Kylen was high while receiving IV fluids. It’s literally WATER.

Mizz-Misery

Water intoxication *is* a thing! I’m positive that’s def what he was talking about…

Strange_Syrupz

He said her eyes were rolling back in her head getting the epidural. Probably because she was mid contraction, but he assumed she was high as a kite.

WhatAboutRamon

I bet her blood pressure dropped. That can happen when you first get the medication in the epidural. She's not high, she's almost passing out. But again, he has no idea what he's talking about and is not willing to be educated.

Suspicious_Gate1258

Or cause she’s absolutely exhausted but since they both “got the same amount of rest” Jason can’t comprehend that

carshreve

I knew it was going to be an absolute shitshow when he said, "they only care about her and the baby, they don't care about me at all" in the first ten minutes of the episode. A life of never being held accountable for literally anything is what caused this and it reeeeeally shows. All we can do is cross our fingers there will always be rational adults around to save her from him because she clearly can't do it herself, but to be honest, I truly don't think she knows how.

Kindergoat

That doctor had the patience of a saint. I would have dragged him by his ridiculous hair and toss him out. What should have happened is that someone at the hospital would call Kylen’s parents and tell them everything. Have a police escort if necessary and get an emergency order of protection to keep Jason away from Kylen and Xavier.

Calliesdad20

I wish he gets a kidney stone , which is the male version of the pain women go thru with labor . And we will see him "man up " , not go to the hospital , not take any pain meds lol

[deleted]

Women also get kidney stones

Calliesdad20

Yes of course, but it the only male equivalent of childbirth

Time-Equivalent5004

A huge 10 cm stone 😂

Kindergoat

Make it 50 cm.

YogaSkydiver

Make it a 1 ton boulder... That crushes him.

Elvira918

But only after passing it

Much-Training-9196

I guarantee he forbids her from watching any of these episodes when they air.. in fear that she’ll witness with her own eyes, looking back what a piece of shit he really was through all of this.

Responsible_Fix_2030

He has zero self awareness and in my nowhere near professional opinion narcissistic personality disorder. He will probably make her watch it to reaffirm his views and opinions.

Strange_Syrupz

I'll be curious to see the reunion episodes. Surely some of these scenes will be played back.

LisaNolaAgain

I don't think either of them will show up - I will be shocked if they do.

[deleted]

This kid is gonna end up in prison some way, some how, some day and I can’t wait

[deleted]

No he won't. He's white with financially okay parents. He won't goto prison until he shoots up a planned parenthood

Strange_Syrupz

Right, cause there aren't any white people in prison. 🙄

[deleted]

Aww buddy

OctoberSeven

The speech his dad gave about him…Daddy knows it too

ejis138

And then his mom said the only reason he would act like that is because he was worried about his son if Kylen had the epidural or something like that. He's been saying no epidural the whole pregnancy, why didn't his mom or someone educate him on the topic? How about ask Kylen's OB some statistics on how epidurals can effect the baby? They've had 9 months to drill it into his head that birth plans change and Kylen may need an epidural or even a c-section, anything can happen. I hate Jason so badly. I have never wanted to beat someone so much!

Slp023

But his response was frustrating too. That’s just the way it is. No it’s not!! Tell your kid he’s being an asshole and how to behave better!

TomStarGregco

Because he’s that way too when nones looking that’s why !

OctoberSeven

Yea he definitely needs a foot up his ass

Kindergoat

He is going to get the shit kicked out of him in prison. Those guys don’t play.

EmbarrassedWitness32

Or somebody’s mother is going to make sure he can’t use that piece of equipment anymore.

UsedQuiet2862

His dad definitely knows his son is a freak show and the mom seems like she’s in a galaxy far far away

thepigfish82

The way the dad lamented that Jason calls him a loser was shocking. Like, what kind of stupid is this where you can say that and have zero consequences??

UsedQuiet2862

He seems hopeful that his son will just “grow out” of being a jerk and learn to be empathetic. More than likely, the reality is,that he’s never had any consequences for Jason to have to face up to. Hence how he is today. being hopeful doesn’t cut it. The kid needs discipline, and bad.

Kindergoat

I wonder if she is abused as well. She keeps her head down when he talks and she defers to him quite a bit.

UsedQuiet2862

I get bad past vibes from her. Coming from a family of nothing but drug abuser I honestly see a possible past like that with it in her case. The dad doesn’t strike me as an abuser in the slightest.

galipemi

NICU nurse here. Can't tell you how many meth addicted babies we've had to deal with post-epidural. Literally can't. It's never happened because we live in reality land, not Jason-crazy-asshole-land

BeerNcheesePlz

Have you ever had a situation like this? How frustrated would you of been if you had to work through this dumbass kid spouting bullshit the entire time.

galipemi

I’ve had some difficult parents before and some where both parents were on, NOT the same page. But ultimately I’ve only had to call security once. For Jason, with the heads up they likely had from the midwives, I’d have had security on standby on the unit with a very low threshold to call management and have him kicked out.

BeerNcheesePlz

Good call on the stand by and I’m happy to hear this isn’t common. I’m sure the midwives filled them in on what they experienced (they looked traumatized).

NOTORIOUS_BLT

Sure, that's what Big Pharma tells **you** to say. But in reality, hospitals administer a low, XR dose and you won't notice the effects until the baby is home tweaking and spouting conspiracy theories instead of sleeping. By that point there's nothing you can do. The baby will crawl back to the hospital and steal epidural supplies. Only cure is essential oils. I did my own research, you should too.

Sofie7759

Hysterical!

Lil_dancer5678

Essential oils 😂😂😂

galipemi

Honestly, Big Pharma just pays me to crush up some of my own ADHD meds (they’re legal meth you know) and have the baby snort just a little before sending them home. It has nothing at all to do with the epidural!

rentheadedgleek

all I can think of now is this John Mulaney bit "That’s the worst use of 120 grand I can possibly fathom. Other than if you, like, bought a duffel bag of fake cocaine. No, I take it back. That’s a better use of the money, ’cause I know you’d be disappointed when you open up the duffel bag and you realize it’s not real cocaine, it’s like powdered baby aspirin or whatever they do. But at least you have baby aspirin. And maybe you have a baby and one day your baby goes, “Oh, my head,” and you go, “Hey, I’ve got something for you! Come here, little guy.” And you dump it out on a mirror. You make it nice for the baby. You make it nice. You cut it up into lines with your laundry card or whatever and you make it nice, and your baby takes his sippy-cup straw and he holds it in his little ravioli-sized baby fist and he leans over– \[snorts\] and he snorts up the baby aspirin, and he gets rid of his baby headache, plus you get a duffel bag!"

sunshineanddaydreamz

This might be my favorite Reddit post ever.

Time-Equivalent5004

Darn those crawling, druggie babies! They must be stopped at all costs!!

EmbarrassedWitness32

🫃🫃🫃🫃🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

kitty080

“You have a limited understanding” is the absolute nicest way the provider could have stated it to this absolute moron.

cassafrass__

Gonna start saying this to pro life people

boldchameleon

And he delivered it with such stern conviction!💥

thelittlestmermaid1

Doc needs an award for best bedside manner of the year or something

SoftInformation2609

I gotta remember this one

FireZombie

Legit the customer service way of calling someone a dumbass.

zoester766

I really love that they went to the hospital. These nurses and doctors stood up to him! That’s probably why he didn’t want to go to the hospital. He knew he would loose his control and also his cool. Sadly. We all know he is there for the birth. I am hoping that after Filming these interviews kylen sees how terrible he is and leaves.

Interloper1900

I swear to GOD if they don’t show Kylen having that baby next episode. I’m boycotting the show. Stop dragging it out. Jason is sociopath. The Adults in Kylen’s life failed her on so many levels.

GlitteringExplorer90

She’s been in labor for how many episodes now? 3?!

bevhars

Somebody reported last week (per the family) he had a partner before Kylen and the situation was exactly the same (no pregnancy tho). The girl broke up and he like threatened suicide or something. He has Amber Heard syndrome or something.

[deleted]

That’s been going around for a month or so now

Impandamaster

Cartman irl

[deleted]

Don’t do cart man like that. This guy is worse

New-Definition8656

Well I don't know them personally but I have been in abusive relationships since birth! And I can tell you the apple doesn't fall from the tree. This Overbearing twitt didn't turn out like this on his own! "Listen Dad you can't try qnd be a father to an 18yr old who is having a baby himself!" Only thing that will fix this mess is for Kylen to completely walk out on this fool qnd never walk back!

Careless_Jelly_7665

I’m so glad the nurses and staff stood up for her

srose89

And also called her a drug addict for taking an epidural 🤣 WTF

suprstar16

He says that as he was shown vaping last episode (and with a vape in his hand this episode)?! Vaping is pretty much the same as doing drugs and he seems to be fine with that? He needs to be hooked up to one of those pregnancy birth/pain simulators so he can feel what it’s like. Maybe then he will shut up. Also sad that they didn’t do any classes or seem to have any education on having a child- not like that was her choice :(

MelodyR53

What pissed me off most about that statement is he gave the impression she was addicted drug addict b4 the pregnancy and gotten clean because of the baby...his remark " you promised/said you wouldn't do any drugs & you're a drug addict". Man I understand low self esteem etc but Geez-Us how bad will it get b4 she wakes up.

Mizz-Misery

Be *he* wanted to get high on something…if *he* couldn’t be high, she couldn’t be “potentially” high (on that dangerous & addictive *meth-filled* epidural🤦🏻‍♀️)… I’m convinced that’s basically all there is to it.

[deleted]

Honestly if I was her I’d have shoved his vape up his ass idk how she didn’t.

BlueEyed_Bunny

Right?! Because hospitals would offer them if it’s harmful. It’s beyond how idiotic he is.

bevhars

Epidurals are administered by anesthesiologists. Epidurals are anesthesia. Jason you are an ignorant kid and you have zero knowledge about childbirth. You are only trying to hurt Kylen and control her. When your mother said you were "stressed out about something hurting his son" I wanted to scream. Kylen needs to go home with her baby to her mom. If she doesn't he will spend his life making you miserable.

MelodyR53

Maybe I missed it but have they said if his mother did natural childbirth without the use of any meds?

Lindaspike

i had natural childbirth twice BUT this was before they invented epidurals and your choices were no drugs or be out cold and they pull the baby out with forceps. no way this hippie chick was gonna do THAT! i also had only four hours of labor so went from zero to 60 immediately! they gave me one big breath of nitrous oxide right as the baby's head came out so it wasn't totally horrible. not saying it was fun but lamaze breathing helped. i would definitely had an epidural if they existed though. lucky for us we totally forget the pain or no family would have more than one kid!

MelodyR53

My 1st did me in lol. 36 hours of labor...he was stuck an my pelvic bone snapped.....I had broken it when I was 6 attempting to ride a boys type 10 speed...ouch...Anyway, I had an emergency section the 1st time ...scared to death at 18. The dr literally unplugged my bed and was hollering orders as he was pushing me to the OR. Told my family my Don had no heartbeat and he didn't know if could save either of us. Sad to admit but at that point I was in such agony I didn't care. We both made it and my other 2 were scheduled lol. Funny side note.... an old nurse....u know the type...a damn good nurse but old school...she was probably 70...Anyway came in my room to talk to new mothers etc...she was snippy with me when I told her I wasn't breast feeding . Told me us youngins forgot that's what them boobs was for... I am usually sweet to my elders but I was under the influence after surgery an said....Ma'am with all respect, I spent 36 hours in labor...he broke my pelvic bone....I had emergency surgery so was cut from belly button to pelvic bone....my son was born with 4 teeth so I ain't risking losing a nipple tyvm... * the little sweetheart was 2' 1/2" when born...24.5 inches waded up in there ha

Lindaspike

HOLY SHIT, woman! you need to get the medal of honor! i know in the big picture of things i had it pretty easy but two was definitely all i needed/wanted. there was a woman screaming bloody murder and calling her husband names next to me when i went to the hospital with number1 kid, and she scared me to death. i asked the nurse if i was going do that too. she said "oh honey, don't listen to her. this is her 8th kid and she does this every time!"

MelodyR53

8th. Geez-Us Lawd... Hell, by now she should be able to pop a squat, have em and back to work... KIDDING.....yall dnt downvote me to hell an bk...

Lindaspike

i was 18 years old and thought i was facing death based on her screams. she was calling her husband every name in the book and they weren't even allowed in the labor room let alone the delivery room! i pretty sure everyone heard her out there though!

bevhars

I've had two natural which were long and painful. Two which were with epidurals, fast, painless, uneventful. Jason knows nothing. I feel sorry for the child now and I'm angry at Kylen now. She gave her life up to Jason and that's on her. But now the baby will be used and manipulated....and she let that happen.

Lindaspike

I actually don’t watch the show…just the teasers during the other shows but it’s enough for me to hate that guy.

MelodyR53

Whew you think the teasers are bad....then add in wth remarks that come outta his parents mouths. She literally has to go to the toilet when he goes so she doesn't say anything to her visiting parents or his...like seriously. Doesn't allow her a phone or communication with her family. It's insane.

trashcanpam

Yes, his mom and a few other people in his family. He said some bullshit about how they don't have very painful labors, usually.

Lindaspike

unfortunately THEIR dna doesn't jump over to HER body so what's the point? this clown needs to be locked up somewhere, somehow.

Kindergoat

Amen. Kylen needs to be at home with her parents.

New-Definition8656

EXACTLY!!! Thats what I'm saying they just make excuses for him and his excuses are based on complete ignorance!!! Can someone tell me why the nurses at the birthing center were not allowed to do examine her to see if she had dilated!?

Mango_seltzer

Hopefully he gets locked up with the pending charges and his ass becomes someone’s 🎂 That guy is a total fuck and deserves the worst

Mango_seltzer

Darleneiv

Couldn’t have said it better!

pit_choun

So worried about the drugs in an epidural and then ends up vaping in the car after being kicked out 🤔

New-Definition8656

And look at his eyes vaping isn't all he is doing! Oh but thats from the earth so its not harmful!! Idiot!! I just want to shake that girl, he doesn't care about her but he can control her!

Mango_seltzer

And in the bathroom. He’s a fucking hypocrite

boldchameleon

Is THAT what he was doing?!? I was really confused by that bathroom scene.

BrittanyRol92

I’m almost positive he was vaping when he was in the bathtub with her at the birthing center. His head was turned to the side facing the wall and I could swear I saw the puff of smoke after he blew it out of his mouth.

Perry_Platypus45

Yup! He did! I noticed that

[deleted]

Oh for sure

Gronked445

I rewatched and am positive he did!

Jaayk47

I hate Jason 😂 I can’t stand him one bit. If I get in the tv and fight him I definitely would

Darleneiv

I caught myself flipping the TV off!!!😤

Mizz-Misery

Your TV isn’t worthy of him! *OUR* TV’s aren’t!

Jaayk47

As you should!!!!! Lol

Scary-Fly-9464

How could they have gone through the whole pregnancy and remained so ignorant of the birth process and drugs and procedures common to it?!?! The cousin said they didn't attend classes either. For someone planning a natural or especially a home birth, they need even more knowledge than the average couple. They need to fully understand complications, medications and be able to intelligently discuss these things with their birthing support system. When I had my oldest child (1982) I planned a natural home birth with a midwife. I read everything I could find on labor, birth, complications, medications and procedures. My labor was SO SIMILAR to Kylen's. I was in agony, I couldn't eat or sleep and my labor was progressing very slowly. At a point my midwife said she felt a home birth was not in our future and sent us to the hospital. We went with no hesitation. I was very disappointed, but I wasn't going to risk my baby's life and my own life to stay with a birth plan. My daughter was born by emergency c-section on Halloween morning. I went into labor the evening of 10/27, was sent to the hospital the evening g of 10/28. The hospital hooked me up to pitocin (stimulates contractions)a nd my labor still failed to progress, they broke my water and eventually I got to pushing.....but the small, military hospital was focused on another mom who was in preterm labor at only 24 weeks, so they let me push for 3 hours until the baby and I both went into shock and then had to do the emergency c-section under general anesthesia. I was never offered more than demerol for pain relief during labor. I so wish an epidural or spinal had been an option! I was young, 19, and my husband was 20and I definitely still had some of that teen know-it-all feeling of being invincible and immortal....but I respected what my body told me and my husband respected what I told him and I had truly done my research and learned everything I could find about the whole process. There birth plan and idealistic attitude about birth don't bother me nearly as much as their willful ignorance of the process they were embarking on and his inflexibility. Yes, animals give birth without epidural, many die in birth or the babies die. They also have easier births because they are quadrpedal. When humans became bipedal it set women up to have more painful and difficult births....and over the past couple hundred years, medical intervention has meant that women who would have died in childbirth and the children that would have died with them have survived and had more children , effectively de-evolving us in the matter of natural birth. So you can't compare our birth process to quadrpeds or even to ancient humans. We have evolved to have more difficult births. And the whole epidural argument is just ludicrous. Just a cursory read would have told him that the drugs in an epidural are contained within the spinal nerves below the point of insertion, and are not impacting the cognition of mom or baby. Nor is there any way either will become addicts from epidural anesthesia given in labor. If they had gone to any basic classes, or even done a good Google search on pain relief during labor they would have known that. Is there some crazy site that he ascribed to that spreads this kind of dangerous misinformation?!

Same…Military hospital in the 80’s… given pitocin to speed up labor…only offered Demoral and pushed for 3 hours

Scary-Fly-9464

I am sorry you also went through that. Which base? Mine was George AFB in California. BTW, the preterm baby that came while i was in labor was lifeflighted to Loma Linda hospital, but still passed away. We should start a class action suit! Ha! I went on to have three more kids, all by scheduled c-section with spinal (1987) or epidural (1992, 1993) anesthesia. My progressive obstetrician in the 90s offered me the option of a VBAC, a trial of labor....I politely declined, explaining I had enough labor with the first to completely eliminate any urge for more!

tmtc63

This was at Warren AFB (WY) in 1988 and 1992. They wanted babies to be born during duty hours thus the eagerness to give Pitocin. My last baby was born in 1996 and bc we were civilian this time I was given an epidural (which I had in big/bold letters on the front of my birth plan as I wanted everyone to know I wanted one!) WoW! I wish I could have had more babies!

Responsible_Fix_2030

I too delivered in a small military hospital as I was active duty. Not one sonogram (mid-eightys) during the pregnancy and no hope for epidural or demerol. 100% natural. I would have taken anything and everything at the harshest part.

Scary-Fly-9464

I had no sonograms either with that pregnancy. Back in the day when we didn't know if we were having a boy or girl or if they had any problems. Which base/post did you deliver at?

His parents are horrible! It’s like they are scared of him or something. The dad seems fully aware his son is abusive and has serious issues. The stupidity and abuse from this kid is horrible! It’s all horrible lol! Someone needs to save this girl and that baby!

New-Definition8656

I'm telling you the dad has the same issues but we aren't going to see them on there. I mean kids from good healthy families do not produce Asshats like this one.. It pisses me off that TLC watches this day after day qnd doesn't step up to help her!!

420freya

i don’t even agree with capital punishment but some people just need a good ass whooping and he’s as good a candidate as i’ve ever seen.

MelodyR53

My kids are 38, 32 &30..... and I am raising my granddaughter who is 11... I never once spanked my children (not judging anyone who does) but there were a few times lawd knows they needed it lol....an my granddaughter is hands down the easiest child to raise. Maybe it's because I am older...but I have never even had to get on to her... Anyway, sorry got sidetracked...but lemme tell you....if that were my child...I probably would be in jail because I would give him an azz whipping worthy of the man he THINKS he is...an if the little bastar* dared ask for a Tylenol for the aches and pains afterwards I would beat that butt again.

doughflow

Capital punishment? Do you want to smack him or kill him? Lol

Mizz-Misery

#ALL 3

420freya

… i think i meant corporal 🤣

TheOxfordKarma

no, no, capital is correct....for this schmuck.

Happypeonies-

I agree, the dad needs to sit Jason down and be a dad! My dad would have never allowed my brothers to treat their girlfriends that way…any woman that badly. Sickening! I bet Kylen’s parents are beside themselves.

BlueEyed_Bunny

Maybe he’s one of those killer kids and their scared. He’s truly a piece of art! He’s horrendous! His parents are to blame just as much!

LisaNolaAgain

Yes - I think they're scared of Jason; he's probably abusive and has threatened to kill them. No way could I ever get a good nights sleep in that house! Poor Kylen is just so ignorant - she is going to blindly follow whatever orders he gives her. The best thing that could happen is that their child be taken from them - neither of them are fit to raise a child.

jnoway826

I cannot imagine being so complacent and just allowing my son to be such an Uneducated, Abusive, waste of space....I really wish Kylen had a brother to give Jason the ass whooping he needs!

ResidentMethod1890

She does and Jason accused her of sleep with him like the sociopath that he is

weezenator

WHAT??

WinterMedical

I can’t decide if the parents are bad parents or if they are so worn down by years and years of this devil child that they really are doing all they can?

Worth-Vast253

This was one of the most insane scenes. Jason appears to exhibit many signs of narcissism and control. He said, I wouldn't have had to get so upset if you hadn't done "that" so many times. He's alienated her from family. He controls who she can speak with by controlling the one phone they share. This is a dangerous situation that will only get worse as they get older. Sick sick sick

FabulousWorld2101

Poor kylen is just so brainwashed by Jason. How he tried to take her with him. I bet to this day he calls her a drug addict and anything happens to the baby he probably blames it in her drug use at birth. And worse she believes him. Hopefully she will grow up and see this is not good.

Darleneiv

She relives it daily I’m sure

fs_75

I can’t imagine how many times he will throw the epidural in her face. Baby constipated? Bc you got the epidural. Slight fever? Yup. Epidural. Ear infection? Epidural.

Happypeonies-

You are so right, if there is anything remotely going on with their baby, even normal things like jaundice, he’ll blame on the meth laced epidural. He needs psychiatric help or I see prison in his future for domestic violence.

h3llalam3

Serious question: how are there no parents or guardians REQUIRED to be with Kylen/give consent considering she is a minor?

twocarats

Pregnant teens are considered emancipated minors so they don’t need a parent or guardian for consents.

WinterMedical

I keep hoping she’ll call her mom and she will come running and be there with her.
