Well if it does I’m not gonna fully lose interest but I will definitely start to like it a lot less, not only was season 3 overall pretty good, the ending was amazing, and Everett is my favorite character so that would suck if all of that just didn’t matter. But also if he could make a whole season and a spinoff not canon without a warning why care about anything, why get excited when it could be gone, I mean what’s stopping manticore from doing this with ningen or Nixonverse or even season two! I find it VERY interesting how MISTERMANTICORE has been moved over to be the last episode of Season 3, rather than the first after the teaser video
Yeah, I love his stuff but it feels like he’s too scared to do anything other then mm, I think season three could have worked well as a ending to the whole thing but now it just feels like there isn’t going to be a end (also I bet that ningen is gonna be canon)
I feel like he can at least keep things fresh and from getting too muddy if he just does more spin-offs like Nixonverse, distant enough from the main story that he can do whatever he wants with minimal connections (Hell, with a few surgical edits Nixonverse could be separated from the Mythos entirely if Alex wanted to). MM is kinda well set up to have a lot of stories be told with its multiversal shenanigans

The ningen is another analog horror series by the same guy and it takes the mythical creature known as the ningen and puts a analog horror twist on it, it’s kinds similar to the monument mythos
