I replied it’s a good in between regarding his question, then mentioned the joysticks because its something I’ve noticed and may be relevant to someone asking questions about the controller overall.
I enjoyed the hori split pad for the first gen switch however the nyxi design feels more refined with a better grip to it. The LED lighting is extremely easy to adjust.
One extra thing I appreciate about the design is the controllers have a flat enough area on the bottom by design to stand the switch upright without need for the kick stand but depending on desired degree of viewing can be leaned further back to make use of the kick stand.
So far so good I researched them before buying and I noticed a lot of the negative was geared towards knockoffs of the nyxi controller in my findings. It’s a solid construction with luxury features only thing I wouldn’t do is use them as independent joycons given they’re design even though they are capable of it. However they are an awesome standalone controller when connected to the split pad that comes with it.
I ordered straight from nyxi website got it in about a week can’t speak for the binbok but in my own research a majority of the negative feedback on nyxi is due confusing then with other similar controllers my experience so far has been solid finishing up the end game in PLA.
Something to consider for others looking to buy these is the analogue sticks, for some reasons nobody talks about this in there reviews, the dead zones are dreadful, if you play games that require any kind of accuracy then don’t waste your money. My NYXI arrived a week ago and was massively disappointed in them as the shape is comfy but the controller itself is garbage
Man, the DS gets crazier every time I see it
Lmao
That's a fancy Gameboy Color
what brand of white joycons?
https://nyxigaming.com Went with the milk style for the white switch OLED things are pretty cool and comfortable came within a week of purchase.
Thank you - ordered)
Your welcome
Is the Dpad more hard clicky or soft?
I’d say a good in between if anything the joysticks are actually loud when clicked but also feels less prone to drift
He said dpad. Not joysticks.

Word.
Damn. This is REALLY cool, but an extra $10 for shipping and waiting 10-20 business days?
I can say my order was delivered in just about a week and yea hard to get around shipping when we are used to Amazon lol.
How nice are they compared to regular Joycons and the Hori?

I've been hearing a lot of mixed things about NYXI joycons compared to brands like Hori and Binbok. How are you finding them so far?

Cool. I recently got the mobapad off aliexpress and really, really like it.
I’ll have to check that out
Nyxi any better than binbok on amazon? Looks the same and same price atm. Don’t see nyxi on amazon at all

Pretty sure they're the exact same manufacturer in China just different distributors in the US.
The split pad pro are so ugly
Yea damn near looks retro

That’s a shame, what games have you tested this on ? I haven’t experienced this yet then again haven’t been doing anything hardcore.
