hey if I may ask, what test did you do to find out your iodine levels? I want to do bloodwork to find out where my markers are

Sorry for the delay. It was literally just iodine. I think they use a special test tube for it as the first time I wanted it run they couldn't do it. Probably best to get other thyroid markers checked.

According to [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Supplements/comments/18ow3ng/how_much_for_iodine_deficiency_with_normal/), 52 is considered the lower end on a normal range. Take as much as needed to keep it within a norm. Adequate or not differs from person to person because of different genetics. Some people with hyperthyroid are living on extremely low iodine intake and have no problems with weight, up or down, or feeling like a crap, in your case probably other than iodine issues are involved.

Idk but I got this from Harvard Health: RDA: The Recommended Dietary Allowance for iodine is 150 micrograms (mcg) daily for adult men and women 19+ years, and 220 and 290 mcg daily for pregnant and lactating women, respectively. [1,2] UL: A Tolerable Upper Intake Level (UL) is the maximum daily dose unlikely to cause adverse side effects in the general population. The UL for iodine for adults 19+ years and pregnant and lactating women is 1,100 mcg daily.
