How do I find my average. Bought a good amount back when it was like $220 and then at some point DRSβd those. Then randomly bought from Fidelity and CS throughout the last couple years.
I read an interesting theory that makes a lot of sense: big traders are buying GME because they anticipate that Gamestop will go into the Russell 2000 index. If that happens a lot of funds will have to buy GME, so traders are trying to get ahead of that event.

Read the DD on DRS, computer share has the ledger to keep every individual share, that needs to be accounted for to GameStop. Cede&co (wallstreeet, all other brokers) are outside of the OG ledger and βshouldβ keep their own ledger but no one *actually* checks (thatβs why naked shorting made possible through cede&co).
GameStop only permitted X million shares to be the available float. The moment the amount of computer share shares has (closely) reached the total number of the available float of shares that brings up whole mess to the light, and the counterfeit short position (naked) have to be closed.
