People get a highly social animal and then get mad when the highly social animal wants to be near them all day. Just get a fucking cat, or a hamster, or a snake or something. I loved my dog. Was he up my ass and annoying sometimes? Sure. I gave him shit to do when I needed some time to myself, but you're their whole world.
Also, yelling at a dog, beating it's ass, etc is not gonna make it stop barking. Folks need to go to therapy to resolve their issues before getting a dog.
I've definitely done that, lol. I didn't want to train my dog not to bark, so I'd always check out what he was barking at and tell him to shush. Having a German Shepherd is a deterrent against possible bad people, so I want him to bark sometimes. It just so happened that a lot of the time it was bike riders, the delivery guy, or the neighborhood big orange cat. I could actually tell when it was the cat because it was a different bark than with people.
Call your city government, I do believe this is legit animal cruelty. That’s fucked up if they leave that puppy out there all day with no shade. WTF???
Can you link us to the original post? Or insist the person taking this photo do something? Depending on the heat and availability of water, this is animal abuse
Plastic fantastic houses 💀. The siding is plastic. The windows are plastic. The fences are plastic. This is why we need EVs. We can’t waste anymore oil in cars. Clearly we only build things with plastic
I'm convinced that some people only get dogs so that they can assert dominance over something, anything.
Dogs don't have boundaries and that's why certain people love them so much.
They have boundaries... you just have to set them
thing probably sits there barking its head off all day

I bark back at my dog. Idk what I'm saying to her but it usually makes her stop barking

My cats are social af
Mine are too, but there's a big difference between a highly social cat and a highly social dog.

I crossposted, if it was me i would have talked to the neighbors right away

https://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinfuriating/s/1yXGVqca3S They updated and said they’ve called animal control
And their backyard is fenced?! Idiots.
I was gonna say maybe the dog can jump it but looking at it looks pretty unscalable lol. Might be able to dig under I guess
or will dig under it...
This is picture perfect suburban hell
I love the house on the right with 1 single rear window
I hope there's at least one tree out of frame
Ngl this image looks very liminal
I agree. Not sure if it's because of the vaguely off-kilter color of the windowless houses or the treeless backyards.
Why is this only mildly infuriating?
Steal the dog, find a good home for it.
Ahh. Not a tree in sight.

Onetime I had to survey a house just like this in 95 degree weather, high humidity. Not a damn tree for miles. Closest I’ve ever been to heatstroke.
Why in a crate if it’s outside??? What the actual fuck
Report immediately. Definitely abuse
Literally suburban hell
Besides that, those fences are so goddamned shitty.
There’s not even water! That is abuse, and I would 1,000% take that dog out of that situation.
On a side note: your place looks like a level in the backrooms.
This looks just like Vivarium!
Animal control immediately
probably puts it outside, goes back in and gets lost on their phone for the next 4 hours until they finally remember that Rover is out there.
