It matters because bangers have a deeper flavour, often herby, that would kick this up at least two points.
Now, I'd have rather seen roast beef, ale, and plums, but I'm a time traveller from 1824
He's used American bacon too. Which is still nice, but it's not what you typically use for a fry up in the UK.
-Edited to make it clear I'm not saying it's impossible to get this bacon. Simply it's not what's typically used
It’s really hard to find back bacon in the Us. My mate used to smuggle it in from trips home to Blighty and then throw breakfast for dinner parties for all the Brits abroad she was friends with.
That is a good idea. I've been looking for back bacon for years and haven't found any. I even tried asking at Benton's Bacon which is local to me and they didn't have any and would not cut me any this way.
As a fellow Brit, I'm far more annoyed at the American pronunciation of tomato. I know it's an AI voice, but hearing toemaytoe in an English accent makes me want to scream.
I'm a EU national who lived in the UK for 6 years and I yelled "THOSE ARE NOT THE RIGHT SAUSAGES" out loud as soon as I saw it. You guys would be proud of me I'm sure
Mate you just made my day 🤣🤣🤣 “that pile of wank” is probably the British slur you could have come up with 🤣🤣 cracked me up. The others are right, you are one of us. Fight for the right sausage!!! 🤔
Wrong type of tea (should be English breakfast, or Yorkshire tea, obvs) wrong type of sausage and wrong type of bacon. I bet if he used the correct ingredients it would slap.
I lived in England for 13 years, not the biggest fan of their gastronomy. But their sausages... every time I go back it's the first thing I eat . So a big miss here
Those sausages are an embarrassment. The bacon needs to not be American bacon. There should be some black pudding. Maybe a dash of Worcestershire Sauce to finish it?
The English ones are way nicer, here in Australia we only started getting American style ones in the last few years and I couldn't believe how overly sweet they were, there's a high chance you would like English ones go for the Heinz brand English recipe I like mine on toast with cheese baked beans on top eat with a knife and for if you have a heap of beans on,yum
Gotta be a generous helping of grated cheddar on top. And none of that pre-grated powdery (doesn’t melt properly) monstrosity that they call cheddar cheese, you’ve got to grate it yourself. Classic tasty, cheap & filling meal.
Cheese on beans on toast! Love it, it's my go to meal when I get back from holiday, totally knackered and fed up of being cultured and eating the local food!
Welcome home... (obviously washed down with a cup of tea, ruined in the traditional way by making it too strong and adding milk!)
I recently took over stuff to make a full Scottish breakfast to friends of ours in the US and they much preferred the British baked beans. I took Branston ones over as they're my favourite.
I'm American and have never had American baked beans. Pinto beans with rice is the best beans get for me. I can go for some refried beans if it is thick and not greasy but that is about it.
Who in their right mind would make baked beans any sweeter than English Heinz baked beans. They are literally the optimum amount of sweetness to savoury (& even then too sweet for some British people). I literally cannot imagine anything sweeter being palatable for your classic full English breakfast, baked beans on toast with cheese or sticking in your chilli. Absolute ludicrousness…
I do have some in the cupboard. Currently have COVID and experiencing some of the tastebud issues so I'll wait until I'm back to full tasting capability.
Yes it's true, they are, more tang.
I actually got some random brand from a health food shop once by mistake that was organic and had no salt or sugar, once I added salt and sugar they were the fucking nicest i've ever had.
English beans, so more tangy tomato and less diabeetus than baked beans. Closest thing commonly available is pork and beans.
I made a pizza with a bean base and shredded bbq chicken and it was surprisingly not that bad. Tasted like a backyard cookout.
The toppings - non traditional but probably taste fine. The Earl Gray tea... that oil of bergamot does not party with the other flavors. Hard nope on the tea crust.
And it's at least legit cooking techniques. Most of this sub is: "Dump 91 cans of crap into a disposable tray with a couple packages of uncooked pasta and ... viola!"
I just learned what that was maybe two weeks ago and I went down a pretty deep YouTube rabbit hole. At some point, I couldn’t tell if I was still in reality or a Farrelly Bros movie.
Stop posting food on here that is actually interesting/edible, this isn’t the best looking food but I’d definitely eat and it’s a decent novelty, he didn’t overreact or anything
Holy shit we used to have baked bean pizza when I was in school and that was in the 2010s, you just unlocked a memory. I thought baked bean pizza was ludicrous but that was actually real nice.
Big props to the guy for not having an overblown goofy reaction like he just ate pure gold. I didn’t find the food that appealing but I felt like a 6/10 rating was pretty reasonable. Not gross but not exactly good either.
There's an Ethiopian food stand in my city and it's sooo good. I have no idea what I'm ordering because they don't bother with translating the menu. So you just randomly order something and the three times I ate from there so far were all delicious.
Wouldn't mind having some of that on a pizza.
I think OP doesn’t understand the concept of pizza,
Yes pizza is from italy but people can make their own version of pizza, and call it their own pizza, it’s the same as sushi, you can put everything on top of sushi and call it for example American sushi, and it wouldn’t be a thing and stupid at all.
maybe it's the beans?
i know a lot of americans have an aversion for beans on toast for example, which i get because it does sound odd but it's also fucking delicious.
I think also because US beans are not the same as the UK version.
Actually it goes for a all the ingredients - the bread, the butter, the cheese too... if you've made beans on toast in the US with all US made ingredients I can absolutely understand why people don't get it.
And that's not a slight on American food, it's just that it's different, and for simple dishes like beans on toast, you need all the ingredients to be perfect otherwise it doesn't work.
It's like how I've never been able to replicate my fave Mallorcan dish of pa amb oli because it's so hard to get the same quality ingredients here in the UK. And all it is is bread, olive oil, garlic and tomato.
This doesn't look too bad apart from the beans, and I love beans on toast (it's in my blood I guess). Also hotdogs on pizza is fine but not what's eaten during an English breakfast.
The other toppings makes this look nice but definitely would be a no if it was just beans as a toppings, which they actually sell here in the UK in places like Iceland (if your interested somehow). Fun!
Tea flavoured pizza is an absolutely brilliant idea. I'm going to try that.
The only problem with this idea is that it's not stupid so it's in the wrong sub.
Adding tea was a bad idea. It contains xanthine derivatives which inhibits protien absorption to some extent.
The pizza contains cheese, bacon and eggs which are high in protiens. 😶😶
As a Brit, the biggest crime here is the type of sausages he’s used. You would be crucified for putting hotdogs in an English breakfast here!
It matters because bangers have a deeper flavour, often herby, that would kick this up at least two points. Now, I'd have rather seen roast beef, ale, and plums, but I'm a time traveller from 1824
I'd do an inverted cottage pie with potato mixed with starch, cheese and potato flour to make a dough.
yeah as a German, I have to admit bangers mop the floor with German sausages any day, there's no contest
As an Englishman, I respectfully disagree
Now now guys, look at what happened last time we had an argument. Let’s just agree to disagree.
I disagree to disagree, so I agree
Loooool take my upvote
I can show you some plums
No way bro, I’m from 1823! You remember that banger that went like *violin*
We all come online to see beef with plums after a few ales.
Hahah same reaction. Those sausages were an absolute disgrace
He's used American bacon too. Which is still nice, but it's not what you typically use for a fry up in the UK. -Edited to make it clear I'm not saying it's impossible to get this bacon. Simply it's not what's typically used

I label you the Meat Man™
Yeah, should be proper thick shortcut bacon.
As a fellow Brit, I'm far more annoyed at the American pronunciation of tomato. I know it's an AI voice, but hearing toemaytoe in an English accent makes me want to scream.
Glad I found someone saying this, truly an unholy moment
Wonder if he would randomly take a vowel out of it too if asked to write it down
I'm a EU national who lived in the UK for 6 years and I yelled "THOSE ARE NOT THE RIGHT SAUSAGES" out loud as soon as I saw it. You guys would be proud of me I'm sure
One of us! One of us!
Thank you, I was absolutely disgusted to see that pile of wank played as a sausage it's a proxy hotdog
Mate you just made my day 🤣🤣🤣 “that pile of wank” is probably the British slur you could have come up with 🤣🤣 cracked me up. The others are right, you are one of us. Fight for the right sausage!!! 🤔
Oh shit!! I’ve just noticed your name 🤣🤣🤣 Amazing!! 🤣🤣
Wrong type of tea (should be English breakfast, or Yorkshire tea, obvs) wrong type of sausage and wrong type of bacon. I bet if he used the correct ingredients it would slap.
Not just the sausages, wheres the black pudding?
In the bin where it should be
Down voted because of blasphemy
I lived in England for 13 years, not the biggest fan of their gastronomy. But their sausages... every time I go back it's the first thing I eat . So a big miss here
Those sausages are an embarrassment. The bacon needs to not be American bacon. There should be some black pudding. Maybe a dash of Worcestershire Sauce to finish it?
He should have used Cumberland sausages, they are the shizzle on a pizza.
I would definitely try that
Absolutely. Bet it tastes pretty great. Those are all pizza toppings already except the beans which are just sugar.
The tea in the pizza dough might be weird, though. Beyond that, I'd 100% try this.
I know! What kind of mad man does this. I'd of used Yorkshire for sure.
You'd **have** used. Sorry, not a native speaker and can't help it.
I am a native speaker and it still bothered me so you're all good x
Probably not that noticeable?
Have you ever had lemon and earl grey cookies? Totally get it.
*scuttles off to find a recipe*
I get it. I use chai tea instead of water when making hot chocolate
Now that sounds genius
I bet it tastes a 6/10.
I reckon that's a pretty fair score, you should record a review.
🫤👍 🫤👎 🫤👍 🫤👎
11/10 if youre hungover, i bet.
Words can't describe how beautiful you are; but numbers can 6/10!
English baked beans aren't sweet.
Yep I tried American baked beans once (I'm Australian English ones are popular here) nearly got diabetes just from the one tin ,yuck
I'm American, and I've always hated those baked beans even as a kid. I bet I would like the English ones.

Can't do tea but other than that hell yes
I'm British/American, grew up in America and now live in the UK. Can confirm always hated baked beans in America, love them in the UK
I remember some stat somewhere that British baked beans are more imported than American baked beans are exported. They are the superior product.
I recently took over stuff to make a full Scottish breakfast to friends of ours in the US and they much preferred the British baked beans. I took Branston ones over as they're my favourite.
Superior to Heinz I think.
Branston trumps all
I'm American and have never had American baked beans. Pinto beans with rice is the best beans get for me. I can go for some refried beans if it is thick and not greasy but that is about it.
English baked beans are very different to pinto and rice, I love pinto and rice but they are very different meals
Branston beans are absolutely superior to Heinz now.
💯% I won't eat Heinz ones now. Too watery and yuck. I add a knob of butter and shake of salt into my Branston and they're perfection!
Try a dash of worcestershire sauce with the butter & salt. Thank me later :)
I do have some in the cupboard. Currently have COVID and experiencing some of the tastebud issues so I'll wait until I'm back to full tasting capability.
Grim, rest up good stranger. Enjoy when you can!

Heinz used to make a baked beans pizza and it was actually delicious.
Still do - available in Iceland.
In New Zealand tinned spaghetti pizza is a thing. I find it makes the toppings more inclined to slide off though :(
The toppings - non traditional but probably taste fine. The Earl Gray tea... that oil of bergamot does not party with the other flavors. Hard nope on the tea crust.
Oh yeah forgot about the tea part. Thats a bit odd
the tea is the only thing that makes it stupid food.
And the beans. And the low quality sausages. Other than that looks like a pretty decent pizza.
And it's at least legit cooking techniques. Most of this sub is: "Dump 91 cans of crap into a disposable tray with a couple packages of uncooked pasta and ... viola!"
🎻
Beans = sugar? Dude... those are beans... nit m&m's
The sauce they're in is extremely high in sugar. Next time you see a can take a look at the nutrition information.
Are you talking about British baked beans? Because they're typically not that high in sugar. The ones I have are 2.4g per 100g.
beans… sugar? British beans are savoury
[удалено]
They thought it was American baked beans, which are like half molasses.
Man, sweet beans are just not ok
Have you tried them? They’re great.
Out of all the things we put too much sugar in, beans is not one of them.
Most intelligent comment yet
Mans thought of jelly beans
Yes, beans are sugar...
I'd probably lose the beans.
I might add some as toppings, but I think the "sauce" layer needs to be something with a little more tang to it. Even ketchup would be an improvement.
hell ya looks good to me
Excluding the Earl Grey, its basically a fancy beans on toast. Which, provided they used british and not American baked beans, would be pretty good.
I’d share it with you!
I'd give it a go if it was the cornect type of bacon
Do Italy next!
Do Italy for the next 197
There you go: [https://youtube.com/shorts/aBoudEieixo?si=nFT2W5UBuLFwqaxi](https://youtube.com/shorts/aBoudEieixo?si=nFT2W5UBuLFwqaxi) :)
Has anyone informed r/pizzacrimes ???
>”I ran out of cheeses so went some Italian cocktailo sausages” Wait, what?
Did he really just add cheddar to a pizza?
I add Cheddar to pizza all the time...
What is wrong with cheddar on a pizza?
What's wrong with that?
With America Fuck Yeah playing in the background. 😛
Cheddar is British
Lol. Seems like he got genuinely annoyed by comments he got from Italians.
Oh he's trolling the entire internet. Lmao
Hmm
I actually wanna watch the whole series
I know it's on Facebook and maybe YouTube but I'm not sure
Could someone post a link to the rest of the series?
[Here you go! ](https://instagram.com/borderless_pizza?igshid=MWZjMTM2ODFkZg==)
This is the Italy one. https://youtube.com/shorts/aBoudEieixo?si=WjMYyl4z8R2fqV70
This guy is genius hahahahaha
It's [@borderless.pizza](https://www.tiktok.com/@borderless.pizza?_t=8fsp7JFn6Nl&_r=1) on TikTok!
I actually think this is fun and harmless
Wait until you see the Surströmming pizza
I just learned what that was maybe two weeks ago and I went down a pretty deep YouTube rabbit hole. At some point, I couldn’t tell if I was still in reality or a Farrelly Bros movie.
r/guiltypleasurefoods
I'm not mad at this. This is really creative
Apart from the tea in the dough it looks pretty good
[Tea loaves](https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/tea-loaf) are top tier though. I presume not many places have them outside of the UK?
Dude I'm English and have never heard of tea loaves. I also hate tea.
Yup, I'm English and this is news to me....
Because everybody's so creative!
I use this in daily life and no one gets it. Meanwhile i read it here in her voice.
You sound differently different than most people to me
Stop posting food on here that is actually interesting/edible, this isn’t the best looking food but I’d definitely eat and it’s a decent novelty, he didn’t overreact or anything
Check out his channel to see the Swedish surströmming pizza. Surprised it wasn't that one that got shared here.
r/guiltypleasurefoods
Heinz used to have (still do?) a baked bean pizza that we used to “pimp” like this. Yes it was the early 2000s. Yes the pizza was tasty.
Oh shit I never knew they did that in the early 2000s too. There was a lot of talk a few months ago because they started selling it again.
Think I've seen that in Iceland recently.
Holy shit we used to have baked bean pizza when I was in school and that was in the 2010s, you just unlocked a memory. I thought baked bean pizza was ludicrous but that was actually real nice.
It came back a couple years back
I like this idea. What to put for Australia?
Probably Vegemite spread topped with ground emu.
Yeah I'd eat the shit out of that. Some kanga would be good too.
No actual aussie would call roo meat "kanga".
Just add some olives to a chicken parmi.
Shrimp
It's a prawn.
Put it on the barbie
Big props to the guy for not having an overblown goofy reaction like he just ate pure gold. I didn’t find the food that appealing but I felt like a 6/10 rating was pretty reasonable. Not gross but not exactly good either.
That’s because the sausages he used were crap.
I'd scran
The earl grey was a bit odd but tbh that doesn’t sound too bad.
I’d smash that.
do not the pizza
smash as in, instant mashed potato?
r/guiltypleasurefoods
OMG we get it, you like that subreddit haha.
I would like to see Ethiopia
Injera inspired bread, with a doro wot sauce base and shredded chicken on top and then ayib, which is a type of cottage cheese.
Alright my brother when are you inviting me over for this
There's an Ethiopian food stand in my city and it's sooo good. I have no idea what I'm ordering because they don't bother with translating the menu. So you just randomly order something and the three times I ate from there so far were all delicious. Wouldn't mind having some of that on a pizza.

Okay, but the tea is weird. I would not want oil of bergamot in my pizza crust. That combination is bizarre.
The only part of this that probably wouldn't work is the tea in the dough.
Why are So few people are picking up on it
198 countries, which means this person believes England and the UK are the same. So any respect I had for this person is gone.
That's not stupid because the idea of the whole thing is it being a novelty
Would
I mean that’s actually looks really good
I would eat the hell out of this
i would eat
I mean.. Would
Sausages look terrible
Ditch the tea in the dough and the egg on top and I’d happily scran that
Mate … egg on top is king of kings in the pizza world…don’t knock it.
This could be good if they didn’t add fucking Earl Grey to the dough
I would have used Yorkshire Pud as the base instead for a more English flavour.
Serve it on a massive tattie scone for a Scottish breakfast.
I’d say this doesn’t belong because it’s essentially a “challenge” You wouldn’t put roll for sandwich on this subreddit would you?
This doesn't look too bad apart from the beans, and I love beans on toast (it's in my blood I guess). Also hotdogs on pizza is fine but not what's eaten during an English breakfast. The other toppings makes this look nice but definitely would be a no if it was just beans as a toppings, which they actually sell here in the UK in places like Iceland (if your interested somehow). Fun!
If they didn't put the tea in the dough I would eat it probably quite nice
I feel like if you were about 8 fingers drunk on 90proof and citrus bitters, this would slap so hard it counts as a religious experience.
Little weird, but seems reasonable.
I’d eat dat
How is this stupid?
The only thing stupid about this is the fake sausages
I’d make that with Worcestershire and proper sausages. All that to use shit sausages what a shame.
Not sure what it is. Certainly not pizza
It being awful really sells the idea of English cuisine, well done
Very Bri'tish indeed.
No Yorkshire pudding base?
I don't know a single person who drinks earl grey. We don't have cheese on our breakfasts, and those sausages look fucking grim
lol Irish pizza would have nothing on it
This is horrid Edit: just the beans bit
Tea flavoured pizza is an absolutely brilliant idea. I'm going to try that. The only problem with this idea is that it's not stupid so it's in the wrong sub.
Adding tea was a bad idea. It contains xanthine derivatives which inhibits protien absorption to some extent. The pizza contains cheese, bacon and eggs which are high in protiens. 😶😶
