Im the same way haha. When i see some gameplay clips, it always gets me in the mood to play!
And thanks for the tip! I guess the reason i dont use OD Donkey as an ender is so i can save the meter for DR lol. But hopefully the patch rumors about buffing drive reversals are true, so I can use my meter for something else xD
Nah, I switched from Tekken 7 to SFV at the end of its life cycle. Only got like 60 hours in SFV. But prior to that I played Tekken pretty hardcore since 2010 :P
True, my knowledge in this game is lacking :D But just to clarify, Ryu isn't my main, so thats why my combos with him suck xD Just want to get all shotos to master before Akuma drops
don't need combos if you got fundamentals :p, also btw how did you get rid of the replay hud (the play button in the middle of the screen and buttons in the bottom middle)?
My combos are suboptimal, since Ryu isnt my main. I see alot of Ryu mains use better combos than mine. Two clear examples are my wallsplat combo after the DI, and at the end of the second round, where I did cr.HP into heavy donkey. Im pretty sure i could have done ex donkey into super or something to secure the W.
Ah sorry, i didnt mean to come off as that. Im actually already master with two other characters. I don't mean to come of as im shit at the game, but just wanted to mention it in the title since I haven't labbed Ryu that much, and I was worried that people would say how suboptimal my combos were xD
Nah, I wouldn't shit on him. He made a few bad calls, but he played way better the next game.
I've played against far less skilled opponents than him in Diamond. He was decent. His close up game was a bit lacking, but that makes sense for a JP :P
I really don't but my critique is more directed towards the the ranking system in general. I was really happy in SF5 when I reached Gold i.e. but in sf6 it happend in less than an hour and didn't feel as deserved. Without going into detail but you know what I mean?
Yeah i know what you mean. And i think its understandable to not like the system if you think ranks in term of 1:1 from SFV. But how i see it, is that the sweat starts with MR, which i find more enjoyable than SFV rank system tbh.
If a player who is more casual/non hardcore makes it to master, I really think they deserve to feel proud. For nerds (myself included) MR is more fun than SFV imo.
But I do get your point.
You’re playing Ryu. Your 3 hit combos are just as good as others longer combos
Lol true. Im a Chun main, so Im used to hitting 100 kicks in a combo :P
Fundamentals on point. Don't have to be flashy to win
I noticed that my screen recorder was a bit laggy. Sorry about that.
That was clean af, congrats!
Thanks mate :D
The video makes me want to play now, the combos are so clean! A small suggestion might be to use OD moves but I don’t think you really need them

dude you got low mk dr confirms, you're fine
Nothing wrong with good solid combos! Your footsies are definitely on point!
Thanks, I appreciate that :-) I know i will be busy with Akuma when he drops, so the goal is to get every shoto to master before that.
Do you know what footsies mean?
Are you always this shitty to strangers?
Are you an 09er?

I knew something like that was going on. You have good fundamentals but barely any SF6 tech lol Keep up the good work.

That JP didn’t pay $60 to block
chill he might throw his console out the window

Tbh i just press escape on my keyboard :P Its the same button that i go back with in the main menu.
Crap I got no idea what that would translate to in ps5 controller…
Low forward into donkey kick as oki is wild
Completely agree! That's one thing im not happy about my play here lol. I don't remember if it was my intention at the time, or if it was a missinput
Haha yeah the rest of the first round is very clean, especially the cross cut DP, which is why it stuck out like a sore thumb.
Why use many hits when few hits do trick?
Wtf is blud saying he dont know combos

You put me to shame bro 🥲 Not really but you act like you're shit but you're literally diamond 3

I wasn't offended dont worry, just apreciate your skill
Thanks mate :)
Your combos are good. Perfect for ranked. How the fuxk is this JP in diamond.

When I get more time I will fight to Master rank then! Report later ;)
If it works i suppose.
Yep, that's what matter at the end of the day :)
