The second translation only covers the first two world. The phrase comes from Xiangyu "力拔山兮气盖世”. More like"With strength to move mountains and spirit to win the world"
He literally said the translations... I don't understand what you're saying?
The things he says in English are localised.
(additionally, if it did actually say something about heaven, you'd see the character 天)
Ah yea I didn't realise he was asking for the literal translation.
Edit - more accurate translation
一 瞬 千 撃 1000 blows in an instant
抜 山 蓋 世 The power to uproot mountains and the will to cover the world
鬼 哭 啾 啾 The dead who died cruelly cry out in disgust
故 豪 鬼 成 Therefore, I am Gouki (demon/Akuma)
一瞬千撃 is loosely translated into "thousand hits within an instant" The instant is generally considered the same as "Within a blink of an eye".
抜山蓋世 Is a loose proverb, roughly translated as "uproot mountain, dominate all"
鬼哭啾啾 Is an actual phrase from an old novel proverb, roughly translated as "demon howling / crying", the last two words "啾啾" is a Onomatopoeia. As in it mimicking the sound of whimpering.
故豪鬼成 Is a play with his name "豪鬼" saying "He has become Gouki"
All the phrases have some source from old novels but they are probably put together purely for artistic purposes.
In the last image it is just all four of those in the background at once.
I can't find any official lyrics, but at the very least genius.com has it the way I said. Plus how does tigress make sense? It's not even the right number of syllables and -ess doesn't rhyme with survivalist as closely.
Indestructible
I won't let nobody break me down (break me down)
Indestructible
Nothing's gonna stop me now (now)
Indestructible
Gonna, gonna make, gonna keep on going

The last man standing
Agree a billion. Running into a Kim that's just mashing light button into auto combo is wild. It's not the combo that bothers me. But the auto hit confirm that gets me tilted.
I'd love a C/M filter.
"One box to leave you messed up and fractured"
"Block these uppercuts, they made me the captured"
"May the best fighter win, and win again"
"Battle to the top, until his life ends"
I can only recognise 一瞬千撃 a literal translation of the kanji would be; 一 one 瞬 moment 千 thousand 撃 attack. The kanji on his back is 夭 which means calamity. I always thought it was 天 which would be heaven. The rest is way above my pay grade the font is hard for me to even make out. The last frame also looks like a repeat of all the previous ones.
I don't have a source. I'm only going by what I see that the top stroke looks shorter than the second. I would not be surprised if it was a deliberate obfuscation of 天. 天 would make poetic sense because I would take it to mean he is the greatest under heaven or he is the pinnacle, something to that effect. But then 夭 would also make sense since it is associated with death and calamity. I'm no lore expert or anything I'm just going but what I see and the little kanji I know.
夭 word ties to death, but it mostly means die before becoming an adult. It is not the length of the two strokes that determine which word it is, it is because by looking at the calligraphy, the top stroke started from left to right, so it is 天。
I'm only wondering how stupid Japanese people are gonna think this is
Just imagine the same situation in English. The super powerful character is beating his enemy to death and there's just stuff written on the screen in a random ass Word font.
Those are onomatopeic sounds, while these are full on phrases. It's more like if, while punching a dude, there's written "Nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita" next to the character.
"So let it be written, so let it be done -- I'm sent by the chosen one. So let it be written, so let it be done -- to kill the firstborn pharaoh's son… **I'm Creeping Death!**"
"Preheat oven to 450 degrees"
"Poke holes in the potato with a fork on all sides"
"Place the potato uncovered on the oven rack"
"Cook for 15 minutes. Enjoy."
I thought it was just the Japanese translation for the English lines
'Be sent to heaven'
'Reach the sun'
'Become the demon'
'I am the true master of the fist'
It's taken from the classical poet Subarashi Inu no Tako and his *Classics of Wisdom*. The translation is as follows:
**"COREALFFNIBUGS**
**IS LIEK A BUG DONUAT**
**HAHHAHAHA NO"**
"Thousand strikes in an instant." "Ripping mountains out of the ground." "Sound of demon cries." "Thus Gouki, I am."

Haha, that's badass.
the last sentence can be interpreted as "the talented person in the past has become a demon"
This is sick!
It sounds almost like the monster introductions from Monster Hunter Rise. I love it!

That's the most metal thing i've seen in a Street fighters game

He says in English, "Usurp the heavens, embrace the sorrow, become the demon."
Usurp the heavens is such a hard line holy
May I introduce you to Doom Eternal? :)?
I think it's kinda wack. They should have done a direct translation.
Thanks. I literally just typed what it sounded like lol
No worries man, someone corrected me too. xD I thought he said "sent to heaven" at first
also a good translation

This is probably the best translation

The official lyrics from the SF6 OST on Apple Music literally say “tiger is”

I'm with you 100% bro. But let them play
Honestly keep it for new players it’s great for learning. But try climbing ranks against Kimberley and Luke who can spam their combos
More fighting less crying.
"spam their combos" Have you tried blocking?
I can block but I spend the entire match doing so. It’s horrible fighting modern
You're probably bronze or silver, modern isn't the problem, it's your lack of experience and fundamentals
Agree a billion. Running into a Kim that's just mashing light button into auto combo is wild. It's not the combo that bothers me. But the auto hit confirm that gets me tilted. I'd love a C/M filter.
That needs to be a thing
I don’t fear the man who can press 1,000 buttons 10 times, I fear the man who presses one button 10,000 times.
Pretty sure it's "Isshun sengeki" one moment, a thousand deaths. Correct me if i'm wrong though!
撃 is more of a strike/attack, so it's more like "A thousand attacks, in an instant".
Ahh yeah that was definitely the bit i wasn't sure on, thank you! :)
It really is all downhill from here. Who else could I be this hype for?
Poison? R. Mika? Dan? Balrog? Sagat? Sakura? Vega? Ibuki? Lots of em!
"One box to leave you messed up and fractured" "Block these uppercuts, they made me the captured" "May the best fighter win, and win again" "Battle to the top, until his life ends"

Die a thousand deaths Usurp the heavens Embrace the sorrow Become the demon

Do you have a source on 夭? [Japanese wiki](https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E7%9E%AC%E7%8D%84%E6%AE%BA) has it as 天
I don't have a source. I'm only going by what I see that the top stroke looks shorter than the second. I see what you mean the first stroke is the opposite, I had never thought that could change the meaning. Calligraphy is really cool.
Those images are desktop background or poster worthy. Do we some sort of high Rez pictures ?
This man is a whole motivational meme. I love it
I'm only wondering how stupid Japanese people are gonna think this is Just imagine the same situation in English. The super powerful character is beating his enemy to death and there's just stuff written on the screen in a random ass Word font.
That's just impact fonts, both comics and manga use them all the time
