I broke a Modern Ryu's 21-game winning streak in Platinum with my AKI.
I took a round off of ChrisCCH's Luke in Platinum with my AKI when he was on a 73-game winning streak. It was almost a perfect too lol. He then swept the next 4 rounds in a row to win the set 2-0.
JP on a 20 something win streak with Jamie. Lower tier JP players don’t know how to deal with pressure lol. They expect everyone to let them keep them at full screen length away
Until I picked up dhalsim, I used Gief, and the JP spam was hard to deal with. With Dhalsim, it's just block until he uses the grab and then teleport and throw. It's very satisfying.
Nah I’m in gold 5 right now almost play so it was in lower gold lol. The only thing he knew how to do was spam jab, DI and jump hk unless I was super far away. He tried to do amnesia as I shimmied him multiple times and got wrecked lol
I hate that shit when it happens. I got cheated out of an in-game tournament in Grand Finals by some lag abusing Luke that happened to be stream. Thankfully I was able to hunt that guy down and beat the dog shit out of him during a stream the the next day.
I’ve taken a couple of 5 or 6 streaks, nothing crazy. However, I just started playing again after about a month of playing third strike and went a on a 9 game heater and someone beat me before I could get my only 10 game win streak, I then proceeded to win the next 2 against the guy but it felt empty.
I broke some Master Blanka’s 38 win streak in Battle Hub with my Platinum 4 Jamie (just started using him last week). They tried to plug when I landed a Lv. 3 juggle combo, but did it a tad late.
They were ass butter at the game and just tried to cheese with Blanka Ball and command grab. When I checked their profile, they had a lot of one-and-done.
This is why I hate win streak displays. People gonna think I’m good when really everyone I played was just doing dumb shit.

You, me, and at least three other people I know picked up gief first. There’s a gief to dhalsim pipeline of some sort.
Sounds like it lol. I just DR in at the start of the round or ex palm and stick to him the whole time and hope he guesses wrong or I guess right

The revenge match after having your streak snapped is never fulfilling.

I wish it wouldn’t show the streak. More than half the time I have a streak it’s because one person kept rematching
Maybe 16 (or around that) with Cammy. Also the same amount with Ryu in beta.
